Why does it take 10 mins to wait in line to order our food in the drive through line , then another 10 to get our food? As per other reviews the order time for drive up is way to long for fast food. Finally received our food and they have only one person making the food and one taking orders so this is the reason why!!! They have changed ownership from what I'm told and it is nothing like it used to be. I come here when I'm in town visiting my parents but won't be coming back, it is not worth the wait time. I asked the delivery driver to ring the doorbell, but it was left outside on a cold night for almost 10 minutes before I realized it had been delivered. The dining room was recently closed for about a month, because they said they were short of staff. Now, they should close again. The place was filthy, both in front of and behind the counter. Just totally disgusting. The 29-YO manager (I know because she has a big mouth) did not expect any of the teen employees to stay off their phones. In the long periods between orders, no effort at all was made to clean up the place a little, remove trash from the tables, restock the sauces, or maintain the drink station. Do you think the corporate office would look into this location? No, that's not gonna happen. I have lived in this area for 12 years and for the last six years I have gone to this Del taco on a regular basis. As of the last two years, it has gone downhill to the point where I really believe it can't get any worse they would be better off if they just close the doors. Lobby was open at 1125 so we walk in to order. Took about 15 minutes for our order to be taken. Wait another 15 minutes for our order to be called. No big deal. Not in any type of hurry. So we are sitting there enjoying our day when more people come into the lobby to order food. We strike up conversation with other patrons. Life is good. Then a woman comes out from the back yelling that "the lobby is closed. Lock the doors, lobby is closed". Well this sweet little girl keeps pushing the door open to let people in who are knocking on the door to get in. She had the best customer service in that place and she didnt even work there. Couldn't have been more than 10 years old. Food was absolute s#$%, I dont expect much but damn could the food at least be fresh. Fries should be hot when eating in the lobby. Decided to walk in and get a combination burrito and a Carne Asada taco. The staff were OK, and there were no customers eating inside. It was slow, and I soon discovered why. The taco and burrito looked nothing like the pictures. It appeared that the combination burrito was actually a deflated bean burrito, refried beans, cheese, and prices of onion. Rolled up for breakfast, was met with a "we don't have hot coffee", when I asked do you have iced coffee I was told yes; then was told that the iced coffee was warm, but he could add more ice. Giving this place a one star because of their lack of efficiency and accuracy. Last time I came they forgot two of my tacos and didn't even give me a receipt. We also waited close to 40 minutes to make and receive our order. When I called they said just to mention it the next time I came. Coming from So Cal Del Taco is my absolute favorite fast food joint. This location in Prescott Valley is a poor excuse for a franchise and Corporate should step in. The employees show zero pleasantries to the customers. Actually the manager typically on duty on Sunday morning almost shows a complete disregard for her customers. The food is inconsistent at best. We tried coming here as our Sunday routine because we loved the egg burritos in CA. We gave it a more than fair try over a few months. It as so frequently disappointing. My husband and I just left this drive thru after waiting more than 20 minutes for your food. No one acknowledged we were there, we had to practically yell into the order speaker after sitting for 15 minutes just to be sure someone was even there to take our order. This was the worst Del Taco I have ever been to and I will not return. We were passing through town on our way home and thought we would grab a quick snack. We requested no cheese on our items and when we paid we saw that they had actually charged us for extra cheese. We quickly tried to get the cashier's attention and let her know that it was incorrect. She called out and let the team know of our request and then told us she had caught them before our items had been made. We requested our $1 back and it was made to sound as if it would be a monumental time-consuming task, so we let them keep the $1. We headed on our way after receiving our food only to find out that the burritos did not have cheese, but they put a huge abundant amount on our tacos. Now, in the past that would have been wonderful, but for someone who needs to stay away from cheese and misses it, it was awful! Plus it took up 2/3 of the taco. We couldn't lose time and turn around to fix this problem, so I just dug out all the cheese and ate what sad part of the taco I could, but man it sure was a disappointing and aggravating trip. I'd give this place negative rating if it let me. We ordered and 3 of the employees weren't wearing masks including the lady who waited on us. There was only one other person in there eating and when we went to sit down I looked around trying to find a clean table and they were all dirty. I commented out loud to my husband there's no clean tables and the gentleman eating said oh there never is here and during the week it's even worse! i work for Ubereats & i want to give the customers the best service possible. Del Taco is horrible with customer service in general, they always have. i've been to Del Taco maybe a few times in general without working. they are just rude to the delivery drivers & i'm sure to their regular customers too. my incident happened last night, the guy in the window looked high to the point where it took him 20 mins to give us my order at the window. first he stood there spacing out, then finally after 20 mins acknowledged that we were at the window! we asked for a specific name i was picking up, the dude could not even comprehend the name because he was so high i feel like. then he's like "ohhh ..so & so" like we were speaking some language he couldn't understand? before even going to the window, when i went to the speaker pulling up, it took him 25 mins to acknowledge us. i don't know who you guys hire in that restaurant, corporate needs to go in there or just hire better management & employees. your restaurant sucks! read more

Worst service I've ever had, dirty facility, playplace is disgusting, hours of operation dont match the website or google or usually the hours posted on the building. Employees dont give half a crap about their jobs, the customers, or the health code. Saw dead roaches on the floors a couple days in a row so you know they dont clean. Last few times I've gone they were out of several ingredients, this last time they told me their grill was broken. I haven't had a good experience at this location in years. Has improved sooooo much lately. My family used to go every Tuesday and Thursday (taco deal days) after our daughter's karate classes at Shinpu-Ren in PV. We stopped going for a long time because it seemed like every time we went something was missing or something was wrong with our order. The employees didn't seem to care or were excessively rude. This place has improved so much lately. We are still only going once a week or so since we started a new weekly routine that doesn't allow for both Tuesdays and Thursdays. Under the new management, it seems to be approving quite a bit. Our main complaint of late is that we order online to save time but our order isn't on their computer before we get there. Even when we go 30-45 minutes after placing the order online. So they have to keep refreshing their computer and don't even start for order until after we get there. The staff seems to have improved since we were going there regularly. The girl who helped us last time (Hailey?) was very nice, professional and helpful. Very disappointed and disrespected with little to no virus health precautions. To minimize covid-19 contact so we ordered and pre paid for our food online in the parking lot to be picked up at the drive up. When we drove up they told us that we had to drive to the front and come indoors to get our order. What in the? We said no we already paid and want our food at the drive in window as ordered. The woman argued and said no way we had to come in the front. Going in myself would be risking my life because of my vulnerable health so my friend went in and said only a couple of employees were wearing masks and over half the costomers were not either. I now have to worry for the next 2 weeks about possibly being exposed to the virus. Today was the highest day so far of covid virus in Prescott. Employees eating behind the counter wearing there gloves they are using to prep food. They have employee drinks without lids on the prep station. Haven't seen anyone wash hands. Def needs a health inspector to walk through. It sucks because they have a good place to play for kids and the food is ok. The employees there run off new employees, they don't clean, the food is left in the heating trays and used in the am, they tell, scream and tell customers off. We have always enjoyed going to Del Taco but we have been there twice and there computers were down se we finally made it back thru the drive thru the lady on the intercom said to hold on we waited after 10min I said hello she came back on intercom said it Will be just a second, there was five cars be hind me three of the cars backed up and left we were just about to take off thru the drive 5min more she finally took our order so we waited so long we just made the order then pulled up, there was a car sitting there waiting we waited another 5 min and we were going to leave and finally the car in front of us left and they only had a small bag, we paid for our order 4 grilled soft tacos and Double Cheese Burger with no onions meal deal, we waited again watched the drive thru lady sweep and clean then filled the fries and finally we got our order that was another 5min we didn't leave because we already paid $19 and change and finally got our order, I had to go inside because cheese burger had onions so when I went inside there was only 1 customer 4 employees I said I needed a burger with no onions she said it was going to be 10 min with only ketchup I said how about lettuce tomatoes just no onions she said it did not come with it but they can order it with some so I asked just for my refund so I had to wait for who I think was the manger making two tacos so he could refund me the place was empty it took everything out of me to be patient and not to lose it and yell finally I left with refund and went somewhere else to get a burger , never going back, they do not deserve any rating because it is less than 1. read more
