I recently visited Jimmy John's in Norco, CA, and it was a quick, satisfying stop for a fresh sandwich especially after working out at LA Fitness across the street. It's one of those places that's perfect when you want something simple, fast, and consistently good and on the healthier side. The service really stood out during this visit. They are currently have a meal deal in which I got a #4 Turkey Tom with a side of chips, and a drink for just $8.99 plus tax. What a deal! I placed my order of and got my order within minutes. This is the southern most outpost for Jimmy John's in the IE. For some reason, they closed all the stores south of here, all the way to the North County boarder. Grrr. That said, this is a pretty solid location. I came in around five o'clock midweek and as their advertising says: "Sandwiches so Fast, you'll Freak!" Mission Accomplished for me, I brought along a cooler and a freeze pack to store for the hour long drive back. LOL I ordered a #9 Italian and it was tasty and good. Great app perks! I'm a newbie at jimmy johns it was a great first experience. Was picking up a target order and stopped in for a sandwich. Got some free extras to go with it. On the app it was free pickle day and on Yelp it was a free cookie with check in. The whole pickle was particularly enjoyable because it had that surprising kick of spice at the end. Juicy and crunchy all good. The sandwich was perfectly sized for what I was wanting at that time. Just right! The bread had that little bite to the crust and soft pillowy interior to hold everything in its place. Fresh ingredients made it desirable good to the last bite. Clean, organized and friendly. Jimmy John's sandwiches are really good--super tasty with fantastic bread that totally makes the meal. The bowtie pesto pasta salad is also a good side option if you're looking for something extra. My one wish? A little more meat on the sandwich would take it to the next level. That said, it's still a great sandwich overall, and bonus points for not being messy. Disappointed Experience at Jimmy John's in Corona (Hamner Ave) - 04/06/2025 5 stars for all the good times (minus this one) as I may not go back. I typically enjoy Jimmy John's, but my recent experience at the Corona location on Hamner Ave was disappointing. We placed a mobile order on Sunday, April 6th around 1:30 PM and timed it so the food would be ready when we arrived. As we were turning into the shopping center, I received a call from the store informing us that they were out of bread due to a catering job. It was frustrating, especially since we had already paid and were just a minute away. I understand these things can happen, but the alternative offered was to have our three sandwiches (a ~$45 order) made wrap-style--which we don't prefer, especially at the same price. I politely asked if we could at least be comped a small wrap, chips, or cookie just to hold us over since we were hungry and now had to drive another 20 minutes to find something else. The employee was kind and said they would ask the manager. Unfortunately, the answer was a firm "no." Not even a discounted wrap or a snack--just a refund, which, as of April 8th, is still pending. It left a bad taste in our mouths (figuratively and literally). I'm all for understanding when inventory issues come up, but some level of customer service, flexibility, or goodwill--especially when someone is standing outside your store--goes a long way. Dang, had I seen Ron H review, I would have gone to Roll-Em-Up. I'm gonna have to try that place out. Why did I give them 5 stars. I have to believe that they are usually really good because I have ordered 100's of sandwiches from them, usually 10-15 at a time for the office. Maybe the manager was just having a rough day. Maybe ownership or management changed. I don't know--but this wasn't the Jimmy John's I've supported for years. I may not go back, but if I do and the experience repeats, I'll have to reevaluate. Used to have this in Wisconsin daily during a summer job and I've missed it. When they first started coming out to California I tried it and eh it was ok...not the same. My experience at Jimmy John's in Norco this past Sunday was the best. I placed my order on the app. Highly recommend ordering through the app, you are able to collect points for free food and redeem coupons. When I walked in, I was greeted by all the staff and they informed me that they were working on my order. All the staff members were wearing gloves and masks; which was a plus for me. The attention to detail from the staff is the best. They made sure every sandwich was made to perfection; they lined up the cheese, deli meats. Very well balanced sandwich. I went there on Saturday night, at 6 pm, supposedly most food businesses busiest nights. I made an order online. When I got there to get my order it was closed, no one, employees or otherwise were inside. Their Jimmy John's App did not tell me they were closed. Beware if you order online from this place! I intend to avoid them in the future due to this. Come here all the time and never had a bad experience. Sandwiches are always super good. Love their crunchy chips too. Even my picky ass kids love their sandwiches and say their subs are the best. I like ordering their vegetarian sub for myself and I get the kids the "slim sandwich" which is perfect for their smaller hands and mouths. When I came in today, social distancing measures were adequately in effect and all personnel were wearing face masks. Signage on the door was adequate. Extremely disappointed. The past several visits my order was made incorrectly and I just let it go. This evening I picked up a sandwich and of course it was made incorrectly again. I didn't notice until I got home so this time I decided to call and speak with the manager. The manager gets on the phone I explained to him that I had a food allergy to tomatoes and had asked for no tomatoes. I also paid the additional amount to get cheese as well but didn't get any cheese. No big deal right? He proceeds to tell me he will give me 98 cent credit for my next visit. Complete joke... The correct way to handle this would be to offer making a new sandwich to pick up or to offer a credit for a new sandwich at the next visit. I am giving them a 5 rating because of jacks service at this location! My boyfriend ordered a BLT and apparently they don't cook (or reheat) the meat.. so it's a cold bacon sandwich... ok??? lol I have never heard of a cold BLT.... oh well no problem.. I kept refreshing it to see if they would say when the food was ready or if I'd get an email confirming and nope nothing so I walked in 20 mins after I ordered it and turns out my food had been sitting there waiting...is it really that hard on their end for them to confirm when the order is ready? Just got 2 sandwiches from here. My husband said his food was good. I order a number #16 with avocado sires. There was no meat (turkey on one half of the sandwich (really) no avocado spread. A whole head of lettuce which is unnecessary. Slow down making your sandwiches an you might have a good sandwich. Tossed it in the trash after a few bites.. fast is nit what I came here for. Fast, Friendly, Clean and Yummy! I have been frequenting this Jimmy John's for some time now. I eat here between 2-5 times per week, because I a creature of habit and the food is so fresh and yummy. I have to say I love Jimmy Johns over all the other sandwich places. The food is fresh, it is delicious and great value. I love the sandwiches, the chips and the cookies. The sandwiches are made of fresh baked bread and no skimping on the sandwich filling at all. All the ingredients are always so fresh as well. When you walk in you are greeted with a Hello or Welcome to Jimmy Johns. Your order is taken quickly and efficiently by the nicest people ever. The employees here are truly amazing at how fast they can make a sandwich and how consistent the food is every single time. It does not matter if they are busy or slow. Everyone is nice and helpful and they work their tails off here. No one stands around not working, even when they are not busy with customers they are doing something such as restocking, baking bread, cleaning etc. The place is clean, I have never seen it dirty at all. So while my situation is a little different in that I go here a lot and they all seem to know me now and my order may be started when they see me in the parking lot, I am also in there enough to see if these other problems people complain about are true. No I am not a paid reviewer, nor am I getting any type of compensation for this review. Now they have a rewards program I am super jazzed. For a fresh sandwich, great chips and the best chocolate chip cookies with great friendly service and a nice clean place with great air conditioning in the summer, stop by this location. In the meantime, we had to wipe down our own table, so it's not the cleanest either. How fast is a fast Jimmy John's you ask? Your shandwhiches are done by the time you finish paying!
