OMG! I brought my Toyota RAV4 for the extreme interior/exterior car wash and detailing. To say my car was in desperate need of this is an understatement! I only wish I had before and after photos. customer service was trash here the guy at front counter seem like he had a problem with me bringing my daughter truck here for a wash. he told me $32 for inside and out and barely cleaned the inside of my vehicle then when I asked about it his response was "it's not her fault" as if I asked who was at fault I just wanted the service I paid for or to at least look like it's been thru a car wash.! there was empty water bottles left in the cup holders and it was younger kids who were suppose to do the dash and at least wipe the cup holders ...I dislike that I was really looking forward to coming here based off reviews I seen but when it came to me being here felt like a bother I wasn't allowed to say what I wanted done to my vehicle or ask a timeframe. just an uncomfortable situation, I will never return for $32 read more

I just left there and I noticed that my mats were not attached like the should have been in the second row. I had candy paper and popcorn on the floor in the backseat and a tag from a pair of gloves in the door jam. The outside looks the best out of all and even one side of the truck had splashed dirt on the windows. The did not clean the rear arm rest of door arms! I spent 34.00 for a 10 dollar job! read more

Love this place! This was my first time coming here, (recommended by a friend) and I'm so happy I came! I love the fact it's family owned. I met the owner, Mario, and he's beyond nice. Truly I have been going here for over 20 yrs and in the last 2 yrs it has gone down hill. The workers not all but most of them are lazy asses. I watch them doing the cars and it's like they don't care anymore!!! Every time I get back home I do the inside over again and also wipe down the outside as well. If I'm going to do this I don't need to pay 20.00 for you to do a crappy job on my car !!! Ever since the owner semi retired this place has declined . Now yesterday I was in and they have a new batch of guys, didn't recognize any of them . This one white guy moved like molasses, this other dude looked like he just got outta prison . I was like what the hell is going on here, where are their jumpsuits? They are wearing belts rubbing up against ur car . These guys are on their cell phones talking while it's busy!! It took over 2 hours for me to get in and have my car washed and for them to do a crappy job. Bugs still on car, wheels still dusty, vacuum job done poorly , interior wiped down poorly , lower part of car still had dirt in it. All mats weren't taken out of the car to be cleaned. Truly will give them one more chance and if I'm not happy I won't leave till I am. read more

They must be under new management/owners because they haven't got their timing down right yet. I've been going there since we moved into Alsip in 1988 and even when there was a long line they were fast and efficient. Now more people leave while waiting in their car before they even get inside than actually stay. I've left twice after waiting 30 mins outside. Yesterday I waited and the whole experience took 45 mins. They did a good job and my car looks great but they gotta get their team working more efficiently or they'll lose all their business. Rarely do people have 45 mins for a car wash...no matter how good. read more

Very rude owner/manager. Called to inform my car had been scratched badly, was told in return NOTHING would be done, not even a discount or refund. The inside of my car was scratched in 3 places on the center display, the chrome around my cup holders, a deep gash in the cup holder, and the chrome on the steering. All because they put keys in the cup holders and are rough with keys and drag them obviously. Mind you my car is brand new!!! Very, very rude and ignorant. First and last visit. I will also spread the word not to support this business. I could have given a better review and possibly continued to do business there if the owner/manager was not so rude and ignorant to his customers. Terrible, terrible customer service. The owner mentioned he does not care about keeping customers and will not refund a customer. Wish I could give zero stars! read more

Over the weekend I took my friend's car to this car wash for the first time. When the car was all finished, i noticed a scratch in the passenger tinted window. I contacted a man who worked there and he immediately said there was no way that "water" can scratch the tint then he told me to "get the f*ck out of here." I asked to speak to the manager, of course he wasn't there. I asked this guy to put this issue in writing so that it's not my word against his, of course he refused and started swearing again! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I pulled away and decided to call the place hoping to talk to someone else, nope, it was him. After another terrible conversation, i threatened to call the police, he told me "go ahead", then hung up. Well the outcome of the story is, the scratch was already there. I honestly didn't know. I did go back into the store and due to the fact that the guy wanted nothing to do with me, i gave this info to the girl. Recently started bringing my car here and they do an excellent job. Everybody is friendly and fast. Prices are fair.

This carwash sucks so much so if you ever go please do not tip them the works do not receive any of the tips. The mangers / owners keep the tips to themselves. The owners treat everyone like shit and if they were born yesterday. They take forever to pay their works I've been waiting for my money for over two weeks and it's starting to seem like the owner is avoiding paying me. read more

I've been patronizing this car wash for several years. I always get "the works". They do an excellent job inside & out of my car. The cleaning is thorough and they don't leave 'wet marks' or smears when finished. The only complaints I have is that they don't do "rain checks" (one time I got a car wash & it rained shortly after and stopped. As a result, I thought I would be able to come back & quickly get a touch up. They weren't having it! Lol I expected that they would being that some car washes allow rain checks. It can also be a bit pricy but in the end, it's worth it. I always appreciate a job well done. :-) read more

We've been going to Delicate Touch for a couple years. I do feel they are a bit pricey, but I am always satisfied with their work. If I think they ever miss anything, I politely ask at the end if they could get the smudge, etc. and it's never a problem. We've had our new car for 3 years now and often after getting it washed there, I will be asked if it is brand new! They used to have some special offers like ladies' day, etc., but I don't think they offer them any longer. It would be worth them to continue with those special discounts. Otherwise, all of the workers have been very polite in my experience. read more

I'm very impressed in how well they take pride in what they do. He is always walking around keeping his employees accountable for their work which I think is great! So, I had a big splotch on my car that I thought was a big, bad bird poop. Turns out it was something like tar or asphalt. I was kinda obsessed with getting it off once I started and it wasn't budging. I know now that it was stupid, but in my obsessed craze I employed one of those no scratch green scrubbie pads. Bad idea. I knew i should have taken my obsession and drove it to my car cleaning specialist. Anyway, I thought I took off some of the clear coat on the hood of my newer car. I asked the auto shop near my work around Lake and Damen. The owner glanced - GLANCED at my car and said "$300"... telling me he'd have to redo the entire hood. I was so bummed that I made such an expensive mistake. Bummed, but not that stupid. Had to get another opinion. After work I drove to Delicate Touch (where I should have gone to get the crap off in the first place). Arthur, one of the owners?, inspected the damage and told me I had not scrubbed through the clear coat. He showed me that when you run your hand over the hood (wet and soaped up) that you can't feel a difference in the finish. If I had gotten rid of some of the clear coat, you would feel a slight indentation. I had just scratched it up. He told me they could buff it out and apply a couple of coats of wax and it should be fine - $50. I brought it there a few days later and he delivered as promised. It was ready when promised and like he told me on the phone before I went to pick it up, it looked perfect! The rest of the car was perfectly clean and looking great, too. I've brought my car there for a wash occasionally for many years and have always been happy with the job done, atmosphere and what I consider to be a fair price. As good as it gets. Best money I spent in the long time. I wouldn't say this car wash is pricey, its the average for a car detail in the area, I used a coupon which was provided on their website, which saved me a couple of bucks. Let me start by saying my car was a mess, I haven't detailed it in 3 years and I use it for business. It was DIRTY. Those guys are amazing, they brought the "new car smell" to my beat up Nissan Murano. They fixed few small things on the inside, which is greatly appreciated. I will definitely use them again. I didn't have a problem with customer service, in my opinion they were polite, prompt and courteous. Highly recommend it. read more
