Had an egg sandwich and it was perfect! I visited during the Covid-19 shutdown and they were open for take out.

The Jamaican chicken sandwich is my all-time favorite sub! It's got a great kick to it! However, service here has been slow and not-so-friendly on most of my visits. Additionally, hours seem to be consistent, which is disappointing. Stopped by once when Google said they'd be open, and they were closed. Another time I stopped by and they had a hand-written note on the door saying they'd closed early. read more

This place has gone down hill since the new owner Tu Lien has taken over. They do not switch their gloves after touching raw meat & eggs INCLUDING THE OWNER. I had to speak up when i saw the owner herself grab raw steak and then proceeded to grab my bread and put mayo and veggies on it with the contaminated gloves. She just looked at me and grabbed new gloves. I would come here only CERTAIN TIMES when the correct staff was working ( little blonde girl, tall blonde guy and brown hair girl. It seems to me the only good sandwich makers have parted ways since I was just there yesterday. I am very disappointed i used to come here every morning for the amazing breakfast sandwiches now the deli doesn't cross my mind. I had high hopes for the Deli Zone because they'll deliver to my house. Now I don't want to get into a whole debate here, but I think that a deli sandwich comes largely down to the quality of the bread. I thought the DZ bread was just average. Absolutely ridiculous experience. We went in to get a take out order. Ordered very clearly only to go home to have literally the complete wrong order. We called to try to sort this out only to be screamed at by the Asian employees. They refused to help us what's so ever. I don't call for help to be verbally abused. If you can't speak English and understand your customers you probably shouldn't work at a restaurant with a completely English menu. We used to come here all the time we will NOT EVER be returning. Love this place. Started in Boulder years ago and now there are locations all over the metro area with consistent quality all around. I currently frequent the location at 12161 Sheridan Blvd in Broomfield. Love the breakfast menu and the cheese steak sandwiches the most but all items are excellent. I have only had the Breakfast sandwiches, and they are pretty good. You look at the outside and I dont think an intelligent person is expecting greatness. That being said, if you are in a hurry and need a quick sandwich, this is just fine. read more

This is my first time being here. Decided to try something new on my lunch break. Staff was working hard and very friendly. Menu is New York Themed with names like, "The Rachel"... gotta love that! If my review is too long, skip to the end for a summary! First of all, Deli Zone is probably one of my favorite restaurants I have ever been to; I used to work across the street from the Deli Zone in Boulder where I would run across to get a Dimaggio multiple times a week; this went on for literally 4 years. Despite how much I love the food there, I stopped going because there was a gentleman who started working there who gave the absolute worst customer service of any restaurant employee I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I would go back every time hoping that he was just having an off day when he gave me such bad service, but he continued to suck every time.This was unfortunate, but I had to move away from Boulder anyway, so I never went out of my way to reach out to the owners or a manager. I moved to Westminster around 9 months ago, and when I found out there was a Deli Zone right nearby in Broomfield I was so excited. I started going again and again, getting my same Dimaggio and loving it every time until one day when I stopped by to get my pickup order the person standing at the register was no other than the person who made me boycott my favorite breakfast food place years ago. I recognized him immediately, I could not forget someone who is such a jerk to customers, screws up your order, and clearly does not car about his job or how his customers are being treated. Today was the last straw; I have never had a worse sandwich in my years of being obsessed with delicious breakfast foods. I found out his name is Malique (Malik/Maleek/Maliq). I am considering not coming back to this place, or at least only coming in when I know that he's not there. The worst part of all of this is that I actually know the owners. They are such a wonderful couple of people; the female owner used to always personally make me my breakfasts before Malique came in to ruin the party. She would recognize me immediately as I was walking in, I'd wave to her, she'd say "Dimaggio?" (in a wonderfully thick accent), I'd nod, she'd say thank you, and then I'd come back in ten minutes to pick up the best breakfast sandwich I'd ever had. Sometimes I drool thinking about it. Overall, I love this restaurant and I think that its food is exceptional to say the very least. I also think that Malique is the worst employee I've ever seen. Hands down, without question. Other than him, every other employee there that I have dealt with has been an absolute pleasure. tl;dr This place makes the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had, but one employee named Malique is incredibly rude and gives the worst service I have ever seen. Deli zone is a place that makes great sandwiches but their breakfast sandwiches are awesome. I love their sandwiches so much I make sure to bring people here as often as I can and also buy my team breakfast here at least once or twice a month. My team will actually remind me f it has been too long. I have not had their salads but I have had almost every breakfast sandwich and they are all delish. Their f train and and meatball sandwiches are also great. The ambience is pretty basic and it is true that is depends on who is making your sandwich as to how tasty it will be but I think this place is kind of the nice local not a franchise tasty sammiches. Best sandwich I have ever had, flat bush, hands down. Add Jalapeños and you can pick either pastrami or corn beef on this bad boy. A mazing! My order had missing and wrong items. And took over an hour to deliver. The person who came to my door was a little rude. And the store refused to refund me for my missing/wrong items. But My food itself was ok. I'm just disappointed in the Customer Service standards of this establishment. I'm a pretty understanding person, if you don't have something in-stock just call me and let me know, we can figure something out. I spent $30 on two sandwiches, two bags of chips and a cookie. for how expensive that is you should be able to afford better staff. read more

Awful experience ordering from this place. Messed up my sandwich almost 100%. The sandwich even showed up really soggy and gross feeling. I called to complain about the food and spoke to the owner. He was rude and told me that they sent me the correct sandwich and that I was in the wrong. I know what I ordered. The customer service was terrible and I plan on finding another place to order my sandwiches from, and I suggest that everybody else does the same. read more

Food is okay...the place was very dirty. After ordering our food, I was hesitant to eat it because of the uncleanliness of the place.

We decided to try this for lunch one day and were thoroughly displeased. Upon getting to the shop, we were told the grill had been turned off because "the shop had been dead for several hours". That meant no hot sandwiches. We rolled with the punches. We ordered the half-sandwich because the whole sandwich was astronomically overpriced. ~$12+ for a simple sandwich! We ordered turkey avocados, but remember: No grill. No bacon. Also, we were informed that "no one had done prep the night before." So no tomatoes either. We were offered a cookie as a substitution for our missing ingredients, which I appreciated, but I don't think there is really an excuse for a totally empty shop AND no prep work being done in the meantime. The problem could have easily been solved. We won't be returning. Ungodly prices for mediocre sandwiches. No thanks! read more

The food was ok and the ladies working were friendly but both behind the counter where the food was and the dining area were really dirty. Behind the counter was disgusting and there was food and splatter all over the floor and walls. Also, while we were eating a lady walked in and had to wait about 3 or 4 minutes to be acknowledged because the two girls were so deep in conversation with their backs to the counter. read more

I work for a large corporate office just down the street from this Deli Zone, We often order and have several times had issues but today takes the cake. We ordered sandwiches at 9:15 am this morning and at 11;21 the delivery man showed up. One hour and 15 minutes into our wait time we called and asked where our order was, we were told that they were slammed and short staffed, we accepted that. One hour and 45 minutes into our wait time we called again, a man answered the phone. I asked for an explanation and expressed my concern over the fact that we were pushing two hours with our egg sandwiches driving around. This man became very rude and my defenses did come up as I would never have expected this, Calmly I told him I dont understand how it could take that long and wanted to know when exactly the driver would be here. This person hung up on me. I called back and asked for his name and their corporate number and store number, He refused to give me his name or any other information and then told me I would no longer be allowed to order from this store. I will work my hardest to have this Deli Zone boycotted by my office. I never raised my voice and had every reason to be concerned over it taking two hours for delivery of egg sandwiches. Refusal of information that I am entitled to as a consumer is unacceptable and this gentleman even went so far as to tell me he does not even work there. read more

I'd give this place 3.5 stars after a pickup order and delivery experience. The food is pretty good, I've had the F Train and one with turkey, avocado and bacon. The ingredients were fresh and tasty even though they neglected the extra cheese I requested (but charged me) on both occasions. I've also had their potato salad and slaw, wouldn't buy them again. My biggest complaint is that the employees are always stoned out of their minds. My delivery took 2 hours and the kid was baked out of his mind telling me how lost he got (my house is like 5 mins away.) During my dine in experience the kids were so stoned, one had to keep reminding the other to put "onions and sh!t in there." The kid cooking kept burning himself on the grills and loudly yelling the f word over and over. While I found this humorous, I can see where others would have been really put off. I'll continue to grab a sandwich here now and again but it won't be at the top of my list. read more
