First off the guy helping couldn't get my order right at all, I don't even know what happened and how I was charged, my receipt was completely messed up. While I was waiting, looking for a clean table , every other table right now because of Covid, not one clean table anywhere, I had to go out to my car to get wipes to clean the table. He brought my orderout for myself and my young child, and I just couldn't eat it, felt gross because it was just so dirty in there, and just watching the improper handling of food. I got up and took the food and left and I wasn't going to complain. Then I decided to go back in get my money back and give the food back. So I went up and asked for a refund and I tried to explain to the manager who wouldn't even respond to why or even look up he didn't have any care, I honestly don't know how he's even a manager. I don't even think he knew he was at DelTaco. They all looked very, very ungroomed! And the girl who he called over to refund me, her name was (Nicole) she told me. She started arguing with me and telling me they are understaffed, I really don't care. Zero stars if I could. Honestly people , don't stop at this place.The service was very mediocre , kitchen super unclean. Children's play area was extremely unsanitary as well. Tried to go through the drive thru, 3 cars in front of me. After 12 minutes and one of the trucks in front drives over the curb to get out of the line. Only 1 car between me and ordering, 14 minutes more they finally get to the vehicle in front of me. Now we have been in line for 26 minutes, I finally get to order... But NO, they ask me to please wait. At this point I can finally escape the drive thru and do. 26 minutes to serve 2 cars. Don't bother. I won't be eating at any del taco's in the future. They must have the worlds slowest drive through. Once you are in the line they have a high curb, so you are stuck if there is someone behind you. read more

This fast food restaurant is run by a bunch of Mexicans that need to learn how to count. I placed an order for 15 tacos and only got 12 ! I had to call them 3 times before someone would answer the phone. The manager didn't seem too concerned the my order was shorted and told me to come in next week and she'd give me the other 3 tacos. Window cashier scooping ice in ice machine with no gloves. Ice machine cover door left open 4. No gloves on picked up sour cream container filled small container and put back on food line service counter. The food servers touched the same container with the gloves on and made food. 5. food worker with gloves on picked up plactic bags with food in the bags which were put there with worker with no gloves on and then made food. 6. Food worker with gloves on removed phone from pocket and used phone then put back in pocket and then made food. I observed this in 5 visits confronted mgt. Was told to call Corp. called corp. Listed complaint and was told I would receive call from district mgt. NO call back. Will never eat at del taco again. Who knows what other cross comtamation is present? read more

This place is totally filthy, from the bathrooms, the dining room and the play place. It smells bad as well. This is the only place that ive found in prescott valley that has a play place for kids so this was a total disappointment, its sad that the staff dont have more pride in where they work. I hope that maybe management will see these reviews and get the staff in line and get this place cleaned up, it would be nice to have an indoor place for my children play and enjoy a meal. read more

Del Taco slipped a little last year but 2018 the quality of their food greatly improved and why I have rated them 5 stars. My wife and I go to Del Taco about three times a month and the food and staff have been wonderful. Highly recommend the Prescott Vally location. read more

We almost didn't go because of the bad reviews. Really glad we went. We're vegan and wanted to try their new vegan taco with Beyond Meat. The place was super clean and everyone was so nice. Chili powder was the only thing I could taste in my tacos. We had the carbon ones, and the chili powder took over! I love the taste of onion and cilantro; I could only see them. I gave it one star for being in walking distance of our hotel, and the other star because it satisfied our late night munchies craving after a few cocktails. The food is average fast food like all the others but I am going to have to give this 5 stars because of the kid with the earplugs who took our order there on the 4th of July around noon, who was training the other kid, you where very polite, respectful and had a great attitude even working on a holiday, plus you where training another guy and stayed cool and calm.. First I was over charged. I pointed it out and the teller had to get help from the manager to get my refund. When the manager came to help I started to tell her what i was over charged on. To have her snap back at me " I know what was wrong". Never once did i get an apology just "here, this is what you were over charged." The food was horrible on top of it. Chicken soft tacos, breakfast burritos, and fat tacos are about the only thing I would get here. Quality is quite inconsistent visit to visit. You can order the same breakfast burrito on one visit and it will have ingredients in it not in it in the next visit. The drive-thru staff are somewhat more unfriendly than the in-store. I got a milk shake there a few weeks ago that had the consistency of a thick apple sauce. I actually threw it away after a couple of tastes (tasted funny, too). My family and I come here pretty frequently as we all really love their dollar five piece hash browns, granted we're pretty lucky if we actually get everything we order. This time they managed to get everything in the bag, however, our hashbrowns were downright disgusting this time. Pretty disappointing. Normally they're hot and crisp and taste like little warm salty bites of heaven. This time though they were cold, soggy, and quite honestly tasted like someone had taken a handful of dirt a d dumped it right into the oil. Then, I went for my receipt to check if there was a survey if you're lucky enough to actually be able to read your receipt you will find that you cannot actually access their survey so this makes it pretty hard to notify them of the problem without being the annoying jerk who calls in the middle of rush lunch time to complain. Finally I did it. I dialed the number amd let it ring...and ring...and keep ringing.... I did this twice and never got a response. This may be my last straw with Del Taco. read more
