Chill place to do some remote work or meeting. Clean and spacious with plenty of breakout spots. I ordered an ice matcha latte, came out under 3 minutes. So many dessert for those sweet lovers.

Nice spot for coffee and sweets. There were many kinds of turkish delight! The employee was so friendly when we asked for recommendations and their favorite flavor. We ended up with the lemon turkish delight, which was pretty good. Nice chew and lemon-y flavor. It was a nice experience. Our coffees were smooth and flavorful. Both the yemeni and spanish lattes were nice to sip on. The yemeni had a strong cardamom flavor. The spanish had a strong dose of cinnamon in it. The baklava was crisp and delicious. So tasty and pistachio-forward. The texture was excellent! The nest shape was addictively delicious imo.

You're able to pull together a couple tables to make room for a group of 4-6. My friend got the dirty habibi drink and it was delicious. Note to self to get that next time. I got the rose milk cake and I loved it. Great rose favor and not too stone for my preference. My friends thought it was very rosey. I recommend you get this only if you love rose flavor but since they have so many flavors you should get the milk cake. Service was quick even though the place was busy.

I've found my new go-to coffee house. Delah Coffee checks all the boxes: quality coffee, friendly and fast service, plenty of seating, and reasonable prices. And it's spacious and bright!

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Adeni Chai: 10/10 You can definitely taste the spices, but it's smooth and subtle. You are asked what level of sweetness you prefer. I got light and I feel like it's a good balance to actually taste the spices and tea. I would definitely try with full sweetness, but wanted something light. Best way to start your morning without coffee jitters on an empty stomach. Service: 8/10 The cashier described a couple menu items to me, but service was nothing out of the ordinary. My drink came out in like 2 seconds though, I swear. Ambiance: 10/10 Lovely interior and super clean! Plenty of tables to sit at and work. There was some light music playing. It was air conditioned and well lit. There was a beautiful display of pastries and there are outlets available. A very short walk from the Embarcadero and has pretty banners outside to show you where it is. TDLR: Adeni Chai is smooth and subtle. Great gentle caffeine boost. There is a drink here for everyone. Super affordable! Drink came out super super quick. A good place to work during the day. Outlets, air conditioned, good lighting. Short walk from Embarcadero. Would definitely come back.

I stumbled upon Delah as I was heading back to my hotel and something called out to me to enter and just like that, I listened to my instinct. This spacious and welcoming coffee shop was so cute. As I walked towards the register, I was greeted by the showcasing of sweets that made me forget that it was 7a. I love floral takes on all things and saw that they had a rose milk cake... I was VERY TEMPTED, but because I was heading to the airport in an hour, I didn't do. Much regrets, but I did get a rose Turkish delight which was so damn good. Floral, sweet, chewy, and simply a delight! Covered in rose petals, it was such a treat. And surprisingly not as sweet as other Turkish delights I've had over the years. I also ordered the Adeni chai with almond milk (hot) and BAYYYBEEEEE. It was hella rich and decadent, it woke up all my senses! Full of spices and felt like a warm hug on this windy day. Ugh, can't wait to come back to Delah (hopefully in November when I'm visiting my fam again!)

First visit. I got the Yemeni Latte. It was good, but next time I will try the pour over. I also got a couple savory pastries that were good when I added a little hot sauce. The place was moderately busy on a Sunday morning.

First time trying Delah coffee! The inside was a little packed but there wasn't much of a wait in line. There are tables to sit and work out of. They also have pastries. I got the pistachio latte. I loved it! I'll be sure to come back again. Limited to street parking and paid parking garages, as with most of the city.

Good, strong iced Habibi. This is a large, clean café that's rich in natural light with all its windows. There's plenty of seating including excellent windowside options. There were many tables available on a Friday around noon. It looks excellent for getting some work done, though I didn't check for plug outlets.

Love the Yemeni latte and bee bites with honey drizzled on top. The inside is very clean and spacious with plenty of seating - it's a great place to chill and get some work done. Service was a little slow early in the morning but very friendly.

I'd planned to hit the "local" chain and kick back with coffee to kill a bit of time but, as I passed @delahcoffeehouse on Sansome, I changed my mind. I ordered a Turkish coffee and asked what was the least sweet dessert. She suggested the bee bites served warm with honey drizzled on it. Perfect and delish!

I visited recently with a colleague for post lunch caffeine & we shared a large pot of Yemeni chai & a Turkish dessert that was like a mini Kenefe (shredded phyllo dough with honey & pistachios). Kenefe usually is topped with rose water & honey syrup so this was a bit different but still delicious. I agree with another Yelper who suggested to enjoy your beverage and food at their beautiful location (bright, airy & lots of seating) as the hot tea is presented in a glass teapot with a tea light to keep it warm and two petite tea cups for you to enjoy. I love chai & really enjoyed the flavors of cinnamon & cardamom in the tea as well as the strength (it was a much needed midday caffeine boost). It was delicious! Service is quick & helpful. I will be visiting again soon!

This spot has become one of my go-to coffee breaks with coworkers and the fact that it's just a 5-minute walk from the office is a major plus. While their menu has a wide range of drinks, I always come back to the Yemeni latte (sweetened or unsweetened, depending on the mood) and it never disappoints! I haven't tried the food yet, but the sweet and savory options always look super tempting. We dropped by around 9:30am and were lucky that there was no line; our drinks came out fast. Service is always friendly, and I love how spacious and clean the place is. Tons of seating, great natural light, and thoughtful decor that makes it feel extra cozy. Overall, a reliable spot for quality coffee and good vibes. I'll definitely keep coming back!

They explained that the flight includes an espresso shot, espresso shot with milk, hot coffee, and iced coffee. I hadn't had a straight espresso shot before, so this wasn't for me personally just because it was so overpowering. I enjoyed the other three though. Like the majority of SF, parking is difficult to locate. I was dropped off nearby the location. There is indoor and outdoor seating; I was able to grab an empty spot late in the morning on a weekend, but I don't think seating is always readily available. It's not a huge space.

At 11 am on a Sunday they were out of their best- black sesame Kouign Amann and the Raspberry Almond Croissant, which I took care of by paying a visit to Juniper bakery (sister business) later in the day. The Mocha with the house made nut milk fell flat. It needed something. I am not a fan of syrupy coffees and appreciate the more purist approach but this one just didn't do anything for me. The chai latte which I would never order was actually the best chai latte I have ever had, it was smooth like silk. Maybe I just had the wrong coffee order. Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.

Both locations have limited seating, though the Nob Hill location does offer a small outdoor high-top table where you can stand and enjoy your coffee. Every location I've visited has also had a line, but honestly, the service is so efficient that the wait never feels too bad. When you walk in, the ordering process is somewhat similar to Philz. You place your order with the barista who starts your drink, it gets passed down the line for preparation, and you pay at the register at the end. While you're there, you can also decide whether you'd like to grab a sweet treat to go along with your daily dose of caffeine. The coffee here is strong and bold without being bitter. Everything I've tried has been incredibly smooth. While my most recent visit was for one of their coffee flights--something I'd been wanting to try for a while--I usually stick to their cocoa cappuccino, which is small but mighty and finished with a sprinkle of cocoa, or simply a classic drip coffee. If you're looking for elaborate latte flavors and seasonal creations, this probably isn't the spot for you. But if you want a coffee that will truly wake you up and you enjoy exploring the natural flavor profiles of coffee beans, Coffee Movement is absolutely worth checking out.

The Coffee Movement is a small specialty coffee shop that focuses on doing a few things extremely…read morewell. We walked into a minimalist, compact space with limited seating and more of a grab and go setup rather than a place to spend hours working. The simple design fits the concept well, putting the attention entirely on the coffee rather than the atmosphere or extra features. The space feels intentional, the kind of place where every square foot is used efficiently and nothing is added for the sake of decoration. The biggest reason to visit is the coffee itself. The drinks are carefully crafted, with espresso based options like cappuccinos and lattes standing out for their balance and smoothness. The cappuccino was a highlight, with rich espresso flavor, well textured milk, and a natural sweetness that came through without needing to overpower the drink. The milk was steamed to the right consistency, and the espresso held its own without getting lost. Seasonal drinks like the ginger latte and specialty options add some creativity while still keeping the coffee as the focus, showing that the kitchen is willing to experiment without straying too far from what they do best. The Coffee Movement also has a strong selection for anyone interested in exploring different flavors, including drip coffee, espresso drinks, and coffee flights. The menu stays focused without feeling overwhelming, and each drink feels thoughtfully made rather than just another café option. We found the pastries more limited compared to a full bakery, but they paired well with the drinks if you want something small, offering a light complement to the coffee without competing for attention. Because of its reputation, lines can form during busy hours, but the service moves quickly and the workflow behind the counter is impressive. The team handles the volume with efficiency, and the pace of the visit stays smooth even when the line stretches. The lack of indoor seating is the main thing to keep in mind, as this is better suited for a quick coffee stop or enjoying your drink outside rather than a long café session. The seating situation is clearly a design choice, keeping the focus on the coffee and the turnover rather than encouraging lingering. The Coffee Movement is a great example of a coffee shop that does not rely on a large space or elaborate menu to stand out. The focus on quality, consistency, and the craft behind each drink makes it one of the spots worth seeking out if you are serious about coffee in San Francisco. It delivers a clean, well executed cup that feels intentional from start to finish.
