Lava Salsa Avocado Molcajete Special Dinner

First time having Mexican food in Georgia and we weren't disappointed! The staff were welcoming and super helpful throughout our visit. They had a few games going on as well as music playing but it's was still family friendly. The food was delicious, we went for the molcajete's and very good, my dad loved it. Next time I'm out here visiting my dad we'll be back !

The best Mexican food I've had in between Germany, North Carolina and the Pooler/Sav Area! Incredibly fresh food, not greasy at all, AMAZING salsa and very friendly costumer service. Don't waste your time on Jalapeño or other places, come straight here to get the good stuff

New restaurant, I think they have only been open a month or two when we came for dinner. Food was below average, lacking seasoning, and many errors in service. - Served Beer Rita Margarita on rocks instead of frozen as ordered. I asked them to remake a frozen for me. - Served flour tortillas instead of corn as ordered - Molcajete served with ranchero sauce instead of tomatillo sauce as ordered - Molcajete ordered medium hot but served mild Overall the food was bland. Everything needed salt, including the chips and salsa. Molcajete was bland. Children's chicken fingers were worse than McDonalds, which isn't good. Beer Rita was served with full size beer turned upside down in margarita, and it was big drink, but just average flavors. The rim had very little salt on rim of glass. Wife ordered El Pastor street tacos. They were just ok. Of interesting note, there is a power outlet at most, if not all, tables. The outlet includes both 120VAC and USB ports to enable you to stay awhile and keep phone charged. It's a nice touch for those that wish to hang out. The restaurant is owned by same owners as El Ranchito which is one highway exit north on I-95. One of the staff wore the El Ranchito shirt, which caused me to be suspicious and ask. I am hoping they improve as this location gets more experience.

The best Mexican in Georgia hands down! Yummy micheladas and shrimp fajitas. Come here with the family like once a week!

House made guacamole! So fresh so amazing!

It is unlike any other Mexican restaurant in Savannah. They were Covid compliant mask off when eating. We ordered 3 Texas style margaritas on the rocks. They were so fresh and delicious. They make their own margarita mix daily it makes a huge difference! We first ordered the house made guacamole. It was so fresh with tomato, avocado, red onions, jalapeños it was very delicious. The chips were fresh and made perfectly not over cooked. I ordered the Carnitas dinner and it did not disappoint it was the most delicious tender pork moist and juicy and the rice was so different lightly spiced and had seasoned carrots in it, it was so good. My daughter ordered the Carnitas flour tacos and she was extremely happy and said absolutely the best carnitas she's had in a long time. The food and service 100% amazing . The decor very very nicely decorated and clean! . I can't wait to go back!

Love their food! Staff is super friendly. Love their salsa and queso! I usually get the Texas rice. Only feedback or disappointment, if the meal such as my favorite comes with steak, chicken and shrimp, they should make sure there is more than 2 shrimp on the plate. Food was great, but this happened twice. Other than that a great spot! Very cozy!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've had in a long time. Food was delicious and hot. Drinks were also very good. The customer service was great. I would definitely recommend.

Carne asada was extremely chewy. Beans were ok. Prices are reasonable but wasn't impressed with the food.

Yes, and definitely yes! Tequila and tacos--how can you possibly go wrong?…read more We grabbed seats at the bar, looked over the menu, and I immediately ordered a tequila soda with jalapeños. If you enjoy a little spice in your cocktail, I highly recommend it. Since we were only in town for one night, we planned on hopping around downtown and trying several different places, so we kept it simple and ordered three tacos to share. There were quite a few tempting options on the menu, and every taco we tried was delicious. Looking back, we honestly should have just stayed here all night eating tacos and drinking tequila because none of the other places we visited afterward lived up to this experience. The atmosphere was bright, lively, and fun, with a great location right on the boardwalk. Between the food, drinks, and overall vibe, this ended up being one of our favorite stops of the trip. We'll absolutely be returning the next time we're in town. After experiencing some of the other disappointing spots downtown, this place made us realize we probably didn't need to go anywhere else.

Margaritas were tasty with lots of flavors to choose from. We tried the chips and dip trio. Guacamole was amazing and so was the queso. The salsa we had was okay but would probably choose something different next time we visit. Everyone loved their tacos with everyone having a taste of something different. We finished it off with churros which were just as great as the ones in Disney! Our waiter was very friendly and had good recommendations for tacos to try! It wasn't too busy when we first got there but picked up as the night went on! I recommend for a solid girls night or anyone wanting some great margaritas and tacos!

My Cozy Go-To for Date Night Vibes…read more I love this place so much, it has officially earned a permanent spot on our date night rotation. Órale Tacos + Tequila has everything I want in a restaurant: comfort, good food, and people who make you feel like you're right at home. My husband and I are hooked on their American-style quesadillas--mine with shrimp, his with chicken--and let me just say, the portions are generous and they somehow taste even better the next day! Moffie (I hope I'm spelling her name right) is usually our server and she is just the sweetest soul. Always smiling, always kind, and just a pleasure to see. But then... there's JAZMINE. I don't know where she learned how to make an Old Fashioned, but I never want it made by anyone else again. Her hands are blessed. Seriously, I get happy when I walk in and see her behind the bar. The very first time we came, she was experimenting with a jalapeño drink and asked if I wanted to try it--it was FABULOUS. Since then, she's just had that "it" factor. Warm, creative, and magnetic. One time we came in and she wasn't working, and I genuinely felt a little sad! But the time before that, we hugged as soon as we saw each other. That says everything. This place has heart. From the food to the cocktails to the people who make the experience so special, Órale is more than just a restaurant--it's a vibe. A cozy, joyful, delicious vibe. Can't wait for our next visit!

While staying at Hotel Indigo this location is just a few minutes of a walk away. I went twice…read more First for dinner where I enjoyed the orale fajitas nachos. I asked them to add Refried beans and ordered more sour cream and guacamole on the side. The beans were on the bottom while I was told they would be on top - a little hard to spot and taste. We went around 8:30 PM EST and it wasn't busy. We were seated right away and the servers where attentive. Music was playing and it wasn't too loud. It was low enough to still have a conversation. My mother only ordered one taco with guacamole on the side. I found the food flavorful. So much so, I took my cousins back the next evening after a ghost city haunted pub crawl for late bites. Even though there is a completely different menu for late evening, everyone (group of seven) said they enjoyed what they ordered (various dips and tacos). Perfect for drunken cravings! We were also seated immediately during this late night visit. I would definitely return if I find myself in the area again.
