The total bill was over $350, and who carries more than $350 cash to see a dentist?" "Did they provide good service? I don't know that for sure. I went there for a possible root canal evaluation.

Update: Sep19 2022 Summary:…read moreI rarely write online review... Unless there is something exceptional.. Just get back today from a quick root canal follow up visit with Dr. Burgener @ Wheaton office ... Couldn't be more happier with the result of root canal.( All the issues with tooth were fixed in just one previous visit ) ************************************************************ Below more details: ( For patients whoever want to know more) The Situation with my tooth was complicated (before root canal).. During the first visit , Dr. Burgener immediately point out there was serious Periodental Pocket around the tooth..If it is left untreated.. The tooth probably can not be saved eventually (even after root canal)... From that moment , I realize why she become Excellent Surgeon..(Looking at the root causes of a issue, foresee all other problem in the mouth that will cause future root canal failure...) Gum issues/ Disease is a different function(Periodentist) I was expecting her to say " After Root canal.. Suggest to see Periodentist) But she never say anything like that... To my surprise, As a talented Endodontist, She come up with a creative solution( Special filling with medication to cover the gum area).. So here I am , Within 2 Weeks after root canal.. My Gum @ that Problem tooth area come back( almost fully recovered) As we all know, Periodental pockets / Disease are difficult to treat...and very very slow recovery.. or in certain cases.. Can not be reversed at all. I feel I owe Dr Burgener a Big "Thank you".. She fix both the tooth problem( Root canal) and Periodental issue( Gum Pocket) in one visit for root canal. She is doing extra work( not her function at all) and don't even mention about it...( My original thought was I might need Periodental surgery or at least root scaling and planing with a Periodentist) Really appreciated for her Kindness. ************************************************************* BTW. One of my friend check on me lately and ask me how I am doing after root canal.. During the conversation , We find out we are seeing the same Endodontist(Dr Burgener) I was thrilled to know she drive all the way to Hinsdale ( That is a one hour drive for her..) to see Dr Burgener two years ago for a front tooth root canal.. The minute the two of us find out we are seeing the same doctor. Both of us smiled with a big relief... as we know we are in good hands and get top notch Endodontic care. My friend also give Dr. Burgener Thumbs up.

All three and very kind, gentle, and calming. I have some anxiety when it comes to dentist but holy cow do I love this office! All the staff are wonderful! I have nothing bad to say. Dr. Ryan Kuebler is the dentist I see the most often. He is fantastic. He explains everything to me in real time and why prices are the way they are. He always goes above and beyond. He has an amazing energy about him that gets rid of any anxiety. Dare I say it's fun to go to the dentist? Again amazing staff!!! Very grateful for the care I have received. Would recommend to EVERYONE! I am moving out of state here soon and this dentist office is one of the things I am going to miss the most.

Had a little cavity and an old one failing and noticeable in front. Dr Ryan fixed me up, and I was nervous. 4 top front! No need to be. You literally can't tell anything was ever out of wack. I was still numb so lips are strange, but I would have had a bigger smile if I could have managed it. No before picture because it was cringy. He is good at his job and is a perfectionist. Super chatty, as he thinks the process out loud so as not to frighten and worry you about the final product. If it makes you more nervous he is so nice, I am sure he would zip it. Every detail was taken care of! I am very happy with my four front teeth that really had been in a war with my lowers for my first 60 years.

Beware. Never, as I…read moremade my initial appt, did the ofc staff offer, unsolicited, that there was a fixed $97 fee just to be evaluated (that's without Xrays). Twice I also had to wait while the ofc attended to computer issues. First visit the computer operating the Xray machine was down, so no Xray. Second time, when I merely came to pay my unexpected $97 bill, had to wait 4-5 min while receptionist continued to attend to computer issue, as I stood right in front of her. But what really made my experience unsatisfactory was that I thought I (and later was wrong, I discovered) needed a root canal in a molar. A dentist did not send me, I chose to go after the tooth had pained me for 10 days. I suggested the root canal to Dr. Palo. Since the Xray machine was unusable, he did not substantiate the problem, but was happy to give me a written estimate for the root canal. Because it was over $1000 I needed a couple days to fully consider. In that time, the pain began to subside, and within 10 days it had moved to another tooth! So a root canal on that tooth would have been profitable for the group, but a totally inappropriate procedure for me! The pain in all the molars has since just gone away. Never was it verbally offered that the $97 would be rolled into the procedure, but if I did not go through with it, I would be charged $97. For what? The broken Xray prevented a full evaluation, so I was, in my opinion, charged $97 just to walk out of the ofc with an estimate. Way over what would be a reasonable charge for just listening to me. Four months later I received (the first) billing, saying I was 90 days overdue. I had a friend call to say she was considering an appt. Again, it was not offered to her that there would be a $97 charge no matter what. She had to ask, "will there be a charge for the consultation?" She was, only then, told yes, $97. Ask lots of questions. I will do more than that. I will never go back.
