A bit overpriced and although generally polite, if you have any sort of confusion/discrepancy you'll basically be told that you're lying. Only here for the end of my invisalign, which is also very expensive compared to other places. The actual dental team is quite kind, but the people at the front desk will smile and repeat information to you if you do not agree, and will not attempt to resolve issues adrquately but instead insist you are incorrect. No organization no communication no one has any idea what is going on with their clients. Went in for a cleaning and ended up with a nine month long procedure for an extraction of the tooth. After countless visits each time seem to be a new hidden charge that I needed to pay. After spending well over $9000 I still continue to receive bills. Was guaranteed after finishing the procedure my teeth would look as good as veneers. Each time visiting the office and telling them that I have concerns of the way that my tooth looks they continued to tell me to give it time and it would get better. It has not my one tooth that I've replaced is much shorter than the rest of my teeth and looks awful. And their solution was to shave down the rest of my teeth or to get an entirely new implant. BEWARE: If you have anything other than a routine cleaning done here, expect to waste your entire day here. They seem to overbook the doctor, as she is working on at least 3 people at any given time, running back and forth between each patient. Instead of having everything set up when you come in for a procedure the assistants leave the room for 40 mins at a time to get materials. Not efficient what so ever. Once I was left on nitrious oxide for a few hours waiting to be seen and ended up getting sick and vomiting. I had multiple crowns done and they charge a flat rate of $1100 each and now im in debt for around 6 grand. I cant help but feel like i was ripped off. I would never go back. read more

I was referred here by Baldwin Park family dentistry in order to have some sedation dental work done. Despite me making the appointment and instructing them to obtain the records from my primary dentist, they failed to do so and I showed up for the appointment after spending 20 minutes walking around in the parking lot trying to find the office. I had to inform the office manager that the elevator was not unlocked and available for use. So after sitting there for roughly 90 minutes I never actually saw a dentist and then was informed that I would have to come back for an additional consultation prior to having the actual dental work done. I was then told that the dentist does not work on Fridays, which is a nice luxury if you can afford it, however for those of us that have demanding jobs it makes it almost impossible to get sedation dental work done. I would never go back here to do business. read more

Fabulous offices. Courteous staff. Professional demeanor always. Some of the nicest health professionals I've ever met. Especially Jaimie and Dr. Connibear. They've always taken very good care of me. A few years ago I came to this office needing quite a bit of work done that I had been dreading and putting off. The doctors and Jaimee explained everything to me in a very personal and thorough manner and arranged a treatment plan. They helped me through the process and we got everything done and I couldn't be happier. All you have to do is voice your concerns and they will have a conversation with you. I never experienced a hard sell or up sell approach. Mine was a genuine, sincere, and fair assessment. We now live in Mount Dora and commute to keep our appointments at this dentist office which is a one hour drive each way-if that tells you something. I cannot recommend this dental practice more. read more

I went to this dentist for a broken crown and was pressed to get Invisalign or they told me it would happen again and again. I decided to do the Invisalign after already having braces in my teens. I was told it was take 12 months for the process. I am now in month 17 and have 3 more months to go and my bite is still off. The dentist that I started with did not come in once during the first 14 months to see me to check my progress. Of course they don't tell you that you will have to come in every 6 weeks to get more trays because they don't give them to you at the beginning. So why did I have to come in every month when the dentist didn't even check my progress. Oh, and make sure you take off several hours for the visit because even though I would be assured that it was the first appointment of the day or right after lunch, I would wait at least 30 minutes every time. Multiple times I waited an hour. One time I finally just told the receptionist that I had to go back to work and that I just needed for someone to give me the trays. Remember, I wasn't even waiting to see the dentist, just the person that would take the trays out of the box and write the dates on them and watch me put them in to make sure that they fit. So since the dentist did not check my progress for the 14 month time period, I got to the end and that dentist had left the group so I had to see on of the existing dentists. They didn't know why the previous dentist had not seen me but when I told them that my bite was worse than when I started they checked and agreed that on one side the bite was hitting first and the other side, my teeth were not even coming together. Wow, I just spend $5K for Dellagio Dentists to screw up my bite, worse than it was before. This dentist told me that I needed another year in the trays to fix my bite and I told her that I would not be doing this for that long again. The had to do the scanning all over again and they had another 14 trays that I would have to be wearing. I told them to give me all of the trays so that I could change them every 7 days to get this process done. The dentist removed the "buttons: on my teeth stating that I would not need them on the new trays. Guess what, they came in with the buttons and they started to put them back on my teeth. I told them absolutely not since the dentist had already removed them. So, they reordered the trays... waiting another 2 weeks. When the trays came in, they didn't have the buttons but they were also missing the step up things on the back of the trays, had to reorder, another 2 weeks. The first 7 trays made the bite better but by the 10th tray it seemed like I was going back to the bite being to prominent on one side. I went in to see the dentist and she said if I wanted to stop at that tray that she would make my retainers. Ordered the retainers, waiting two weeks in one tray after already wearing for 2 weeks and they did not fit. So, the dentist office made me come back over to show them that they didn't fit, had to reorder. This time, it wasn't another two weeks, it was 4 weeks before they came in. The office couldn't tell me why other than Invisalign was backed up. So, I had to wear the same trays for over 6 weeks. So long that they actual split down one side and I had to super glue them back together. Oh, and don't forget, you have to pay an additional $600 for the retainers. This dentist office has a 5 or 6 people taking money and making appointments but every time I went over, I had to wait. One time I got there and they said that my appointment had been canceled because they didn't get the trays in. They said they called me but there were no calls on my cell phone from them. My bite is worse than when I started this process and it makes me sick to think I have spent this much money and time to probably have my crowns break anyway. My daughters were looking at this as well but after my experience they will not be using Invisalign or Dellagio Dentists. read more

I went in for a routine 6 month cleaning and came out with a root canal, a crown and this "extensive" cleaning that I was "suppose" to come in and do extra every month until my next 6 monther. They sent me to a "specialist" to do the root canal and I asked the specialist if I really needed a root canal. The specialist said "maybe eventually". I "maybe eventually" am gonna need open heart surgery but I'm not gonna get it done today. Very nice people and a beautiful office. Makes me think of the line "don't buy anything from a salesman that drives a really nice car". Approach at your own risk. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I left feeling angry and decieved. I thought I was going in for a cleaning and then left two hours later without a cleaning and being told I needed two crowns and possibly additional dental work on previous work. I was also pushed to do an "deep gum cleaning" without even having the option of a regular cleaning first. (total estimate of over $3,000 after insurance!) Most dentists will give you a basic cleaning first and not present you with an estimate of all the things that are supposedly wrong with you that you need to get fixed. I have been to multiple dentists, go every 6 months and have never felt that all they wanted was my money. When I asked what tratments where necessary versus recommended, since it was all looking like it would be extremely costly. the only thing they could say was that they offered financial plans and that everything needed to be done! Then the cherry on top, was when I got a letter from my dental insurance saying that the dentist office had gone over the allowed amount on the xrays so there may be a portion I would be responsable for. Other than the Invisalign and the "cancer screening" they always push for relentlessly, the dentist insisted i get a crown on one of my perfectly healthy teeth. Dentist told me one of my teeth had a massive cavity and needed to be operated on right away. I told him i had to go back to work that day but will make an appointment to come back another day. He tried to convince me that he can get it done in 25 minutes or so; but i was adamant...I didn't feel like getting anything done that day. Anyway, i got very suspicious and left their office without getting anything done. Two months later i decided to see a different dentist regarding my supposed 'bad' tooth. The new dentist took a couple of x-rays and inspected my tooth. He said the tooth is 100% healthy. There's no need to get anything done..No crown, no filling, absolutely nothing. Guys please....i beg you...if you're pressured into getting anything done at Dellagio, just walk away and get a second opinion. read more

When I went in for my cleaning they told me I had 8 cavities needing to be filled (8!). Went in for my first filling (not bad) made an appointment for my second fill. When I went in they handed me paperwork to agree to a root canal "if necessary" I explained that I didn't know I needed a root canal and I would like to research it first before they preformed one on me. After the woman pushed and pushed saying how I would be in tremendous pain soon if I didn't get it done she finally got the hint I didn't want them touching that tooth. I told her they could preform a filling on a different tooth that definitely did not need a root canal. After she numbed me up the dentist came in and she looked at him and said "we are working on a different tooth today, SHE doesn't believe in root canals". What! That wasn't what I said at all. I was thrown off that I was 25 and needed a crown after they would have done the root canal and I needed to prepare myself for that. They proceeded to preform the filling and it was horrendous, the most pain I have ever been in, it seemed he was trying to get me back for not letting him preform a root canal on the other tooth. I have been petrified of dentist ever since. Anyways, this visit was 2 years ago. I am finally writing a review because last week I went to a different dentist and had that one tooth filled with no problem at all. This dentist claimed there was no way I would have needed a root canal. I absolutely love the office I am going to now and upset that this place is still in business for how much they rip people off and preform what seems to be unnecessary procedures. read more

This place is a joke. Where do I start. They ask you to come early, so I do. I get there 20 minutes early. I watch as people walk in and get called ahead of me. This is more than 20 minutes after I am scheduled. To have an appt. ahead of me, they have to be late. Now it's 40 minutes after I get there and 20 minutes after my appt. time. I tell them I am walking out and they act like I am the problem. She says they have you blocked for an appt. time. Really, why am I not called back then? They act like they could care less. Arrogance come to mind. It's a small, hard to find place, so I am surprised at the attitude. Maybe if someone in charge sees this, they might care. Emily at the front desk was nice but useless and no help. I am posting this on face book and everywhere else I can find. I thought I might get a phone call apology but be warned people. They just talk you into expensive procedures without really being interested in your welfare. The dentist and his staff barely look at what is currently going on in your mouth. They want to talk you into some high tech laser cleanings, invisalign and cancer screenings. I wanted to have them look at a tooth which was giving me intermittent pain and instead they were focused on talking me into invisalign. The few times I went I hardly saw the dentist but had a tech who didn't seem to know what she was doing. She took the same impression 5 times. Will not be going back. The filling I did get felt rough and sharp and I had to go back and tell him to please adjust it as I never had a filling feel like that. read more

Honestly they are pleasant, fairly professional. run some of the newest tech in dentistry and have some very skilled people on staff. Sounds like the beginning of 5 star review doesn't it..... Well that is about where it ends. As other have said they are truly out for the bottom line.. their bottom line not yours. Me and my wife moved into the area, so searched for a New dentist. Visited their website and interested enough made our appointments. We have some really good insurance.... which you can see the dollar signs roll in their eyes at that point. 1st year for me and the wife rounded out almost 8 grand between us. Invis-align for the wife and basic stuff. mine more on the in-depth preventative. telling me all the horror stories that could happen to me..... Scare tactics i suppose but went with it... 2nd yr totaled out another 5 grand between us. continuing the work on me and telling the wife that her crown would need to be replaced before the end of the invis-align so that her retainers would not have to be changed if she did it after... 3rd year rolls around and I ended up cracking a front tooth.. went in the estimate was going to be like 10 grand. they wanted to crown bicuspid to bicuspid on my uppers because i had a fracture in that tooth i chipped. excuse me...... can you not just fix that tooth for now and we can talk about this crowning glory later.. no no you have to do it now, there is no other way to fix that tooth. I went back to the Dentist i had over 12 yrs prior. much further away but wanted an opinion i trusted.. he did all new x-rays and what not. Ending of the story is... All the scare tactics they were shooting at me. were a lie. i had no bone loss. pictures were the exact same from 12 yrs ago to current for the x-ray's. They agreed that i could USE a crown on the tooth i chipped, and that to just get a perm white smile to crown Bi to Bi would be a good option.. just not NECESSARY. They resin filled the cracked tooth. After my wife finished with the invis-align stuff that's the last we went there. Money money money!!! They do have your interests at heart... i think.. but they DEFINITELY have theirs in mind. read more

If you are looking for an amazing dentist and oral hygienist, I'd highly recommend you giving this facility a shot. Finding the office is a little confusing because there is some light construction outside right now. (They could probably due Witte some additional signage) Entering into the office, the temperature was cool and there was refreshments offered in the main area. The overall office felt spacious with big windows in the main waiting area. The receptionists all greeted me with a smile and checked me in. I showed up 15 minutes early and filled out my paperwork. I was seen on time and I saw Jaime, the oral hygienists. Let me say now, she's who I'd recommend you ask for. She greeted me with a smile, shook my hand and really heard my concerns before she started. I'm very sensitive and my gums do bleed easily so going to the dentist is a real pain. She used a liquid numbing agent and was very efficient in getting the overall exam and cleaning done with zero pain. She offered some great advice on some other techniques to try when it came to my oral care. She kept really positive and professional conversation with me throughout the experience. She took the time to visually show me the areas of concern and how they got that way. It was super informative. I met the dentist - I am terrible at remember names, but she was wonderful as well. Pricing wasn't bad either with my insurance. They used ear pieces to be able to communicate with the front desk so they didn't have to run back and forth which maximizes efficiency (which I thought was neat). The overall experience was phenomenal and I have to say I look forward to my next visit. read more

This dentist must just see $$ when a new patient walks in. Sure the office is trendy and looks nice but who cares? That is just a facade to mask the fact they are about to rip you off. The staff is unprofessional. The assistants/hygienists don't know/care what they are doing. The dentist will talk you into invisalign and expensive procedures instead of checking your teeth to see what work really needs to be done. They do not let up pressuring you to agree to expensive procedures. Their prices are off the charts, too. The work I did have done was horrible. Had to have it redone elsewhere. From everything I am reading here, my situation was far from unique. How is this office still operating? I have never gone to a dentist who honestly seemed to be charming when he was yrying to talk me into costly procedures and then rushed and unconcerned when he just had to replace a filling. read more

I have been going to Dellagio Dentist for about 3 years now since I moved to Orlando from Michigan. The office is very nice and the staff is very professional. I personally HATE going to the dentist and dreaded going like the plague but ever since I started going to Dellagio the experience has been much better. I have been interested in Invisalign for a while now and I mentioned it to the staff once and felt like they kind of hounded me about starting the treatment but after I was pretty firm about not wanting to take on the financial costs at the moment they backed off. My only real frustration was during my last visit when it took 45 minutes for them to even really start cleaning my teeth so considering the work they did took about 15-20 min total and i was at the office for an hour and a half, i wasn't too happy. Overall however I like this dentist and would recommend them to my friends and family. read more

I have been going to this dentistry for about 3 years. The staff is efficient and their equipment along with their office is modern. The staff is always friendly and professional. However, I don't believe I will go back. I have an issue with the back of two of my teeth. I was told it is a result of the toothpaste I am using. Even the hygienist thought it was odd that it only occurred with two of my teeth. I discovered that the reason I am having this issue is because of how my salivary glands are located. It seems like an experienced dentist would have seen this condition before and would have been able to identify immediately and correctly. I also grind my teeth at night. My previous dentist where I use to live had a device made for me that is like a retainer to wear at night. Dr. Badger said I could eliminate this problem with invisalign. Every time I go there they try to convince me that invisalign would benefit me somehow. They also try to get me to agree to an oral cancer screening. I use to go to a great dentist where I use to live along in other areas and never had products and services pushed on me. I don't agree with the one star reviews on here because this isn't a terrible dentistry. However, the subtle way they try to push invisalign and cancer screenings are getting to be too much and has made me lose trust in them. read more

While I found the dental care to be adequate, was very disappointed with front office. They were particularly inept at helping us to understand what I could expect insurance to pay for and what I would pay for out of pocket. Even when I requested confirmation prior to treatment, they continually surprised me with additional billing amounts. In fact, I do not believe there was a single visit I or my children had which did not result in additional out of pocket amounts being due from me over what I had expected to pay. One of the other nurses even made a comment to her when they thought I was not around saying that " It's not OK just to go to church but she need to be accepting" I went once and will not be going back. NEVER GO TO THESE DENTISTS!!! If I had written this review after my first visit I would have given them 5 stars. I found Dellagio after moving to FL when a tooth started to hurt. They did x-rays and said I needed 4 fillings and root canal. That all the fillings I needed were "old fillings that had gone bad". I did the root canal and the filling in the tooth next to it replaced. I had a wonderful experience. However, the week before my crown came in the tooth with the new filling started to hurt. I was told it was just my new bite working out. Cut to two weeks late, I was in terrible pain and went back. Instead of doing an x-ray (the only way to prove a root canal is needed), they just told me I needed to come back ASAP (like two days) because my tooth was infected and needed a root canal. When I questioned them on if the filling was cracked (otherwise how does it get infected if they had cleaned and filled it) the filling was "perfect" and that my bite must have cracked the tooth underneath the filling. What got my blood boiling was when I pressed on not wanting to pay the full amount for a root canal after I had paid for a filling that didn't work, I was informed that the first time I came in it had been discussed with me that the filling was a first step and I always needed a root canal on this tooth. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Why would I pay for a filling ($200!) just to need a $1000 root canal a few weeks later. After demanding to get my first set of x-rays sent to my previous dentist (to which this was advised against, because they are lying scam artists) I was given an antibiotic and no follow up appointment made. After developing a reaction to the antibiotic, I called Dellagio back. I was open to coming back in for an x-ray and seeing what needed to be done. I was honest with my hesitation and APOLOGIZED for my angry tone that I was in pain and frustrated. I had to get a loan to pay for the first root canal and can't afford another one. The dental hygienist was so rude and kept telling me that x-rays couldn't prove a root canal. That the dentist WOULD NOT give me an x-ray, that Conibear just wanted to go in for the root canal and decide from there if it needed one. So after she would have drilled away the tooth to the nerve, would she decide if I needed a root canal. Let that sink in. This practice is a scam. Please do not go here. I was impressed by their understanding of dental phobia and nice building. I even sent my fiance here for his wisdom teeth extractions (to which they didn't prescribe him an antibiotic and he got a HORRIBLE infection) I am left with two thoughts on this practice. 1) The place is dirty to have given both me and infection UNDER my "perfect" filling and to have infected by fiance's mouth. or 2) They purposefully drilled too deep on my filling hoping pain would come and I would go along with a root canal. I am hoping the former rather than later because I want to not think the worst of people. BUT PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!! read more

I went there on one of their dental exam specials. I ended up paying a bit more as they told me that I need to get an additional exam which was necessary (I am not complaining about this). The office was nice and staff was friendly. The hygienist was professional and I spoke to the Dr. for 5 minutes. It is a nice looking office. H-v, I finally learn that a teeth cleaning is over 500.00 and they also referred me to another doctor for some type of therapy related to my teeth who I had to see before I did this expensive teeth cleaning. Bear in mind I did not even get an estimate yet on how much any future dental work would cost. I guess since they are in a ritzy part of town and in a nice building, the customer pays for all this. I will not come back. Maybe if you have full coverage insurance it is a good place but if you do not, I would go somewhere else. read more

This dentist is only in it for the money! I should have noticed when they had more business workers than receptionists and dentists. They called me to have my boys come in for an appointment. I told them that my insurance only covers one cleaning and that they will come in the new year. Then she called me back and told me that my insurance would cover everything and to come in with no worries. So I brought them in and they performed services that were not told to me and charged. I paid my co-pay, but after the visit I got a big bill. I called and told her that they told me to come in because my insurance covered the cleanings. She told me there were other services that were done that I had to pay for that, but they were never agreed to. I asked her to take it off and she said she would check. I got another bill - then when I wouldn't pay it, they sent me to a creditor! Unbelievable - so a $110 unjust charge grew to a $265 charge that went as bad on my credit! DO NOT TRUST THIS DENTIST!!!!!! read more

Update*** FINALLY had a conversation with the "New" office manager Heidi. After being put on hold for 20 minutes she finally got on the phone and asked me to tell her the whole story...again. As I'm explaining what has happened she is trying to tell me it isn't true....she was basically trying to poke holes in my experience. You know when you're talking to someone and realize they are so busy trying to prove you're wrong that they don't even listen??!!?? In this woman's case she didn't listen or give a crap. After going thru this entire ordeal she finally says that it all boiled down to the fact that my Invisalign treatments should've been over by now so they don't really care and aren't responsible. When I asked for Dr Badger to call me (who was the one who told me the whole spiel when I first became a patient) she told me he wouldn't want to talk to me. I'm in complete shock at how horrible this place is. I've NEVER experienced such a blatant rip off!!! read more

I went to this dentist for a root canal. There were several things I was not at all pleased with. My first complaint is that the experience felt like a factory and you are moved from room to room. It was a very impersonal experience. My second complaint was when the male Dr dentist finally came into the room and looked at my tooth he agreed that I needed a root canal but I found it extremely rude when he asked the assistant in the room rather loudly "Make sure she has insurance to cover the root canal" I thought that was the rudest thing to say. The other thing I found strange was that the assistants kept pushing Invisalign to me. I thought it was strange because my teeth are really straight and I have always get compliments on them. I have been to a few other dentists before and one after and I have never experienced anything like this. At the Dellagio Dentist they even messed up my payment plan towards the end. Right now I am SO happy to be going to another dentist where I feel they really care and they are not the factory money making business Dellagio is. As the previous reviewer stated I also felt that they tried really hard to push unnecessary services like Invisalign when they were not needed at all. Especially when other dentists never brought these services up to me just to make money. I only went a couple of times to Dellagio dentist and I am so glad I no longer go there. Buyer beware this dentist needs to be on channel 9 news. I never seen an office try to upswell so hard in my life. Dr. Badger tried to talk me out of getting a bridge for almost an hour even his dental hygienist tried to tag team me while in the chair. He even went as far to say he would do an implant for the same prices as a bridge because bridge work is so bad for people. He stated he couldn't sleep at night knowing he had done a bridge. He left and came back to me stated his finances person called my insurance and was told that for me to do an implant it will only cost me $160 more to do so. Something said don't trust him call yourself and I did my insurance company told they strongly advise me to do a pre-estimate prior to having work done. I immediately told them to submitted it to my insurance company for their approval they told they would submitted right away. Two weeks later I called my insurance company nothing was submitted because they knew it was unlikely I would be able to get it approve. That office wanted to stick me with a high bill to pay. Whatever you do DON'T Go too this office. Unless you wanna buy a used car or a box full of lies! I know to well what Kirk was speaking of! I'm going to report them to my insurance company hopefully they remove them for insurance fraud. read more
