Food is terrible. Ordered white chicken bowl with avocado, brown rice and vegetables and was told I had to wait 7 minutes. My chicken was not fresh at all. It was actually hard as if it had been reheated in a microwave. Vegetable was vastly undercooked. Avocado was hard in texture. This is my local Flame Broiler. I usually walk in but today I was on my way home from work, stuck in traffic, tired and did not want to get home and cook for everyone. I called in my order the girl I spoke to was very pleasant. I actually arrived a few minutes early and was greeted warmly , told her my name and she handed me my order. It was hot and ready! It was so hot today and I didn't feel like cooking. We were craving something with teriyaki so we decided to have Flame Broiler for dinner. The ladies there are always friendly. They are now charging 15% more if you order the angus beef or half and half. They are always consistent with the food when we come here. The chicken is always tender and veggies are cooked perfectly. I love that they offer brown rice. They also have a low carb bowl now. The magic sauce is magical! They now sell their magic sauce in a bottle at the store for $5.95. Best believe I got a bottle. The portion size on their bowls have decreased which is sad. I recall when I use to not be able to finish a bowl cause it was packed to the top. I definitely prefer them over Waba Grill. read more

This is not a reflection of their food. We came at 1104 on a Sunday. They still had the doors locked. Waited outside for 15 min. Called, knocked and peeked through the windows. We saw multiple workers in the back but they never acknowledged the customers waiting outside their door. Another worker finally walked to the door from the outside and when asked if they were going to open her reply was in another 10 min cause we had a no show. Now hear me out.... I'm not unreasonable. I understand people are having a hard time getting people to work. However, she proceeded to walk in and lock the door and pull down the shade so nobody could see in. There were at least 6 customers that I saw that came and left. I returned and ordered. My meal was $40. This can't be good business. The store is also not set up. There are still tables that separate customers from the counter. There is no self serve packets (they ration them out by how much you spend) no napkins and the tables all had chairs stacked on top. (But you can self serve your drink) The trash cans outside the store door where 1 ft above the top and pouring over the the Pkg spots. I was "eligible" for sauce. And so many other missed opportunities for customer service. The owner is failing his employees by not providing a work environment that allows them to be successful and lastly the owner has failed its customers by eliminating a comfortable environment that people want to enjoy their food and surroundings. If Covid safety is the goal.... Clean the trash that is spilling over that you have step over to get into the store. I always choose Flame broiler over a WaBa but I will think twice before I drive from Indian Truck Trail again. read more

Well I got the food ( I didn't pick it up someone did tell pick up for me) and there was NO magic sauce. The rice was a little hard in spots and very dry. The chicken was also dry. I have to admit I've been a Flame Broiler fan for 10+ years. I have never really thought about a review, but it's time. During Covid I've renewed my love for Flame Broiler. Honestly, they have never let me down. I probably grab 3-4 bowls a week during my lunch breaks. 5 stars don't come easy but I've have never been disappointed with my order. That in itself qualifies for a 5 star rating. Not to mention the location is clean and sanitary. Feel free to order in comfort. Here is my order of choice and I never waiver! * Regular Bowl * Brown Rice * Half and Half * No Veggies or Green Onions * 1 Magic Sauce, 1 Hot Sauce Since the Pandemic I'm not able to dine in but I do walk in often. My order is taken really quick and I never wait more than 10 minutes to receive my take out. The staff are polite and accommodating. If you download the Fivestars App you can accumulate points for free items. One point per dollar. Other than that there is really not much to report. Every bowl I devour I'm satisfied af! This all comes down to why you go here. If you want a healthy, tasty treat that won't disappoint hit this place up. If you are looking for fatty, cheat meal this is not the place to go. I love pretty much all things on this menu, in pretty much any combination. A small bowl will hit the spot for most. I would highly recommend getting the rice split with veggies and the beef. Won't be back to this location, we have been loyal customers for years, and have ordered food for the family on a weekly basis from here. Because of the restrictions I've started calling my order in and picking it up, never had a problem until today. When i asked Adriana for sauce she said i could get as much as i want myself from the self serve and pointed me in the direction. i wouldn't have been as irritated If: 1. She hadn't just provided premade sauce to the person before me. 2. She didn't provide sauce to the man after me. 3. They don't make you wear face masks to enter, yet allow people to touch the sauce container and forks 4. There wasn't a fly swimming in the sauce. I'm sad because the other employees that I have encountered have always been super nice and professional, i think Adriana is just lazy! Everything is always stocked coed up and wiped down, not messy and sticky like other locations I have visited. My food is always hot and tasty. And the customer service is great. They don't listen. I ordered a no sauce bowl with white rice only and informed them that it is a gluten allergy . I drive all the way home.. and there is sauce and veggies. I had to drive all the way back because my daughter will get very I'll if she eats the sauce. They did replace it but offered nothing for the inconvenience. Healthy yummy fast food! I like getting myself a nice mini bowl of chicken with brown rice, green onions and veggies without any MSG. I think it's so funny how they emphasize that their food has NO MSG. Any way, I like that I can get a mini bowl instead of a regular bowl size bc I seriously get full off a mini. It's not a huge mini bowl, but it is for me. No worries folks, because you can get a box size of food if you don't want a bowl either. For fast food I also like this place because I don't feel bloated after eating (my mini bowl) and I feel healthy at the same time. Service is quick so you'll get out in a jiff! read more

The rating is for this franchise specifically. Flame broiler over all I'm a huge fan in fact we get it regularly. Not here again. Other day I placed a phone order, verified they take cards, yes they do. Got there waited in a ten min line, for what reason I'm not sure. That being said got up there. Gave my name she grabbed my bag and then the fun started. She ran my card. It's not working. Well there's no reason it shouldn't. She overly irritated ran it again. Then starts yelling at me. You have cash? No can you try to use the card. She ran it again then while facing me yells at the guy behind her it's broken again call them it's broken (still yelling directly at me while attempting to yell at guy in the kitchen) the yelling continued until I suggest rebooting card reader she says hold on then starts taking people behind me. Saying there's a line. Well yeah there's a line I just waited in a long line to get to register to get my food I understand how that works. Then she's back to helping me. Still yelling towards me at the guy in back. She runs card again and again and again saying we have to reboot it. "It happens all the time" (still running my card) "I don't remember what buttons to push" again runs my card. Then walks off starts helping another person again. Then yells at me why don't you have cash??? I looked at her and said because you said I could use a card. I don't carry cash. Soo at this point literally over 20 min in with her admitting that the machine doesn't work right, she says hold on, runs card again and again and again then starts writing my card number down. I say stop-what are you doing? She says writing your card down I said I don't want you to write my card down she said why it's no problem. I said yes it is a problem, I've had multiple problems with skimming plus why not ask before assuming it's ok. Can you attempt to fix the reader where again she starts yelling at the guy again while facing me. Then runs my card again with my protest. Then she looks at me says you have cash?? (Because yes I suddenly developed cash while standing here) I say again I don't have cash. Then she says I don't know. Took my food set it in kitchen and says next. Next?? Really?? Seriously?? 20+ min in and you dismiss me?? Best part about it? card did go through multiple times. Chase deactivated my card for fraud. So now no food over half an hour wasted and now no card and her being beyond irritated and rude the whole time? Then two days later when I saw the charge called the bank they put an investigation on it and she said that I did get my food and am trying to basically get a free meal? No I'm not going to go to all this trouble for two bowls get real. Thanks so much for wasting my time, having to wait for a new card, having to go in to the bank to get cash since I have no card now. For future reference- a customer that is attempting to pay and your equipment isn't working? Comp the 2 bowls for their inconvenience of waiting over 20 min and wasting their time, especially when they phone ordered to save time. I won't be back to this one. Sad as I like flame broiler. The owner lady needs customer service lessons. Sometimes it's Profitable to your business to NOT scream in your customers face, or at your staff for that matter, treat your customers like you want them to come back.
