We were hungry for a late night snack and when we went through the drive thru the lady working had terrible attitude and was practically yelling at us. Then she made up go back through the drive thru for another order. This is ridiculous, we were waiting in line for about 35 minutes for 2 orders of fries. Usually I do not have an issue with this Del Taco, but this is the second time in a row that I have had an issue with them. First time, I ordered a green bold burrito ( for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a bean and cheese burrito with fries and green sauce) so I go home. The employees claim their system is down on a weekly basis and that they can't serve you. Starting to get the impression they are either not working or something else is up. It only seems to happen past 9pm. This is the only del taco consistently pulling this. read more

The drive thru is not open 24 hours. It is open 23.5 hours. If you have the unfortunate luck of craving del taco at about 10pm you will be disappointed as they will be unable to take your order. Apparently the entire store system resets at this time. It took about 4 disappointing trips after work to realize this was not just bad luck. May I suggest resetting your system at 4AM? Del Taco...how could you ever say a negative thing about 9 tacos and a bean and cheese burrito for $5.86? On top of that their tacos are only like 130 calories so I get to grub them and not feel guilty. No other taco can provide that for .49 cents. The drive thru though...check your order is all I can say. It is a little bit like Vegas, you win some you lose some. One day no cheeseburger for my daughter the next trip a magical bean burrito in the bag. Their loco meals for kids have a good variety too which is a bonus as all you parents know when the one kid is screaming taco and the other is screaming cheeseburger...hey look no further Del Taco gives you both! Taco nights Tuesday gives you 3 for like $1.09 and Thursday gives you 3 Chicken tacos for like $2.00 or something. I know the tacos are .59 but they can at least have the ingredients inside. I stopped by on a Tuesday night and ordered 20 original tacos. I got up to the window to pay less than a minute later and they're already handing me bags of tacos which can only mean that the tacos were already made and sitting under a heat lamp before I even ordered them and they tasted that way too!! Once I got home and looked at the tacos, they tasted days old and there was hardly any meat, lettuce or cheese inside the taco. Not even a spoonful of each item!! I come come to this location for the convenience of my morning coffee. I use to like this place. Now when I go in the morning it looks like they never cleaned from the day before. Just a general Del Taco, good for Late night munchies but nothing to rave home about.

This review has been a long time coming. I've been told that these positive reviews are faked by the general manager. Apparently she makes the employees every couple of months write a positive review to counter act the negative ones on here. The general manager here is absolutely the most terrible GM I have ever seen in my entire life. So high strung on a power trip it's not even funny. She has been harassing me and I can't even go to this del taco anymore. I called corporate and nothing has been done. I've seen this GM yell at customers because they correct her on a mistake SHE has made! One morning I went through the drive thru to get breakfast for my parents and I, I had called my mom since the line was long asked what they had wanted and kept her on the phone so she can hear me order to make sure I ordered it right since I have severe anxiety and tend to get to anxious to remember the full order. I had stopped talking to my mom once I got up to the speaker all the way until I exited the drive thru out of curtesy for the workers. The GM was rude and yelling at me (obviously in a bad mood) and I had politely asked her to not be rude please I just want to make sure I get everything right since I had a big order. This lady slammed the window on me until my food was ready and threw the bag at me and slammed the window on me again. Mind you my mother was on the phone heard the entire thing happen so she called once I got home to complain and the GM cussed at my mom on the phone and said "she shouldn't be on her phone in my drive thru." which I was but I was not talking on the phone at all and my mom tried to explain that and she just hung up. Ever since that day she's been nothing but rude and I only went back a few times after that incident but stopped since she continued to be rude and disrespectful. This store is in desperate need of new management the GM does not know how to run this store properly. read more

I go almost every weekday morning on my way to work. I always order and egg and cheese burrito - no sauce. Most mornings the service is great. Sometimes the drive thru line is long and I will go inside. Most of the employees recognize me and make my burrito immediately. There are a few who keep asking me over and over - would you like mild or medium sauce - after I have just ordered my burrito with no sauce and that's why I can't give it the 5th star...and it is still a fast food restaurant! But overall I love this Del Taco and will keep going back! read more

Fast and convenient location. The staff is pleasant and accurate with the orders. They seem to get through the drive thru at a decent pace. Taco Tuesday and Taco Thursday are an awesome idea. Ok I just wanted to start off with my food was hot and yummy. This rating is solely on the cashier In drive thru window. She was tall and had on dark lipstick. Color was cute but for her to tell the taco bar lady to come up to the window to look at me and give me a wide eye look like I was an alien or something was NOT! Im currently working at Taco Bell 3 years now as a GM and worked at del taco for 4 years. I know what she was doing. So I'm eating at this location with my family like I do quite frequently, and I choose to sit by the entrance. I always come here because it's a decent establishment and usually clean. As I'm eating, a couple walks in and starts to point at the wall and starts to whisper to one another. I look on the wall at what their pointing at, and what is it? I looked and a roach was on the wall and crawling into the door where the register and food was cooked. Now every time I've eaten here I've never seen this, but I know roaches, and they can mate with themselves, usually you see one , then there most likely is more. Just my opinion, I share this so each of you can make your own decision. As for me, I will be eating at the del taco by the 215 freeway as its new establishment. I went here to get my beloved chili cheese fries on my cheat day, and had come to find a ridiculous drive thru that took forever. Which I thought to myself must be a good sign, however there were only two cars in the drive thru one being myself. As I waited there for 25 mins for my food. Love this place. I can feed my family of four for ten bucks. Always friendly and I haven't left with the wrong order yet! The taco salad and the bun taco are my favorites. The bun taco is not on the menu by the way but they will make it. I prefer Taco Bell but there isn't one close and they don't serve fries like Del does :). read more

I ordered 4 FRESCA CHICKEN BOWLS and they were DISGUSTING!! they didn't even resemble the picture on the menu in any shape or form except the actual bowl itself. The rice was like boiled rice with bell peppers (I think) that were so greasy and soggy burnt with rubber thing that I think were the chicken. YUCK! I asked the employee if they were spicy because they were for my kids & she told me that the vegetarian bowl was and not the chicken, they were way to spicy and my kids couldn't even eat them. Extremely rude service from female manager. She is unfriendly, gives no greeting, no smile and treats the customer poorly. She completely ignored me when I waited patiently to make my order. When I finally asked her to help me, she gave me a dirty look and said she was busy. I have worked in customer service for many years and anyone that treats people that disrespectfully should be fired. I did not get her name but she is a light skinned Latino of very small stature. If you visit this location in Wildomar on Hidden Springs, she is the one frowning that will make you feel very unwelcome. I used to really like this location but I will take my business elsewhere as she is training her employees to be just like her. I am spreading the word to everyone I know. If you want excellent service served with a smile, the Del Taco in Murrieta off of Clinton Keith is much nicer...better management and offers service with a smile. read more

The food here is same as any other del taco, but what sets them apart is the staff. They are always SOOOOOOOO friendly! It's a refreshing change from most places we eat at these days! Most other places could learn a thing or two about customer service from this del taco! read more
