I've enjoyed visiting Del Sur as the atmosphere here is lively, a great bright and spacious restaurant. I came for brunch this past Sunday, I ordered the french toast bites and the California Taco. I had to send the french toast bites back they were too dark and hard to even eat. The new round of french toast bites were delicious, I'm so happy I sent the old ones back. The California Taco was good as well. I enjoyed the Blueberry Buzz drink. My daughter ordered the fruity pebbles french toast along with the chicken and waffles, our friend enjoyed his shrimp and grits. Although I enjoyed brunch and my previous visits, I noticed that the servers could be more friendlier and make sure the guests they are serving is really having a good experience. Check the orders make sure food items are not burnt before bringing them to the table. Well, that's my little rant I will return because the restaurant itself along with the good food will make me return when I'm in the area, friendlier service is always appreciated even when the server isn't having the best day. I noticed the outside patio has a nice water view of the lake, I look forward to sitting out there next visit.

My sister brought me here as this is her go to bar for brunch. The drinks were good I got the mimosa flight the different juices were mixed with a premade orange juice and champagne mix that I nixed when I decided I wanted to do a full sized pomegranate mimosa because I am not a fan of orange juice. So if you're like me ask for the flavor options with just champagne. I also tried the Christmas in Cabo holiday drink and it was good very very creamy. For brunch I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was highly recommended by the bartender but once I tasted it I was a tad disappointed. It lacked season the flavor punch came from the sausage. The sauce has potential but needs more salt and a few other recipe tweaks I suggested to my sister but I know they're catering to a wider customer net and not just my taste buds. The grits tasted like instant grits and were watery and clumpy not a smooth bowl of grits you'd expect. It was filling though just lacked seasoning outside of the sausage that's included. Maybe add more sausage to it. Would I come back? Yes, but I would definitely order different or just come for drinks. Also marketing wise they've gotta do something to up their presence on social media because the space is nice but for the time I came on a good brunch Sunday it was quite empty and I was told a DJ would be in at noon. Ambiance was good. It's cute inside. Service was ok. Our server could have checked in on us more. If he would have checked in when our food got delivered (by someone else) I would have asked him to take my food back. I got 3 tacos. One chicken, one shrimp, and one salmon. Not only did my food come out cold/room temp but so did my other 3 friends. Nothing was hot. We ate here on Saturday 5/31 and on Sunday 6/1 we all experienced severe stomach aches. I was on Facebook this morning and realized we were not the only ones. I will never go back to eat here again.

Delsur is always my go to because it's so close to home. The food is usually pretty good, drinks are delicious, atmosphere is nice and customer service is good!

Del Sur has an amazing menu, full of delicious bites. On this visit I enjoyed the Baja bowl, nibbled on some delicious jalapeño fries and sweet, tender plantains. The services was great, the restaurant was busy and the ambiance was phenomenal. The food came out hot, and fresh, in a timely manner.

Great food, great service.Amazing drinks. Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere. The outside dinning is very relaxing. And the desserts are a great way to finish off the night.

While visiting my daughter, she wanted to go out for Tacos. Little did I know that this taco experience would be different. This is NOT Taco Bell. The service was awesome. We sat out on the patio by the water, which was pretty nice. They had an outside bar and the music was pretty decent. I would recommend that if your in Savannah, GA give them a try, you won't be upset. They have taco in so many varieties.

Got the chicken and shrimp fajitas and the dip sampler. The fajitas were pretty good, wish it came with more fajitas vegetables, and it wasn't super fresh, and the chicken was a bit bland. The dips were good, the guacamole and queso were both fairly tasty, I loved whatever seasoning was on the chips. Not the best Mexican I've ever had for the price, but had a nice atmosphere and good quick service.

Del Sur is located in Pooler in a newer shopping center behind the CVS which has a selection of restaurant, hair salons, and cafés. Parking can be very difficult if you're trying to eat here during lunch or dinner. So come early or later. Del Sur is located on the end which has a side deck for outside seating and overlooks a small man made pond. The inside has tall ceiling but can be loud since it's mainly a large open space with metal seating and stone floors. It has a modern trendy vibe but that's the only thing it has going for it. Their website states it's a "Southern take on non-traditional Tex-Mex cuisine" which I've come to learn means nothing is made fresh and it was bland. The rice tasted like it was instant, the soft corn shells were hard like they had left the bag open. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and I was expecting them to come out hot like in a Mexican restaurant but instead there was no sizzle and pop, but cold shrimp in a tiny iron skillet. I stated as much to the wait staff and she must hear it a lot because she wasn't even fazed. She just stated that they wait until everyone food is ready to bring out... which doesn't explain the cold not even lukewarm shrimp. I ordered 1 of their single street tacos as a app. Pulled Pork $4.75 Smoked pork, cabbage slaw, pineapple relish & golden bbq sauce Again... the soft corn shell was hard... the meat was cold, there was no bbq in sight and when I brought it to the waitress attention her response was. "I can let the manager know" but we never heard anything on it again. The restaurant was practically empty for 7 PM on a Saturday. And for our party of six, not once did she come by to refill our waters or offer more second drinks. I wasn't impressed.

Service was slow, no refills on drinks. Menu is limited, not what I would expect from a restaurant with the name Del Sur.

You could easily miss this hidden gem, tucked away on the corner beside a gas station. There are dine-in options, but most people seemed to be taking their food to go. It's the best quick to go option I've seen. They had my order ready in no time. I ordered an assortment of tacos: carne asada, birria, and fish tacos, plus a side of guacamole and chips. To top it all off, I added their homemade cheesecake casera with strawberry purée... and of course, a large agua de jamaica con limonada. The staff were some of the friendliest I've experienced in the area--must be because they're from Cali lol. My only suggestion would be to leave the sauces off the tacos for to-go orders, or explain that "all the way" means everything on them. By the time I got back to my hotel, the sauce had soaked through the tacos, so I missed that classic one-hand taco experience. Also... definitely add extra limes. Thankfully, those chips came to the rescue, and the flavors absolutely did not disappoint. Bottom line: it really did hit close to home. The flavors were on point, and the true winners of it all were the fish tacos and the cheesecake.

Extremely disappointing customer service after 10+ years as a customer…read more I placed an online order for about $50 worth of food. When I arrived, I was told their system had undercharged me by $2. No problem, I was happy to pay the difference. Instead of simply letting me pay the $2 and giving me the order I placed, they told me they had already made something different and that I could either take the wrong tacos or buy two additional tacos. I had to argue just to receive the order I had already placed and paid for. The issue started because their online system only allowed me to select one meat option for a 3-taco order. My wife is pregnant and specifically wanted three carne asada tacos, so I selected carne asada (with the $1 upcharge) and placed the order along with about $35 more in food. When I arrived, they had made tacos with random meats instead and suggested I just take them. After finally agreeing to fix it, they insisted I pay the difference but charged me $3 plus tax instead of the $2 they originally said. I questioned it, and immediately after charging me they admitted it actually was $2. By then I had already been overcharged and no one seemed concerned about fixing it. So to summarize: * Their system glitch caused the issue * I was willing to pay the difference immediately * I had to push just to receive the order I placed * They overcharged me anyway and didn't correct it All of this over $2. After more than a decade of supporting this place, the way this was handled left a really bad impression. The food has always been good, but the customer service during this interaction was extremely poor. I won't be back.

I'm from California and I know good Mexican food, and the kitchen here absolutely delivers. Every meal I've had has been excellent. Honestly, the food is the only reason I've continued coming back. Unfortunately, the service is unbelievably bad, and after four visits I can't call it a bad night anymore. Every time I've eaten inside, we were seated almost immediately and then basically forgotten about. It has taken 20-30 minutes just to get drinks, and one time we waited around 45 minutes before we could even place our food order. The restaurant wasn't slammed either. The strangest part is that nobody seems willing to help unless your table is specifically in their section. I've asked other employees for help and literally been told, "That's not my section." Meanwhile, they'll walk right past empty glasses without helping. Refills are almost nonexistent even after asking multiple times. They have also managed to get my drink wrong every single time. I ordered unsweetened tea and received Pepsi, then sweet tea, and eventually water. It became ridiculous. I thought maybe takeout would solve the service problem. Nope. My order was supposed to be ready at 6:14 PM. I didn't get it until 6:35. Nobody was even working the takeout counter when I arrived. Another customer who was also waiting finally had to go find someone. When an employee eventually came over, I gave them my name. They repeated my name back to me and told me my food wasn't ready. The problem? I could literally see the bag sitting there with my name clearly on it. Four visits. Three dine-in experiences and now a takeout experience. The service has been consistently terrible every single time. The kitchen deserves a ton of credit because the food really is excellent. But whoever is managing the front of the restaurant seriously needs to fix the service. 5 stars for the food. 1 star for the service. 2 stars overall.
