This was my first time trying Del Taco, and it was a really pleasant experience. I ordered inside, and there was plenty of seating available, which made it comfortable to dine in. I had the bean and cheese burrito with green sauce, a chicken quesadilla, and the mini churros. Everything tasted great, and my order was prepared exactly as requested. Well looks like the tariffs are hitting Del taco badly the Taco Tuesday use to be somewhat decent, but not this Tuesday. The tacos pretty much had nothing in them. I have always liked the del beef burrito because it was beef and sauce and cheese. It appears that del taco has decided to add refried beans to the ingredients of this burrito, I guess if this is the way this is to be served, I won't be ordering it again. The last thing I would to comment on is learning the proper way to roll a burrito so the ingredients don't all come flowing out the end of the burrito and all over my hands and the surface is was eating over, good thing I had the paper wrapper well positioned to catch around half of my food. read more

Tim the Manager was amazing. We have been coming to town for the past 12 months and the difference we have seen is amazing.

This isn't the first time I've not gotten what I've paid for, but this is the first time I've bothered to take photos & write a review. After not having eaten for close to 28 hours due to an extremely busy personal schedule, I decided to grab a quick meal from Del Taco -- A quesadilla, 2 hard shell tacos, and a macho drink. I don't have any pictures of the quesadilla & I can't comment on how it tasted because when the bag of food was handed to me sideways through the drive-thru window, it fell out of the bag and landed--splat--on the asphalt. When the person working the drive-thru saw that, they (I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble or fired, so their name & sex is being withheld) shrugged their shoulders and said "It's outta my hands". So there went $3.29 + tax. The tacos I got weren't much better. I ordered two Del Tacos w/o lettuce, but with extra cheese. What I got were two value tacos with next to nothing inside (see pictures). I decided to put the meat & cheese into one shell, but even then it wasn't very much --- the meat from the two tacos didn't amount to as much as is usually found in one Del Taco, and the amount of cheese was pitiful. Thankfully, I had some cheese at home that I shredded & added to it. I would give zero stars if I could; the 2 stars I do give is for my soda, which--surprise, surprise-- wasn't flat & the 17 packets of hot sauce. read more

I love del taco, but after my recent experiences. I am not happy with them. MIKE IS TERRIBLE AND SHOULD NOT WORK THERE. He is upset with the shifts that he works and is terrible at what he does. He yells at everyone as he orders through the microphone before anyone gets a chance to say anything to him. Unfortunately this is my second experience with him acting like this, therefore I am taking action. He is a terrible employee, and talks back to everyone that comes through. I am afraid that he has messed with my food. He forgot one of our food items last time we went through, so we went back to get our missing food and he said he was on a 5 minute break. I had high hopes for finding great food here. I only found alright food. That shocks me in a way because they (supposedly) make the beans in house/hours of cooking. They are the blandest I have ever had. Adding salt, pepper and various taco sauces at the table didn't help. Other food items are prepared fresh and in-house. Fish tacos are good and mine had two small pieces of battered fish on each with a mild sauce that I think is another in- house creation. Strawberry milk shakes are good but you can hardly use the straw because of the big chunks of strawberries. Grab a spoon and dig in. The manager is funny and friendly. He keeps a clean dining area. He told one employee to wipe down all white tiles. None of the white tiles in my view were dirty, but that's how you KEEP them from getting dirty. Good job manager. Join their email/rewards club and they will send you a coupon for a free shake on your birthday and email you various coupons throughout the year. read more

What was NOT okay is that the woman at the cash register wore no mask neither did the young woman handing the bags through the drive-by window. This Del Taco is the best! I've lived in California for most of my life and tried a thousand Del Taco's over the years and have to say this location to be the very best. The food is prepared perfectly and always consistent. Finding a decent crunchy, ground beef taco in Lake Havasu can be a challenge for sure, at least here they do it right. The combo burritos, bacon cheese burgers are the bomb. Some local owned restaurants could learn a lesson from here, flavor, quality and value. read more

there is about a 50% percent chance you'll actually get what you ordered and paid for. If you sit down to eat and you're around for at least half an hour, there is ALWAYS at least 1-2 people who have to complain to the staff to fix their order. The employees absolutely do not care. and when you do get your food, it's sloppy. 25% of the time hot items are served lukewarm or cold. There's no quality control, the general feeling and staff attitude when given your food is "Here's your slop, pig." Real salt in the would is we aren't even granted the dignity of getting the "slop" we paid for. This place used to always be a safe bet, now not so much. they either need new staff, new management, or both. read more
