The hours posted online and on the door says they close at 8 PM. There is a paper taped to the window saying they close at 7 today which is fine. Arrived at 6:15 and placed my order for dine in and was reminded that they close at 7, I sat down waiting for the order to be made. Then was told again that they close at seven I still had 45 minutes to enjoy my meal. They bagged it up to go and then asked me to move to the other side of the dining hall where it was extremely crowded and there was a line out the door. Pretty disappointed in this deli delicious, decided to take the family here tonight on Friday the 2nd and got there at 7:15 pm and while ordering was told we cannot eat our food there because they close at 8:00pm so we HAD to take it to go, during our ordering with Sara, was also asked if we'd be paying with cash or credit, so I said debit, and entered my pin and was charged a 1.15 credit card fee which is pretty new to me on food, unless it's a food truck or something, and after getting our food and getting home, our sandwiches were pretty sad, I asked for bacon on my sons sandwich and there was 1 little piece and on my wife's BLT which is in this picture a sad little piece of bacon also, and my French dip has zero flavor and was disappointing, the beer battered Fries were the best thing we had but was definitely shorted a bunch by being forced to leave To go instead of being able to enjoy our food there and get a full basket of fries like we've had in the past, 2 small sandwiches and a mini with fries, no drinks was over 34 bucks!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Went for our daughter's birthday dinner...wanted a sandwich to ring in her 16th birthday. The entire time we ordered, after every sandwich, the guy would ask "Is that all?" After we get through our order, we all sit down and wait for our food. They call out our name and all our food is packaged to-go. When we sit back down the guy tells us they're actually not open for dine-in. Nowhere is it posted nor did he say that when we ordered. So we pack up and head home. Only to discover when we get home that the ONE sandwich that matters, the birthday girl's, is NOT in the bag! I got a medium which to me size wise was maybe 9 to 10 inches. But they pile on the meat and cheese! And the medium was $8.70. So a little more than subway but quantity and quality it far surpasses subway. They also have fries! Love love love this. They had sweet potato, regular and curly. Delicious! I've been to several Deli delicious locations and they have all been consistent...until tonight's visit to the Atwater location. We came in 40 minutes before closing and the lights were dimmed and the chairs were on top of the tables...obviously the two ladies working wanted to go home. When I placed our order I asked for no mayo and cheddar cheese on my sandwich. Ever get the feeling that your order is going to be wrong? Yeah I felt that. Sure enough our sandwiches were delivered to our table and mine had provolone cheese and mayo on it. I kindly went to the register and asked if my sandwhich could be remade. What was returned to me was a French dip with the provolone half removed and slices of cold American cheese slopped on it. I was not about to return the sandwich again and risk a side of spitball.
