I appreciate her going above-and-beyond on my behalf. The vegetables and fruit received were in great condition. The location is a small, narrow bay in a plaza, but there were a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables in stock. I definitely will return to check out the rest of their products and support this business. Free parking spots are available just outside the entrance to the business.

It isn't as big as a grocery store but it's more personal with friendly service. If you live in the neighborhood, this could easily be your local market. Where you get to know everyone. If you pass by the area walk in and grab some of their bargain veggies! The kids and I had fun on this visit, speaking with the staff and owners. I have been on their mailing list for a while but finally joined them for one of their weekly gardening talks, Talk @ 10. The topic was tomatoes I learned something and it inspired me to purchase a tomato plant (wish me luck). I plan on attending future talks as my schedule permits. The presenter was knowledgeable and patient with all the questions. They have garden plots you can purchase and the is a garden shed that sells gardening items.

We were…read morewalking out of "Out of the Closet" thrift store when we noticed the tents up in the lot across the way. We stopped in to see what there was we could snap up. There wasn't actually many options. In the large tent there is the numerous tables of fruits and vegetables, many organic. There was a couple other tents with random things. One had dietary pills and another was for selling handmade crafts. It would have been a bust if not for the soup guy. He sets up in the front of the market so you cant miss him. He has prepared soups frozen in coolers that you can get for 5 dollars. We got 3 different homemade soups from him, to include a Matzo and a Chicken. We had them later, and yes they were pretty good. So with that redeeming moment I would say stop in on a weekend if you are walking by. You cant miss it, there is a posted sign right off the street for the Green market. We will pop back soon. It's small, really small, only a couple of vendors but a decent enough choice of locally grown fresh vegetables, fruits, homemade soups, pickled and jar canned goods. Among them you'll find Ms. V who has a variety of really good pierogis, preserves, spreads, salsas and other items. You'll find her lasagna and stuffed peppers to be particularly good. Also the "Soup Queen" (remember this is Wilton Manors, if you catch my drift) with various soup offerings; among them a rather good chicken soup. As far as a star rating on this green market, I have to agree with Yelper Tim S. at two stars, but only because it is so small and so very limited in its offerings.

The front wall and roof of the store screamed Candy Candy Candy by it's vibrantly colorful lollipops, gum drops and taffy decor. This was going to be a quick stop since parking on Wilton Drive is limited and notorious for citations by the aggressive meter maid. Based on my concern, the sole employee advised that a few free parking spaces in the rear are available for a strict maximum of fifteen minutes, which is a kind offering. The inside was much larger than the front view of the building reflects. The giant yellow Haribo bear stood proudly by the front door with bags of sour gummies hanging from it's chest. For chocolate enthusiasts, there was an entire section dedicated to fresh chocolate treats. At a quick glance, it was evident that a large amount of the candies were old school big brands. Aside from candies, there were novelty gifts which include coffee mugs with celebrity, pride rainbow and 80's TV shows like Seinfeld, Peanuts or Laverne and Shirley prints. Hundreds of hanging decorative ornaments fill the ceiling but unsure if those are for sale. Very cool candy store with alot of originality and snug parking.
