The inside of a Kong. So good.
Elliott W.

When it comes to massive hearty sandwiches, this is the best place in town, and compared to other Deli Zones this one is worth driving too if you aren't local. I am a fairly large person that can put away a lot of food, and the large sandwiches here will make me full and I usually have to take part of the sandwich home. My favorites are the Kong, Gangster, and Pastrami which the pastrami here is amazing and I always add it as extra to every sandwich that I get. For Delivery, they are pretty quick regardless of the time or day, and the food always arrives hot or cold as necessary. If they don't have something you ordered or need clarification they will take the time to call and ask instead of guessing and getting it wrong. If you stop in, the food is always prepared fresh right in front of you on the grill so you know what you're getting is cooked to order when you order it. The prices here I think are actually low for what you get, and I wouldn't mind paying another $2 for a sandwich from here, because they are truly large proportions.

Breakfast sandwiches. Boom. Been eating here for about 20 years. It's a must-stop any time I'm in Boulder at breakfast time.

Great sandwiches for a decent price! Sandwiches aren't skimped on for meat, veggies or cheese. The bread is great.

Don't forget they do breakfast! I stop in there a lot for breakfast burritos. The lunch line is always about 1/10th of what Snarfs is too.

The Kong is my favorite and is so big I usually refrigerate the other half and save it for the morning.

Prior to entering, we heard it may be run by a cult, however, we did not look into it as it was quite literally the only place on all of Pearl street open for breakfast other than Snooze which we were banned from as my sister as meeting friends there. We were a bit skeptical the whole dining process but the food and drinks were honestly delicious. We got the iced mint mocha which was so delicious, green tea, yogurt parfait, breakfast sandwich, and spinwich. All of the ingredients were fresh, well prepared, and tasty. Once we left, we read about the background history and some of the values of the twelve tribes associated with the Yellow Deii. Had we known the tribe and beliefs it is linked to, we likely would not have eaten here.

And they do a damn good job of it! The cool thing is that it's a sandwich shop AND a Häagen Dazs ice cream store rolled up into one. Has to be one of the only places in the country of its kind! Savory or sweet, you'll find something you love here. The menu boasts sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast, kids meals, and of course the full Häagen Dazs menu. Italian Stallion // ham, pepperoni, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion, balsamic vinaigrette, yellow mustard & mayo on marbled rye. The Italian American favorite. All the salty and tangy notes were hit. I don't love the bread choice personally, but to each their own! I just think it would've been even more flavorful on the Ciabatta roll. Now I'm a little biased because I grew up in the Häagen Dazs world. My family owned two shops until I was 18! They have some unique flavors on hand that I haven't seen in store or other brick and mortars. I loved the selection they have on site here. Plus, the employees will happily sample whatever flavor you want to try! Huge store with lots of space to sit. Easy ordering process for either the deli or the ice cream. And seriously, some of the most friendly employees I've seen in a hot minute. For something quick and on the go, Lindsay's Boulder Deli gets my stamp of approval. And if you're lucky enough to run into Lindsay herself, you're sure in for a treat!

I may be a decent baker, but salads are beyond me. This Market Salad is one of our favorites. Their dressing is unique and I've never had anything like it elsewhere. It is a maple vinaigrette though not really sweet, regardless of the name. It's more savory than sweet, but the touch of maple cannot be overlooked. The salad greens, tomatoes and quinoa add a great balance of textures. The "spring greens" this time of year has specialties I cannot duplicate in a grocery store as their greens come from local gardens where they have access. Besides these ready to eat items, for in house or take out, there are plenty of fresh meat options at the butcher counter and specialty prepared meat items like the lamb meatballs with Spanish seasonings, ready to cook and in the freezer case. I plan to try those soon.

The seasonal menu highlights the freshest CO produce too, so don't forget to add some greens to the plate. Service is relaxed and friendly, unlike some of those "fancy steakhouses."

First, I wish they had seating somewhere, but just the same, our first experience with this…read morebutcher/deli was very good. My husband has lived in Longmont for two decades, and I've been here for 5 years, but neither of us had ever gone into the store. Since we were already in the shopping center to try a new place yesterday, we went to Frank's afterwards. Bottom line, we've finally found our favorite deli in the area. If it wasn't snowing today, we'd go back for a sandwich. Since we weren't immediately hungry, we instead looked over the meat selection and then zeroed in on the deli counter. I purchased just a few sample items. A bagel (they say it's a NY bagel, and it does have the right texture! Just wish they had whole wheat); whitefish salad (better than any others I've encountered in the area); cole slaw (perfectly blended - not too watery, not too dry); and a canoli, which was flaky and sweet. The deli items have an East Coast feel like no other in the area that I've encountered. Better than anything I found in Lakewood, where I lived before. And, since we just got back from a visit to my Dad in Florida, this was a welcome sight! The soup they had as a special, as well as the sandwich special descriptions sounded yummy, so we will go back, maybe this weekend. The meats also look good, so we will likely try some in the weeks to come. Again, I wish they could somehow create a place, even outside, where we could sit to eat. We could then eat right away instead of having to go home first. But even with that inconvenience, we look forward to more encounters. The young man who helped us doesn't know much yet about the choices, but I'm sure if he stays there, he'll learn. He was pleasant and helpful, asking another employee when he didn't know an answer. It's already busy there, but yes, I recommend going and waiting to try their goods! It's worth the wait.
