This place was fantastic ! The service was super kind and quick and my drink was yummy. There was quite a line of say but they make the drink sooo quickly so it's amazing. That place is small but super cute and their drinks were very flavourful. I got a regular iced matcha and it was good, i think they do a more authentic cappuccino and it was sweet but also good. My friend tried the Nutella latte and wow it was sweet and tased like Nutella, so amazing. I would definitely recommend and when i'm back in sf i would definitely return ! read more

What can I say? Location matters when it comes to coffee. I can't think of a more pedestrian unfriendly intersection in the city than Lombard and Van Ness. After all, there isn't a freeway that connects the bridges, so all the vehicular traffic courses through this congested main artery like a coronary you just know is bound to happen. That's what makes it less than desirable to be a pedestrian on this block. However, this compact coffee spot does an exemplary job in mitigating the traffic noise and safety distractions by serving solid caffeine options. I survived the crosswalk and had a satisfying $5.50 Cold Brew (Photo 7) next to the window. That's all I can ask. Went here for a quick caffeine break before heading out to a block party in the city. Ordered dirty iced matcha latte and ham and cheese croissant - which was perfection! I just read that their baked goods and pastries are from Cibo Sausalito which is delightful! Staff are friendly and efficient. There are limited seating but you can also choose to sit al fresco and enjoy the SF breeze. Parking can be a little challenging, however since we stayed in a nearby inn, we just walked over. Would definitely be back and try their ube croissant and strawberry matcha. read more

The Coffee Berry SF is a truly small, lovely, and underrated spot in the marina. While the physical space is quite tiny, the quality of the drinks and the atmosphere more than make up for it. The most important thing: the coffee is fantastic. My iced vanilla and dirty chai lattes were strong, delicious, and decently priced for the high quality. This is the main reason to stop by. Although the line can look long, it moves surprisingly quickly, and they have some nice indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your beverage. I especially loved how pet friendly the space is, I counted at least 6 dogs! It gives the place a wonderful, welcoming neighborhood feel. I'm docking one star solely for the pastry experience. The baked goods look amazing in the case, so I took the cashier's recommendation and tried the ginger scone. Unfortunately, it was a real letdown. I couldn't taste any ginger at all, and it was some how both dry and butter-heavy. Overall, I would absolutely return for the coffee and the great vibes! read more

Quaint neighborhood coffee shop that comes in clutch if you're staying at one of the many hotels/motels on Lombard Street. And the good thing is that their coffee is also super good too. They offered to help me add more sweetener in my drink when they saw me getting up to do it myself. I personally came here for the lavender matcha latte after seeing someone post it. Line was long but moved fast, which is always a good sign. I decided to go with my favorite, the classic blueberry muffin, and a london fog with almond milk. I was very satisfied with my decisions. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I noticed several doggie friends so if you're looking for a dog friendly coffee spot, this is the place for you. They even offer a little bite sized treat for your furry friends who stop in with you. Seating is limited inside and they have 2-3 little tables on the sidewalk outside, if people- watching is your thing. Most of us got our items to go. A gem of a coffee shop. Prices seem about right for the area. Fast/friendly service. They have a water bowl for dogs and free dog treats. The owner one day greeted a customer's dog and got a "hi 5've" from the animal. A lot of dog owners stop in with their pets. It's the little things that sets a business apart from the others. Also the clientele is very diverse which is refreshing. It's a microcosm ambience to the city life. Try the place and enjoy San Francisco up close and personal. read more

I saw good reviews for this place near my old apartment so I thought I would check it out. It's a small shop with a few tables and counter seating. I snagged a seat by the window. My iced dirty chai latte was good but as previously mentioned, the alternate milk option is pricey at $1.25. Hopefully they can lower the price soon. The pastries were the standout items. First was the bacon and cheddar scone. The scone was savory without being heavy or dry. The chocolate and cardamom bun was the perfect amount of sweetness. I love Coffee Berry as an addition to my neighborhood. I'm lucky enough to live right around the corner so it's always there for a quick stop. The staff are always nice and greet you with a smile. I love love loveee this coffee shop . I found this place during lunch on a school day since it's not far at all, and ever since then I've been going every morning because I have extra time before school. I also really love that they give a student discount! The workers are always so sweet and kind, always in a good mood, and always down to chat. They even allow dogs and have a treat jar for them! And if they ever make the wrong drink, they're always super calm and chill about it and always willing to remake it with no problem at all. As for their drinks and menu, I love it just as much -- the caramel latte is my favorite, and their croissants and banana bread are sooo good. They also have seating inside and outside! After parking in the garage on Lombard street I embarked on a long trek uphill. The Coffee Berry was a perfect place for a pit stop. The special of the day was a Nutella latte and to accompany it, I got one of there fresh almond croissants. They stay pretty busy here but staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a few tables and chairs to sit at while you enjoy your delicious pastry. My latte was made to order and was piping hot. The latte had great flavor but the only hint of Nutella I had was the chocolate drizzle on top. The croissant, was light, buttery, and perfectly sweet. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. Next time I'm in town, I'd love to try some of their other pastries and delicious coffee. read more

I never hear people talk about this small cafe, but they have great lattes & pastries. What I'm most curious to try is their matcha since I believe it is hand whisked! Even though this place is small, I wouldn't discount it and the line is much shorter than the surrounding cafe options. read more
