Only to pay a few hundred dollars for a technician to come over and undo his work... All they did was to turn a valve and hit a button. The original worker said he was untrained and they will not send him for training. Horrible, and never got back to me after that situation. Responding to the message, you said that i do not agree with the decision - which is true I do not believe I should have paid for the first technicians' incompetence, there was no reason to turn off the valve. Then when you go to the second technician who came in, all he did was to turn the valve and restart the machine. Logically speaking - if the water heater worked - then we ran out of oil - then the first tech came after filling up the oil - how would the valve have been turned? Because I know i did not touch it and that's exactly why i paid extra for that service. And I have seen with my very own two eyes the first tech turns the valve. Those are undeniable the true and accurate facts of this scenario.

After 4 hours and over $800 in labor (which seems like a lot), he said let the house cool down 2 degrees at a time. The apartment was 78 degrees and he set it to 76 degrees. I left all the blinds down , did not run the dryer or the over or any form of heat. 2.5 hours later the current inside temp is 79 degrees. I called to tell them this and 4:15pm is considered after hours...... Update: I left a message with the emergency line with my number when I called at 4:15, no one calls me back , but Steven is able to reply to my yelp review within half an hour of posting it ? Btw , I understand it's the "hottest part of the day " but it should not be getting hotter in here.

The short version of this review is that Alex and his team make things easy. They provided top quality service, at reasonable prices, and were done quickly! The slightly longer version is after several years of talking about getting a split system to replace the various window units I'd been using, I finally pulled the trigger this year. I had several contractors out to provide estimates. Right out of the gate, I appreciated Alex's approach. While the other contractors discussed various options with eyeball estimates, Alex actually took a few measurements to come up with ideas which could actually be implemented. As a result, he presented a few ideas on how to run things that others missed and (imo) offered the best end solution. Obviously pricing is going to be specific to the job at hand and a variety of other factors. In my case, I found the pricing to be very competitive while offering name brand and better equipment than others. A small deposit was required, which is fairly standard. When it came to installation, the team worked hard, quick, and clean. I got a 4 zone unit covering my Master bedroom, office, guest bedroom, and living room. They worked a slightly long first day to get all the physically installation done (along with all the loud work, so to speak). They came back for a half day to tie up the electrical, help me get the wifi setup, and wrap up. Regarding the electrical, in my case they needed to add a subpanel and when they noticed a few things not done quite right in my existing box, they made the necessary fixes/adjustments! The end result was top quality across the board. I'm comfortably sitting in the A/C as I type this review. Happy to provide Joint Way a 5-star review and have already recommended them to a few friends considering split systems. Hopefully this review and the accompanying few photos help your decision making process.

From the moment they arrived, it was clear they take immense pride in their work. They were punctual, protected my floors, and took the time to explain the features of the AO Smith unit. They were polite, fair on price, and clearly know their stuff. Told me 125.00 to come out 125.00 labor cost . Tech came out boiler was ok but needed an auto feeder . I ask the cost tech said 400/500 hundred for part and service . Tech also said they don't work on boilers anymore but probably would done mine since they installed it . Girl called back I asked if they offered a maintenance plan for boiler she said NO also said job would be 1300-1400 to fix auto feeder this place totally did me wrong had no problem taking my 250 for nothing!!
