My family and I stopped in this evening after stumbling across this place, and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the surf & turf torta, Big Quesadilla, ceviche, carne asada burrito, and birria taco. Every single thing we ordered was delicious! The food came out quickly, portions were great, and the customer service was excellent. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jessie, who was super friendly and welcoming. I've lived in Murrieta for a while, and I can honestly say this is some of the best Mexican food I've had since moving here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Delicious and authentic Mexican food out in the middle of Wildomar. Love that their tortillas are made by hand. That's the number one reason why I can't eat Mexican food. A huge number of restaurants use the already made and processed tortillas. Unfortunately, my body doesn't agree with them. The staff is super nice and everyone will talk to you and assist you, even the chefs! The vibe was super chill and service was excellent. We had the Posole, Albondigas soup, a Mulita and a Queso taco. Absolutely fantastic! Very authentic and approved by the family. The prices to portions are excellent, too. I come here with my parents on vacation since they both like the menudo which this restaurant sells daily instead of being weekend only. The menudo comes with warm flour tortilla and chopped onions and cilantro. The broth is seasoned well and the tripe is soft. I like their baja fish tacos and pastor tacos, breading is not too thick and the fish is crispy. They also do taco tuesday. The staff is nice and the place is clean. read more

I don't believe in bad reviews and this is my first review of the sort but I've grown up in the area and used to love this place. after a full day of yard work I'd walk over here to get a burrito and it actually tasted good and was worth the price. Today I Paid 20 dollars for a burrito that was more tortilla and chewy ass meat than edible food. When we walked the person I assume was the owner had a mean look and unwelcoming attitude as he was impatiently teaching a new hire how to use the register. I'm surprised this place is still open. My wife was born and raised in Tijuana and is a very good cook, since we moved to Murrieta, she absolutely loves this place, which says a lot because she knows the true authenticity of Tijuana food. I like to chat it up while I'm waiting for food and with the open kitchen, you can talk directly to the cook. All the cooks have been super nice. The woman at the cash register is strictly there for business and not big on chitchat, but that's all good because my rating is strictly for the food. First off, this was my favorite spot when we lived in Wildomar. We moved to Texas 4 years ago and I can't tell you how much I have missed this place. We visited this last Friday and the owner recognized me and even remembered my name. 4 years later! The flavor of the Carne Asada is just, in my opinion, the best. The quality of food for what you pay is fair, and the salsas are just something we have a hard time finding in Texas. The look inside had changed, but for the better! Clean and comfortable esthetic. I just ate one of the best chile rellenos ever! I honestly try the rellenos at every Mexican restaurant I visit. Lately, I've been thinking that places have stopped making their own and buy frozen product from a restaurant supply company. But this relleno was OUTSTANDING! The batter is light and the sauce it is covered with is also light. It doesn't overpower the chile, the cheese, or the batter. And the chef told me that they are cooked fresh. It tasted like it! I tried to address it with them but they said that this was the way it was made. Also, he was very rude and questioned me on what I ordered but I've ordered from other restaurants a carnitas burrito and not received his version of the meat.
