This is a New Yorker. Medium. And that's my adult hand next to the sandwich. You decide.

This place has gone downhill. Not only did they raise their prices by one dollar on every single item. They also put less ingredients in the sandwiches. $11 for a sandwich that looks like a corndog.

We are from out of town and needed to grab sandwiches before we spent the day at Bay Aquatics. Happened upon Deli Zone with mixed reviews but decided to give them a chance. I assume the owners greeted me, sweet couple, both quickly pulled my 3-sandwiches together. Overall happy with the subs, a little too much bread but that's my personal opinion, well priced. Not top quality deli meat but not bottom of the barrel either. I ordered 2-Cold Italians and 1-Turkey Bacon Avocado. Again, my sandwich was fine....I would give this a 3.5 but can't do 1/2 stars so I'm settling on a 4-the place needs to be refreshed. I'm sure due to Covid it's been difficult it it does look worn down.

Ham, egg and cheese. So gooey and delicious.

I love getting a breakfast sandwich here and my husband loves their Jamaican sub add jalapeños. Sweet family owned franchise that I have no issue supporting!

    Strawberry Boba

I do NOT recommend the boba!!!! I went and tried their new boba and after it sitting for less then 15 minutes (just the ride back home) it looked like that. We also had bought sandwiches which were fine and tasted good after waiting that same amount of time. I just don't recommend the boba, try to avoid if you can.

Had an egg sandwich and it was perfect! I visited during the Covid-19 shutdown and they were open for take out.

Not bad, but it didn't knock my socks off like other little Italian deli's around town can and do. The big flop was the service. I was unsure where to wait to order my sandwich so I waited by the case. While there were numerous employees working behind the counter, and zero other customers in the store, nobody greeted me for an awkwardly long amount of time. Maybe 5 actual minutes passed with me standing there and multiple employees working and even looking at me and never saying anything. Finally someone asked if I needed help. Yes, I want to order a sandwich. I put in my order, and it took about 10 minutes to make the sandwich. Understandable as the meat was sliced to order, which was great. In that time, another person came into the store, grabbed a few items, and stood at the register for that same full ten minutes I waited for my sandwich. Numerous employees working around, one even said hi to her, and nobody asked to help her. I was then asked a second time if I needed help and said I was waiting for my food. The other customer, still ignored. It was awkward for both of us. Finally, when my sandwich was done, they rang me out before she was rung out, and a second employee came to ring her out, and employee who walked past her numerous times while we stood there. Just a very strange customer service experience. They have a lot of room to improve in this area. On the plus side, during my long wait I was able to get photos of the grocery area and their cases and fridges. Lots of selection on the grocery side.

I love that they have craft Colorado sodas as selection made with real cane sugar. The deli is clean and always feels well stocked for all the essentials. They have amazing selection of various types of cheesecake, I didn't even notice they had cookies before but ended up getting a couple cookies for dessert to pair with my homecooked sausage and peppers pasta. Make sure you get your punch card if you're getting the canolis, the sausage canolis have a special place in my heart.

Sandwich was the Tail Dragger sandwich (Black Forest ham, oven-roasted turkey, pastrami, salami, Swiss, provolone, and mayo on sourdough) along with Jalapeño Beer Cheese soup. The sandwich was spot on, well toasted with a satisfying crunch, melty cheese, and layers of flavor in every bite. The soup was equally impressive: rich, cheesy, and savory with just the right amount of jalapeño kick without being overpowering. There was a fairly large group of older / retired folks who had just ordered when I arrived. Whether they were waiting on a charter flight or this is a regular Wednesday gathering, the place had a fun atmosphere. Despite the crowd and several pending orders, my food came out faster than expected. As an added bonus, the Vegas Golden Knights' jet was parked on the tarmac, which was very cool to see. This place reinforces my theory that FBOs and semi-private airports often have some of the best hidden gem diners and bistros, places usually known only to flight crews and private pilots. Definitely worth the stop.

Here are something's that I have seen other reviewers comment on and I hope this one review will be try to clear up some of the quirks of this overall, non-threatening and basic little sandwich shop. First, if they are busy...you are going to wait for your sandwich. The people don't make things quickly here, they try to compose the sandwiches correctly. Some people go faster than others but they have max two people working and not a lot of counter space to prepare. If you see two people waiting your wait will probably be around 15 minutes to get your sandwich. Next, they offer lettuce, tomato, and onion on every regular sandwich. If you don't want it say you don't want it or just tell them what you want. They are still going to ask. This is a point they need to hit and are food service workers, just be nice. Next, their sides are small. Any side choice you get with your sandwich is going to be tiny. This is for sure worth a lower rating on my review but once again, just know this going in. It even feels like somehow the bag of Lays they offer as a choice is smaller than a normal single serving bag of Lays original. Like I said, I have been coming here for years off and on when the mood strikes. The food quality has stayed the same. If this is a concern for you seeing the pretty low rating. The rating is 100% based around serving speeds and portion sizes. I normally get the Hell's Kitchen or the Chicken Salad with Cajun sauce. I have also gotten the Italian before. They are all pretty good. On this trip I got the Hell's Kitchen and it was made perfectly. I went pretty early in the day so no one was waiting and my and my wife's food got made pretty quickly. My wife got the Hell's Kitchen breakfast sandwich. This is a basic sandwich place with some tasty combinations. Don't expect a gourmet sandwich (go to Moxie) or a real deli vibe (Broomfield doesn't really have this but Deli Zone down the road is probably a better option for authentic deli flavor).

Full disclosure: this specific review was sparked by a DoorDash order. I have eaten in Deli Zone…read morebefore and taken food out of Deli Zone before so I will try to be as specific with all my experiences up to this point as possible. I was working some OT at my job and they threw me a bone by expensing lunch. It was still pretty early when I had to make my decision so I went for some place that was open. I settled on Deli Zone. Open early and you can choose between breakfast or not all day. I have been to Deli Zone in the past and it has always been pretty decent. The Kong breakfast sandwich is, dare I say, a classic. I mean hash browns on a sandwich? Amazing. They also do classic deli sandwiches pretty good. A lot of places try to make them more fancy than they need to be. Deli Zone is slightly guilty of this but it seems like the best place to get some pastrami on rye in the area if you are feeling it. The speed of getting your order is always pretty slow. When I ordered my sandwich this most recent time it took a full hour or so to get to me and it was one sandwich and I live less than 5 minutes away from the location. I would have for sure just went myself to get the food but the delivery order was placed for me. This could be all on DoorDash but I have experienced that same issue when ordering in the store as well. They take their time...could depend on sandwich order too. Speaking of going inside. Deli zone is very basic on the inside. My daughter and I used to walk over and eat lunch there and it is the type of place that leaves cases of canned drinks around and has those plastic stand fans out. It kind of seems like maybe someone lives there but I have no proof of that. It isn't dirty though, so don't worry about that. Just seems...lived in. This most recent time of going I got the New Yorker sandwich on marble rye. This was a great sandwich and might be my go to when I order from Deli Zone again. I liked the slaw, cheese, and dijon mustard more than the Russian dressing and sauerkraut of a Reuben. I am a pastrami guy too so this was great. Overall, the sandwiches in the past at Deli Zone all feel a bit...dry. A lot of the time the moisture comes from cheese or a dab of mustard from the sandwiches I have ordered. The New Yorker did not have that problem. I also got a whole pickle (great deli pickle honestly) and a bottled Starbucks coffee. This was overall a perfect meal for me for lunch and it kept me going until dinner. This won't be the best deli style sandwich place in the world but it is pretty damn good for Broomfield, CO.

For me I decided on the roast beef and provolone with everything except onions. Took a little longer than I anticipated but this place was pretty busy with dine in and take out customers. Sandwich was finally ready and I dove in. This sandwich was fantastic and you can absolutely tell the care and craft of these sandwiches based off how fresh all the ingredients tasted. The roast beef was OMG delicious and the blend of flavors was next level good. Inside as well was super clean with decor you would expect in a deli. Service was a 5 star all the way!
