No where it's 1/2 pound bean & cheese burrito WTH

What's the point of being a Del Taco rewards member when you get cheated on. They're also selling your information to data broker SMDH. I got reward points to redeem a 1/2 pound bean and cheese burrito and turns out it weighs more than .30 at best. Shame on the older lady manager for the shrinkage making my burrito. Now you know why business fails, and you lose a lot of your loyal customers because you're cheating your customers or cost-cutting. It's sad I even gave high praise to the older gentleman manager, saying they got the best bean and cheese burrito at this location. If Del Taco were to shutter I wouldn't miss it that much, since you can buy a boat load of frozen burrito's from Costco LMAO. (I also ordered other things too but they were garbage their tortillas were so hard that day) Adios Del Taco comida no bueno, mucho dinero.

I went through the drive-thru today and the line move up pretty fast. I ordered just one Asada Street Taco. The service was quick and friendly. ASADA STREET TACO : I'm not sure what they marinate these meat with but it's yellow. The seasoning reminds me of a slight curry taste. Which is a bit odd. I wouldn't recommend this taco to anyone. It's not that great. The meat was also very salty and tough. RATE : 2/5 OVERALL : I wouldn't recommend coming here if you are craving for authentic mexican food. This place is an americanize version of mexican food and it won't hit the spot. Flavoring is not that great too. Even Taco bell taste better.

What happened to the rest of the filling?

Underportioned, overpriced and underwhelming. Tried the carnitas burrito they've been advertising. Flavor was less than mild. Filling of cheese, beans and carnitas didn't come close to filling the tortilla. Meat only lukewarm. Cheese didn't melt. Added hot sauce but still no flavor. Restroom's toilet could use a vigorous scrub. Store looked clean in parking lot. Clerk at drive thru was nice enough. 4.99 for such a small, flavorless burrito def not worth it.

The dude and I came to Del Taco for a quick lunch on 9/23/21 as since I had only an hour lunch break it needed to be something QUICK. I have only came to this location about one time. I am usually a Del Taco fan and enjoyed their Turkey tacos which was so tasty for me but they discontinued it to add the Impossible Meat so I stopped going. I would use to customize my Nachos to add the Turkey meat so delicious and one of my favorites. But anyways, the dude has been seeing so many commercials about the new Quesadilla Tacos in Asada, Grilled and Crunchy Chicken and wanted to try it. He is so easily swayed by food commercials but it is fun to give the new products a try and rate them! We arrived about 12:15pm and it wasn't that busy at all. We ordered the new Dulce De Leche Milkshake which the worker was confused on their own product and finally realized "Oh the Carmel Shake". Well yeah it's called Dulce De Leche on the menu xD but whatever. We ordered One Grilled Chicken and One Crunchy Chicken Quesadilla Tacos along with Two Asada Quesadilla Tacos and the dude got the Value nachos which looked like crap but tasted fresh and decent. I was not happy with the presentation as it just looked like they threw the beans, green chile and cheese sauce up there without care! 2/10. The flavor was on point. The Grilled Chicken Quesadilla Tacos 8/10 was huge and filling! It was tasty and paired well with their mild salsa sauce packets. I would honestly get it again. I was not too big on their Crunchy Chicken as it is just a two deep fried chicken tenders, very underwhelming for sure 7/10 and i'm being nice. The staff experience was minimal it just feels like everyone is in a rush these day so the customer service wasn't that great. I understand it is drive thru but JEEZ! Overall, i'm like luke warm on returning. Del Taco is good! But I honestly prefer my authentic restaurants better than fast food Mexican food. I won't say "I'll never return" but it is like on my bottom of the list. Not a bad experience but it wasn't the best. The dude loved the experience but "I'll pass" it won't be one of my ideas to return.

Where did I go to get a burger on national burger day? Del taco of course! I tried a cheeseburger from del taco years ago and found it pretty disgusting, something akin to a McDonald's cheeseburger. (Not that there isn't a time and place for one of those.) I got a double cheeseburger yesterday and honestly it's one of my favorite burgers now. It looked truly unimpressive when I opened the packaging, but it was delicious. I also tried their new crunchy chicken taco with habanero flavor. It was completely unnecessary and devoid of anything worth mentioning. Their other options were amazing as usual. Lastly, I ordered delivery for the first time. Turns out they partner with door dash. My order arrived about 30 minutes later than initially projected. Everything was lukewarm at best and none of the crunchy things were crunchy. I won't get delivery again.

Our friend is 3/4 lava monseter asked for a hotter salsa and they were happy to do so. This is where I mentioned that I live life with a service doggo. This place gets 4 paws up! No issues, the floor is clean and there is room for my girl under the tables. The food came out after a short wait. Oh, my! The burrito was huge! And looked so good! My plate came out and was also very delicious looking. We dug in and the table got real quiet. The kind of quiet that settles in when people are busy feeding their pie holes with good food. The hubs really enjoyed his burrito and while tge relleno was good, it wasnt my thing. But the beast and rice were lit! Some of the best I've ever had! I love the chili relleno, and the chicken tacos, so I got the 2 item combo with rice and beans and added the bowl of soup I wanted, chicken tortilla soup. Another amazing dinner. Next time we will try breakfast! Just for a change!

This place is officially bookmarked for every future drive through Fresno!…read more The lengua and chicharrón tacos were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!
