We went to this Del Taco around six-thirty pm. The line was average and went by pretty fast as usual. We ordered to go from the drive thru and happily received our food. We took it home and opened up the bags and passed out the bold burritos, chicken soft tacos, (Which are my fave) and a Street Tacos Plato. My Dad (Who ordered the Plato) was looking for the salsa he paid extra for... Nothing, but the only bag we haven't checked was the chip bag and after all the chips were eaten, there lies the untouched salsa... I guess it could have been mistaken for chips and salsa, but at the bottom of the bag, really? I subtracted two stars because 1. the food is not worth 5 stars, of course its "fast food", and two because, the salsa placed at the bottom of the bag after the bag was filled half way with chips and, we had NO forks or napkins. Was very rude while taking order and paying and still ended up getting order wrong with terrible food being served and no queso

I go there just about every morning and get greeted by friendly staff and the manager always cares about the cleanliness of the establishment. I understand that mix ups can happen here and there anywhere we go, but here that rarely happens. This location is a 24hr location and is always busy and at times it can take a bit longer than usual, but well worth the extra few minutes when order is given to me. Since they opened up this new Del Taco, customer service has been disappointing! Especially the drive-thru! Every single time I go to the drive-thru there's like 7-10 cars and the line moves extremely slow! I don't know if they're short staffed or they just don't care, but it doesn't seem like they're trying to do anything to fix the situation. I'll go with they probably don't care because when I have gone before, the employees at the window are usually giggling, chatting it up with each other. My family loves Del Taco but not this one. We have been here multiple times because it is close to home but I tell you what they know how to disappoint. We have received our stuff cold, wrong and missing. They place is also filthy on the inside most of the time. If you are in a hurry don't go here! My wife just sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes and still received her food wrong. That's not the first time we have waited over 30 minutes here for our food. Ugh, what is going on with this place!? For one thing, the parking lot design is just plain stupid. The have a curb that sharply juts out for no reason, so when you turn right from Ontario into the drive-thru, its likely you will run over it or jump the curb. Messed up my order on multiple occasions or forgot items and I've had to return to pick them up or fix my order. Employees are generally nice but not too well-trained especially the younger ones. I ordered Xtra cheese on two burritos and got typical burritos that surely were waiting for anyone to come along and order any burrito. Because thats what i got a cold, ordinary, no Xtra Cheese burritos from BRIANNA (Host) & ESPERANZA (Casher). Obviously this manager, host, and cashier at store #1168 have no quality control. I have given this location three tries now. I am done. Last time they never gave me my drink! But hey...that happens, right. But this has to be the slowest moving Del Taco I have ever frequented. Took me nearly ten minutes sitting at the window for one small breakfast burrito to be made. I watched as the drive thru attendant took orders and served the counter instead. Drove through at about 630 tonight and the service was fast and super friendly; we are custom order everything and the girl taking our order was patient and nice throughout the entire ordering process. Just bought a 1/2 lbs. breakfast burrito and a $1.29 burrito. They looked exactly the same so I thought it might be a mistake. I eat lunch here an average of about twice a week. I've only had a problem a small handful of times. I love their value menu. I mean where can you get a meal for under $3 and if you use the coupon you get with every meal you will save a $1. Most of the staff is friendly. They recently moved the ice tea behind the counter since too many people try to rip them off and order the $1 tea and then get soda. I don't blame them for moving it. I had a bad experience a few weeks ago early on a Sunday and the (male) manager on duty could not have cared less. Took 18 minutes to get my food (at 10 :30 a.m.) while 4 employees were on break/lunch together. Mis-management. Also I got food for a co-worker and took it back. It was wrong. When she went back to the store he gave her a free drink for her trouble but he should have returned her money as well. However, the manager during lunch during the week is very good. She makes the staff hustle and food is ready quickly. I like the new value Salsa Fresca Chicken Taco. The chicken roll up is just okay. Kind of skimpy. I usually get a mix of a standard taco; soft chicken taco; small value bean and cheese burrito with green sauce; or salsa fresca taco. I love their green sauce! I will continue to eat here. I went a couple weeks ago and got a cheese quesadilla because I was craving it. I got home and the quesadilla had no cheese in it and was filled with green sauce. Disgusting, I didn't even eat it. Went through this drive-thru at 11:21pm and the heavy guy wuth dark hair who was working the window was just rude and seemed like we were bothering him. After waiting in the drive-thru for over 20 minutes, you'd think he'd at least be pleasant when we got to the window, but he didn't greet us at all...just held out his hand and gave us our total. Placed our drinks on the counter without saying a word until we looked up at him and them he handed them to us. When we asjed for more condiments he asked us how many more we needed and when we said a handful of each, he got a bigger attitude and seemed even more annoyed. He was a pure asshole and not what we expected after waiting so long in their drive-thru. They make you wait forever and make no apologies for it.... then have the nerve to have an attitude with their customers? The nerve. In the future we'll find somewhere else to eat. This is my 3rd visit as i figured being newly opened that things would get better, yeah right i will drive to McKinley location even though its 15 minutes further to drive. From cold to smaller portions than any other del taco to using way too much salt on their fries and the wait will take you longer than driving the 15 minutes to the next location.
