I was really mad like a lot of these other reviews but it was my screw up and I paid. You people that are giving this company a bad review because you parked in the wrong lot or your parking permit wasn't displayed properly (that's why I was towed) or was expired and now you want to blame them for your mistake. I sit in that waiting room when getting a repair done and people come in screaming and yelling at the poor office manager likes its his fault you were towed. I have never seen a human being get treated the way he gets treated and he stays calm, doesn't scream back. My kids are now students at UofD and have also had their cars towed for improper parking (at a friends apt). So to all you reviewers mad at a company for doing the job they're contracted to do, you don't know what your talking about. I have seen people give descriptions of the "big Godzilla driver that tried to intimidate me" but there are no drivers that work there that look or act like that. These drivers take crap from people like us and are some of the most professional tow drivers I have ever dealt with. It's understandable to be upset when they tow you but you need to own up to your to your mistakes. Ewing Towing is not scamming you, those guys are very regulated and cannot just randomly tow someone, they are following the law and have been doing this job for a very long time and they're still there because they are a proper trustworthy company that operates withing the laws of Newark. If you don't believe me, go get an oil change or tire rotation and sit in the waiting room and see how "customers" treat these guys and how professional they keep their demeanor. Its mindblowing how horrible people can be to another human being.

Car was towed from apartment for "not displaying the parking permit" but was done so at 2:49 in the morning like they were on a repossession mission? Walked out the following evening to leave for work and it was just... gone. No notice from my property manager or the tow company. After reporting the car stolen and NCCP figuring out it was towed to Ewing, I was told BY Ewing to show up at 9am the following morning with proof of ownership. Showed up to a locked door and called the oh so pleasant gentleman who told me they would release cars between 3pm and 4pm, to bring $250 CASH and my drivers license. Showed up at 3:30pm, was told that it was now $300, and was met with quite an attitude (because "it was his last weekend working there and he didn't give a ****"). You'd think I towed his car! Wild. To put the cherry on top, when I walked out to the lot to get the BRAND NEW car, I noted pretty significant damage to the front lip and bumper where I can only assume it had been improperly taken off the flatbed. "Not their problem" though, is what I was told. I guess "safe and damage free transport" doesn't apply here. If they can't tow a car without damaging it, I can't imagine the caliber of work that comes out of their auto shop. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Solid work, guys.

I brought it into Royal Tech, and Yen did some research on the issue and was able to replace my transmission solenoids and the ribbon belt instead of replacing the entire transmission. The VW dealership had told me I'd need a new transmission ($2000 repair on a $1300 car? Uh, no thank you.) Yen's wife was able to pick me up from my house when my car was ready. I ended up paying *exactly* what I was quoted - $843. A+ repair work, friendly service, and honest people all at a fair and reasonable price. I will come back to Royal Tech every time I need a repair.

No matter how much prep you do for your vehicle you always forget something for me it was brakes. Specifically my rear brakes and an oil change. Working a 6/10 schedule and only having Sundays off isn't conducive to getting work down on your car. But I called peak performance and talked to Vince. We scheduled the appointment ahead a few days and I was able to get my car in. Their technicians knocked out the short laundry list of stuff on my car quickly and at a good price. I didn't lose my transportation for more than a couple hours and they even told me about a future problem they'd be happy to take care of another day. It's always a gamble on the road finding a good reputable shop with good customer service and quality techs. Peak performance is one of those good shops.

I got oil changes and service inspections on two of my vehicles so far and they were quick, thorough & convenient. Makes no sense that anyone goes a few miles up the road to the quick lube shop. He had my car for over a month and failed to fix it. At the end my car was in worst shape when I got it back. After speaking to Mercedes Benz, they advised me that Peter could not fix the car because he does not have the right equipment to reprogram the car's software after installing the ISM only Mercedes can do that. He lied and told me he could reprogram the car's software. He made several guesses when diagnosing the car and was unable to use the scan tool properly. He tried to charge me for his labor even though he did not fix the car and for towing the vehicle to make room for another car after I towed the vehicle to him. He was extremely unprofessional and does not answer the phone. He also stated he shipped my original ISM back to Mercedes without my approval and refused to give me a receipt for the ISM he claimed to have replaced. The dealer found that it was just a blown fuse and after replacing the fuse, the car started without a problem. He bypassed the starter relay by using a paper clip to start the car which I believe caused several other issues. He has ultimately cost me a ton of money and time. I will stop there but the story is more horrific. I would never take another car to R and K Motors in Delaware.
