Their only solution was to put a thin paper mat on my floor, even though it's snowing and the roads are full of slush and salt. A paper mat does nothing to protect my carpet, and now I'm forced to drive with my interior at risk for staining, moisture damage, and excessive dirt. They apologized but still charged full price and offered no real resolution -- just a comment that the other customer "comes weekly," which doesn't help me at all today. Mistakes happen, but responsible businesses offer actual solutions. A temporary rubber mat, a replacement, or reimbursement would have been reasonable. Instead, I left with my car unprotected. Very disappointing experience.

I also received complaints that he required his roommates to wash cars without paying them and threatened them with immigration-related consequences. Because of these issues and other lease violations, I decided not to renew his lease. After receiving notice that his lease would not be renewed, he stopped paying rent, forcing me to begin the eviction process. He ultimately moved out before the eviction case was completed. During his tenancy, there was also an incident where he arrived appearing intoxicated, believed I had changed the locks, and called the police. The issue was resolved within minutes when he was able to access the apartment with the correct key. Afterward, he repeatedly harassed me through my Ring cameras, and I have video recordings of him directing derogatory slurs toward Mexican immigrants in the neighborhood. More than a year after moving out, he still has not removed my property address as the registered business address for his company despite repeated requests. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with this individual.

It leaked oil after I got it back. I had to wait for the following season to bring it in. They didn't charge me to stop the oil leak. Got it back and it kept leaking. Took it back a third time, they replaced the clutch kit cover and that fixed the leak. Didn't charge me this last time either, for parts or labor. Highly recommend this shop!

I called these guys, they hooked me up with a tow company and I had the bike brought to them. I guarantee the local Indian dealership not only would have taken forever I'm certain they would have screwed my on the bill. I went to start my car and discovered the battery was dead. AAA replaced the battery, and discovered the engine would crank but would not turn over. I needed to find a repair shop or make arrangements to ship it home. I began a Google search and quickly began calling "classic auto repair shops", asking for help. The replies ranged from "We can't take you for 2 weeks" to "We don't work on cars that old". I finally dialed Old School Classics in Monee IL. Bruce listened patiently to my predicament and said he would help. I had the car towed from downtown Chicago to his shop in Monee. Bruce greeted me and began working on it right away, with help from Mike and Ray. By the end of the day Bruce had isolated the problem to the EFI control module, one of the many modifications I had made to improve performance. Bruce continued working on my car first thing next morning. He reached technical support at Holley, who helped him verify that that the ECM module was fine. They directed Bruce to a hidden relay that tested bad. After replacing the relay, the engine fired up perfectly. I was very grateful to pay this bill, be on my way and avoid a $4,000 charge to ship the car back home. My car ran perfectly for the 2,000 mi trip back to Los Angeles. Bruce, Mike, and Ray are honest "Old School" people. You can trust their expertise. They deliver excellent service quickly and efficiently.

It has been over a week since my car was damaged during service, and I have not received a single follow-up call. During the wash, one of their cloth strips caught on my car's light cover and pulled it loose, leaving it unsecured. This was clearly caused by their equipment. At the time, I was given a written note acknowledging the incident, so I expected them to take responsibility and follow up. However, I have called multiple times and every call goes straight to strange voicemail. No one answers, and no one returns messages. I even went back in person again and gave the note to an employee, who said they would pass it to the owner or manager. Still, no response at all after a week. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. If damage happens during service, the business should take responsibility and work toward a resolution. Ignoring the customer is not the right way to handle it.
