I came in around 130 on a Friday to see the one loan employee sitting in there just watching his phone. I stood. there for about five minutes. he never looked up, never acknowledge me and I walked out. I don't even think he realize I was there. Plus the kitchen area looks unorganized and dirty. I haven't been to a Deli Zone in over 10 years and couldn't wait to try this one when we were in the area. This location feels janky. The fountain soda machine was broken and apparently has been for a while. There were no napkins anywhere (at 11am on a Saturday). There is a printed sign saying many items on the menu have a $1 up charge and that they're in the process of printing a new menu. Previous reviews also mention this, so I don't think they're in a hurry to print a new menu. The bathroom was filthy, with grime all over the floor and walls. The dining area ceiling was also covered in black dirt. Corporate needs to check this location out, as it is not up to their regular standards. read more

I Don't usually do this but, I used to Go to the Deli zone in Boulder on Valmont and it used to be my favorite place to eat 3-4 times a week I recently moved to the Broomfield area and tried this Deli Zone Location. Let's just say I was highly disappointed in limited options as well as the large is smaller than the Boulder location. Furthermore the green peppers were uncooked in my Philly and huge pieces. Also they have an up charge on everything on the menu for a $1 more. I will not be going back to this Location ever again. read more

We are from out of town and needed to grab sandwiches before we spent the day at Bay Aquatics. Happened upon Deli Zone with mixed reviews but decided to give them a chance. I assume the owners greeted me, sweet couple, both quickly pulled my 3-sandwiches together. Overall happy with the subs, a little too much bread but that's my personal opinion, well priced. Not top quality deli meat but not bottom of the barrel either. I ordered 2-Cold Italians and 1-Turkey Bacon Avocado. Again, my sandwich was fine....I would give this a 3.5 but can't do 1/2 stars so I'm settling on a 4-the place needs to be refreshed. I have always enjoyed DZ breakfast sandwiches and ran across this location one early morning so I stopped in. I went against the #YELP reviews and thought I would have better luck. I was wrong, unfortunately. I ordered two sandwiches and the gentlemen running the counter (which I believe was the owner) was pleasant. As I waited nearly 20 minutes for those two sandwhiches I watched him fight with several customers and take the phone off the hook to get it to stop ringing. When our food arrived the quality was pretty poor. Not the DZ I am used to. I have to assume this a frachisee issue because I know the other DZs are solid. Too bad. read more

After 20 minutes I went up to ask if they had started my sandwich. The guy working gave me attitude and said "we already called you. You never came up." Rude owner. Always has an excuse for everything and never apologizes when he is in the wrong. They close at 6. Seriously? Who under 70 eats dinner before 6? I love Deli Zone but this location is totally not up to par. I've eaten here multiple times and have never had the same quality experience I get at other DZ locations. I've been to several deli zones over the years, two locations in Boulder, the one off of Wadsworth & 10th and this one. The owners are very nice and they make the sandwich fresh. I like coming in here because they have vegetarian options, the Hot Ellis Island Sandwich is pretty good. Most of the other sandwich chains don't have vegetarian options. Back when I did eat meat, the 42nd street sandwich was my go to here. Clean location and they are fast. read more

Could not decide where to go for lunch today and the Wife had mentioned wanting to go here so we did today. When we saw the place we should have turned around and walked out. 3 people in back, one at the register, one cooking and one just standing around. 2 tables had customers and 2 of them had napkins laying on them, crumbs all over and were in serious need of cleaning, not to mention the floor. Looked like it had not been cleaned from the night before. We were about half done eating and another gentleman showed up and started behind the counter. And still, no one came out to clean the dining area. The sandwiches we ordered were OK at best, I would not order them again. I can say the wheat bread was good. Haven't had the best experience the three times I've been there. Their website states I can order online and get Gluten Free buns. When I was there to pick up the high school aged staff didn't know what "GF" bread was. They eventually told me that this location doesn't have Gluten Free bread despite having it listed online. Second time I ordered online and paid when I arrived Sunday afternoon there was no one in the store and when I asked about my online order they "forgot" to get started on it. When I went in for my last and final time it was just excessively slow to get three sandwiches because they were socializing too much instead of making my meal. I probably won't come back here. I've been going here for years. On every visit, I have always ordered the 4 egg kong - makes for an easy breakfast on sat mornings. Over the course of visits, I have collected several loyalty cards ( 1 free sand which for every 10 visits). Today I came in and ordered 5 kongs and wanted to redeem 2 cards. Wow. To say that I was treated pretty horribly is an understatement. I ordered some breakfast sandwiches through DoorDash to be delivered to me. Of course, I got the DoorDash driver who decided he wanted to throw my food away rather than deliver it. He was in the vicinity of my house and then drove away. Never delivered my food. So I call DoorDash. They refund me and tell me to order again. So I do. About 20 minutes after I do, I get a text saying the order was cancelled by Deli Zone. Confused, I call Deli Zone. As soon as I say DoorDash and breakfast, the gentleman starts screaming at me saying I cancelled an order so now he is cancelling mine. Unfortunately, there was an obvious language barrier and he was spitting mad at me, which would have been abated if I could get a word in edgewise. He would not let me explain what had happened and how I still wanted my breakfast. After using some choice words, he hung up on me and then would not take my call again. If I called, he'd just hang up. Well, Deli Zone, your loss. I looked at my records. In the last 2 years, I ordered from you 117 times. Yes, 117. Total spend was $2,372.13. We came here to the Deli Zone to try out the new boba, as we saw the sign from the side of the road and we wanted to give it a shot! we walked in and there was absolutely no one there, and we gave the vanilla boba shot. the boba wasn't actual "boba" it was actually tapioca balls, which is very different from what boba is actually. the boba was $3.99 plus tax, it was $4.34. we waited probably ten minutes to get the drink, it was a long wait but the drink was alright. if you'd like to try boba, i would recommend you a different place to try boba for the first time. read more

We used to live near a Deli Zone and enjoyed it enough to eat there every few months. We were near this one today and decided to stop for dinner for the first time since we've had kids. The menu was a bit different, but the food was still very good. And the kids meals are a great deal (they include sandwich, chips and a drink for around $5). My husband is partial to their breakfast sandwiches. I think those are probably the best deals on the menu, and there's a lot of egg/meat in the sandwich. I've had a variety of hot and cold sandwiches off their menu and have enjoyed all of the ones I've tried over the years. It does take a little while to get your food if you order one of the hot sandwiches. That's to be expected, but don't go if you're in a super huge rush. It's definitely not my all time favorite sandwich shop, but it's good and I'd eat there again. read more

I'm still a fan of Deli Zone - even though the last three times we've ordered, at least one sandwich wasn't what we ordered. The people are nice, the sandwiches are great, the price is good, but darn, I prefer to try new things on purpose, not because my order is wrong! On the bright side, I've discovered that they have what may be the best tuna salad in the world. For anyone who likes tuna salad sandwiches, I heartily recommend Deli Zone's. And positively loaded with tuna, fresh lettuce, onions, and tomato. Since they do such a remarkable job, we'll keep ordering. I had to change my review after my most recent visit. I'm writing this in hopes of someone in charge seeing it and doing something to bring back the glory of Deli Zone. I met the owner of this location on my very first visit to DZ. He was nice asked if I would try a new breakfast burrito he was considering putting on the menu. It was the Ancho-Chipotle Burrito and I ended up loving and ordering every time I went. We took the summer off of eating out to save some money so it had been a while since I'd been to DZ. Yesterday, I was very excited to get my Ancho Chipotle breakfast burrito on. My husband and I placed our orders, the young lady who took them entered them in wrong but caught her mistake and let the cook know that the burritos were with steak and not sausage (the Ancho-Chipotle Burrito has always been steak, I know because I've been eating it since before it was on the menu, that sounded douchey but I want to emphasize I know what I want to eat when I go there). The wait as usual was long. We had come to expect that. I ordered coffee, there was about a half cup in the carafe, I asked if they were going to brew more, they started but never finished. I rinsed out my coffee cup and drank soda instead. This is something that's really common. They are out of tea, bread and coffee frequently. Even when we were going there on a regular basis. When our burritos were done, we were even more disappointed in the results. 1) The tortillas were toasted not just warm. I have nothing against toasted tortillas, only that when they are toasted, they crack and don't hold the burrito together. 2) My husband's burrito had no green chili in it, which is fairly important for a green chili breakfast burrito. 3) My steak and egg, Ancho-Chipotle burrito was sausage... Even after specifying that I was wanted steak and that being communicated to the cook, I still ended up with sausage. When I asked for a corrected burrito, there was no acknowledgement that there was a mistake. In all, it was really disappointing. I'm giving it a 2 star rating because I have had better from this DZ location. I want my old Deli Zone back. read more

Wife and I ordered food and paid for it. It has been well over an hour and past the time grub hub said it would be delivered. Deli Zone will not answer the phone, Grub Hub said they do not have a driver and Deli Zone has their own. Neither companies can give us any answers to where are food is. Needless to say Deli Zone took our money and wouldn't deliver. Do not order from this place, it's like dealing with Comcast but worse due to the fact they will not answer the phone. The sandwiches are great, prices are on par with Subway, and the staff are very nice. The seating is a little crowded but not bad, and when the weather permits, the patio is awesome. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is that it's not exceptional quality - I've had better sandwiches, but these don't disappoint, and it's definitely better than the other big chains. The best part about this place is that they offer delivery, so I'd much rather order a meatball sandwich over pizza almost any day. read more
