It was hard because we are the out of town owners of a building and we were thinking about Airbnbing one apartment. We need a cleaning service that would show up as planned every time. One that would be our eyes and ears and be meticulous to check and make sure everything was kosher and accounted for after each stay. We needed a service that would do a spotless cleaning each and every time. Finally, we needed a service that could be a true partner and do all this without us having to be there to watch over and police them. Ioan and Christina came to us on the enthusiastic recommendation of one of our closest friends. We are so thankful that we found them. We think the world of them. Their cleaning service checked all our boxes. They are wonderful. We have all 5 star ratings on Airbnb thanks to them. We havent received a single complaint. I spoke with Veronica, who came out to assess the job in person. This was a plus for me, as I didn't want a cookie-cutter quote based solely on square footage. On the appointed day, three ladies worked non-stop for five hours spotlessly cleaning two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, dining room & living room. They brought all their own equipment and cleaned everything; bathtub, oven/stove, refrigerator, windows, Venetian blinds, ceiling fans, etc. All done cheerfully and efficiently at a very fair price. Afterward, I imagine these hardworking ladies were exhausted, but they didn't show it, they never flagged. Very dedicated and admirable. I've never hired a maid service before so maybe I'm naïve, but the results are remarkable and a big boost to my spirits, as if being led out of a dim room. Fans and light fixtures were not dusted. The windowsill cleaning was very half done. There are still piles of dust. They were there for hours and I feel like barely anything was cleaned. I spoke to John and when we finally got to talk he said they could come and finish what they missed. He was not willing to work with me it was only days that work for them. He refunded me $28. Today, the substitute through GetClean - her name is Natalia - decided to skip reading my preferences and used bleach to clean my bathroom. Thankfully, I take my cats to a neighbors house while cleaning is happening so I was able to catch this when we returned before the cats got in the bathroom. I am now cleaning my bathroom AGAIN and airing out the house. In addition to having cats, I have breathing issues - hence the reason I ALWAYS have requested GREEN CLEANING. Will not be rebooking.
