I heard Dells was great pizza. Down by post office we go by often. Didn't stop at first because outside looks ???? But inside its Cool and friendly. Ordered Dells Special. Gots everything that is a Great Pizza. With lots of Real Cheese. Fast , hot and ummmmm. Cut funny but bite size pieces. Thin crust, chewy, sauce is tastes and not bland tomato sauce. Its been a while but I thought I would give it another chance. Its gotten worse, the service is so bad, the female owner has no personality nor does she care. I watched her set my beverage on the bar for the waitress to bring to me, she never told her waitress my drink was there. So 15 minutes go by until I went up and found my drink sitting there. The waitress was trying her best, but with a boss like that,, good luck. I have been in the restaurant business for 35 years, this was bad. the bill came to $ 75.00 2 beers 2 margaritas 2 large Hawaiian pizza`s. Great pizza but don't be surprised when you walk in, it is a bar. Lots of families with kids go there. Building is very old but they are renovating at this very moment. Don't pass this up for great pizza. read more

The pizza is great the other food ick. There are drink specials in a flip menu on the tables but when I ordered a mai tai (off that flip menu) I was told they don't have the stuff to make them (or many other items). So iodes a basic Margarita on the rocks and it tasted like dish dodo. The decor is shabby ... We moved to Phoenix from Chicago many years ago and almost gave up on trying to find Chicago style pizza. Then we moved to Az City and did our shopping in Casa Grande, we heard about Dell's and decided to give it a try not really expecting much. OMG, we LOVED it and could not believe we found Chicago style pizza in a small town (which is much bigger now). I'm not crazy about their wings, they taste good but are really small. I know what pizza should look like, and how it should taste. I see that many people have enjoyed the pizza here, but look closely at the photos. Unless you enjoy baked dough with tasteless toppings SMOTHERED in a cheese product, then do NOT order the pizza. I do not know where they came up with the recipe for this. Just inject some cheese wiz into your arteries and call it a night. We had a half sausage, half pepperoni and you couldn't see the toppings. Left 3/4s of the pizza uneaten. Preceded this disaster with some fried zucchini and mushrooms which had a coating that approached chocolate in color. Over cooked or old oil. At least the beer was cold. read more

I think the Dell's Special is the absolute best pizza in town. Since they remodeled a few years ago and cleaned the inside of the place it made a world of difference. It tends to be a bit loud inside the restaurant but that is to be expected in a "sports bar". The only downfall is the older lady who works behind the bar... she is just not too friendly or nice. I stopped by the other day to try something NEW. Italian restaurants are few and far between in Casa Grande. I ordered Spaghetti and Meat Sauce.Well I first got a very basic salad lettuce and maybe a slice of tomatoes that had been diced. When lunch came it had what looked like 3 very small dinner rolls that were cut in half and toasted. The spaghetti was the worst that I had ever tasted I could only finish about half of it. The waitress asked how it was and I told her that it was awful and asked where they got that flavorless sauce, she told me the owner makes it herself. I told her that Ragu in the jar would be a better product. They seemed to care less about the lunch I was just severed. I paid the bill ,but will never go back again...I'll stick with Olive Garden. read more

Dells pizza is the best in town. The crust comes only one way & my favorite toppings are beef with green chiles, the cheese is layered nicely. They have good wings & other bar foods too that are good. The pizza burger is pretty good. read more

Called in our pizza order for pick-up. You walk into a dark, eeery bar wondering where to go pay, because no one greeted me. 2 pizzas were over $40.00, over priced for the quality. Dough was almost un-chewable, reminding us of cardboard. read more

I called to order the 2 medium pizzas with 1 topping each for 17 bucks. So as I'm ordering the first pizza is pepperoni, and the second one, I want to add an extra topping. Well the lady on the phone, literally gets mad and interrupts me saying "there's no exceptions". I tried to explain that I was willing to pay for the topping, but she was completely rude and shut me down at every turn. So I asked to order just two mediums with the toppings I wanted, and she tells me the total was going to be like 32 dollars!!!!!!! I started to ask how that was right, charging me 17 bucks for mushrooms. This woman literally yelled at me and hung up on me!!! I couldn't believe it, as I've never been treated like that anywhere before. I'm the type of person that gets along with everyone, if I get the wrong order at a restaurant, I'll just eat it as long as long as it was an honest mistake. So I don't argue a lot is what I'm saying. This woman should be fired!! I have never said that about anyone before, but I've lived in Casa Grande my entire life, and have never had that happen to me before. I hope the lady wasn't the owner! Whoever owns Del's, I'm sure you've had complaints on this woman before, she is ruining your business!!! Sad read more

Pizza is good, wings are delicious, garlic bread is ok..... Overall overpriced. The garlic bread was $4.50, and looked like they put a couple pieces of cheese on two hot dog buns and heated it up. read more

This has to be the DIRTIEST restaurant in Casa Grande. How on Earth hasn't the Health Dept. come to shut them down by now? As another reviewer mentioned it's rather dark when you walk in but not dark enough to disguise the grease and dirt caked onto the ceiling and floors. The bathroom isn't even sanitary enough to wash your hands in, trust me. The food itself is overpriced and trying to get a refill on your soda takes an act of Congress since the servers like to hang out at the bar or kitchen and ignore their customers. We ordered a pizza and it was just ok but made us sick within an hour of leaving the place. Stay away from this place! read more

Quality has been lacking over the past couple of years. Can't believe the cooks would let a burnt pizza out of the kitchen or wait staff serve it. Twice in house had to send the pizza back and more recently to go the crust was burnt to the point of being unable to eat. Called and response was ok not even an apology. Mice, mice, mice. As for the food, it's hit or miss dependent on the cook that night. Some nights you could get your typical bar food that satisfy's your bar hunger. Other nights, it's amatuer hour in the kitchen. The decor and atmosphere gives it a nice corner bar feeling like back east, so 5 stars on that. The prices for drinks are great, especially during happy hour...So 4 out of 5 on that. The bathrooms are small and disgusting and need refurbishing badly. So a 1 out of 5. Oh, yes...back to the mice. It was about May of 2011 and we had gone out for a bite to eat at Dell's. Halfway through our meal, my gal sitting across the table from me saw a mouse scurry into the kitchen. I laid down my meatball burger paid the waitress and left, we haven't been back since. Now I understand that these things can happen, but on the way out we told the waitrees and she blew it off as a singular occurance. Her lack of surprise in telling her about a mouse in their restaurant convinced me that this probably isn't the first time she heard about a mouse in the house. Either way, I know mice get into everything and poo everywhere. I suggest getting a pest service in there or renting a cat.
