    Iced Matcha Latte
    Reeven S.

The iced matcha latte was decent. It was foamy, a bit earthy, but nothing too special or extraordinary. They had other drinks I wanted to try like the mango latte but it was always sold out from the two visits I made here. For their customer service, the latte came out fast, which is great. However, from my first visit, I did not know there was a self-ordering iPad, which was covered by customers chatting around it. So I went straight to the cash register waiting for someone to assist me, but it was an awkward 4-5 minutes of me just waiting, making eye contact with the staff, and yet no one came up to me. Until the customers blocking the iPad finally received their order and left, I was able to see the iPad and browsed through the menu. The mango latte was sold out, but there was another drink that was missing in the iPad (not crossed off), but was present in their wall menu. I went back to the cash register and this time, tried calling out for help and after about four times of saying "Excuse me, hello?", the staff near me finally acknowledged me and said that the drink I was looking for was sold out. Not to put any assumptions here, but I know that almost all of their customers are in suits and ties and I was just dressed casually, but hopefully next time they pay equal attention to all of their customers. I'm still very intrigued about their mango latte since it's always sold out in the morning, so I'm happy to come back - maybe a bit earlier.

What sold me for the coffee here was no artificial sweeteners and syrups! Tried the raw cinnamon honey latte and was able to indulge guilt free. Staff was friendly and they have a cool green vibe inside. Definitely a great spot for a mid day coffee day in Fidi.

Bright, comfortable cafe with yummy empanadas that are heated up fresh. The employees there were friendly and remembered my name :) I took off a star because friends I was with had their orders mixed up, the wait time was very long, and the tablet where you're supposed to order wasn't working properly. I think it would be helpful if there were a better labeling system when it comes to the empanadas.

    La Canela is a must

La Canela is a must! Not too sweet not too bold. Perfectly balanced. Great vibes, great food, and great management!

    Pourover and organic mango latte
    Crystal X.

I didn't like their pourover but their organic mango latte was good. They use organic mango powder and either almond or oat milk. The latte itself tastes like dried mango blended with coffee, though the espresso flavor isn't very strong. Service left a bit of a sour note. When I asked if they had regular milk and if a drink could be made iced, the barista gave me a curt "no."

The coffee you're sipping is "of true known origin"

Coffee Bodega has the right idea. Their mission Statement is simply brilliant: "When organized farmers control the whole process, from growing to roasting to packaging, coffee quality is better." So it's not only delicious coffee, it is socially responsible coffee in the heart of the Financial District. If you have time to sit, do come inside. Surrounded by plants, you sip your excellent coffee in the tropics.

    The title.

Super friendly people and I loved the alfajores, just rich enough and sooo soft. Way better than what I've found across other places in SF.

We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. It was a beautiful morning, which was easy to enjoy thanks to the high ceilings, big glass windows, and open main door. The first floor has a central counter to order food and drinks; the glass cabinet has a bunch of rotating pastries from a local bakery. They have restrooms and a merchandise area here too. At the front are counter seats along the front window, and also a horseshoe that looks into the roasting area, which is a great place to smell the beans. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. They definitely have a larger business going on, and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, and various pastries to start our day. Prices were reasonable for the quality. All the baristas were friendly and fast to help.

Coffee was solid across the board. Grabbed an iced americano and it did what it needed to do. Staff were friendly too, happy to chat and talk me through their menu and answer any questions I had. Where Sightglass lost points for me: -Fire up that hot spot, because there's no wifi. -My husband's breakfast sandwich was cold in the middle. -Worst of all... paper straws. I know, dramatic, but I want to enjoy my coffee without the inevitable ticking time bomb of a straw progressively getting more and more soggy with every sip.

It's rather…read moreaccessible for most of the working population who work in-office in the Financial District, and that's what makes it special. While the storefront seems pretty welcoming on the outside, I could say otherwise about the customer service side of things. I was soon met not just with unwelcoming hospitality, but also, utter rudeness while ordering my coffee. I felt rushed, and when I asked about the pastries, all the one person that ordered it was: "this is what we have." I'm asking you to specify the pastries because... I GENUINELY don't know what they are? Like we're not experts at pastries compared to baristas that know their stuff -- let alone some random customer like me who doesn't know the name of EVERY pastry. Eventually, after that, I ordered the croissant and a cortado, and both tasted wonderful. The croissant was flaky and very buttery, and the cortado was a great combination to it as well. Ambiance isn't too bad -- there's small tables, but also, very spacious seating on the window side of the seating where there's a bar and more. I'll be back, but please treat your guests in a more courteous way, please -- it goes a long way.
