This is my third and last time trying this place. The first time was without complaint, which is why I tried it again. The second time, my turkey burger was completely raw and mushy on the inside. Also delivered and unable to return, as I had just been released from hospital and couldn't drive. I ordered a Cincinnati Dog, which is a chili cheese dog, thru door dash most recently, and they delivered a sealed bag with a plain hot dog. No chili, cheese, or onions. Upon calling the restaurant, Terence assured me that he bagged it himself and it had to be the mistake of the delivery service. He then offered to remake the meal, but of course, I'd have to pick it up. Upon my arrival, Terrance only remade the hot dog with no fries, and without any further accommodation, leaving me to return home to cold fries. Love this place! It's a great place to catch a game and a burger. There are plenty of T.V.s from any angle. The patio is dog friendly, during the cooler months. Great casual vibe. I have been here several times with friends and family. I took a break because the service has been disappointing. There are a lot of new employees. The turnover seems to be on the high side. I just wish the service was more consistent. We usually sit at the bar for faster service, especially for drinks. Our server/bartender, who was male, never asked how our food was after it was delivered. He also failed to ask us for soda or beer refills. The other bartender, who was female, acknowledged us, once we finished our food. We ordered pretzels and they were over cooked. Very disappointing. My cheeseburger sliders with French fries were tasty. My draft beer was on the warm side. For the price, I expect great service. There a lot of new places that have opened. This was my first visit to CB&C. I love their specials. We arrived during happy hour and tried the fried pickles and Frank & Stein. Both were very yummy. I love their house made chips! We then split a Century Burger (special of the week) which was messy and delicious. I appreciate being able to cook the burger to order as the Hubbs enjoys medium rare. CBCB has been a favorite of mine for years but I had stopped going just because I was overly cautious as my tummy issues bothered me more and more. Today I was invited to lunch with a friend at CBCB. The young man who brought my food proudly told me that they had a dedicated frier. Dedicated spatulas and utensils. But I did not hear if they had a dedicated prep space (happens when you've got a group of people at the table). I ordered the classic CBCB which is greasy, salty and all around nummy. I sub out sweet potato fries. My sorrow is that they are fries and not tots. I do feel the tots are better. My companion opted for a build your own. They chose no bread instead of a gf bun. They efficiently ate all of the burger. This is usually a testament to the enjoyment of the meal. My last comment, the young man who proudly described their GF awareness css as me by and saw my plate still mostly full. I did not catch his concern but my friend did. I looked and said, "oh, it's fantastic. I'm just full". Tha art of gagging a clients satisfaction by the amount of food still on their plate is lost. Way to go young man. Ugh! I just love this place! I constantly reminisce about their impossible burger. YUM. It is so delicious. My boyfriend likes the pastrami burger. The nachos are fire. The Mac and cheese is MY FAVVVVORITEEEE. I wish I could order and eat 3 plates at once LOL. They have great cocktails and beer also! My favorite was the raspberry mojito. They have great game day deals on drinks! The service is great here. Everyone we've been helped by has been very friendly and helpful. They always serve us with a smile. My husband and I really enjoy coming here. The biggest appeal is sitting at the outdoor bar. It was busy for the lunch rush today, but the day was so beautiful, and there are always sports to watch. Today, we ordered the monthly beers--Kilt Lifter and Bad Birdie. Kilts are always good, and I was in the mood for a blonde beer, but wasn't a fan of the birdie. Not sure what turned me off to it except I didn't really feel a richness of flavor. That's cool though; there's always more beer to choose from next time we come in. Husband got the Prime Rib Dip sandwich, and I got the Ring of Fire. I'll be on fire for an evening but totally worth it. Wellll... I must say. I been coming for a while almost since they opened. Loves their happy hour etc n food. Im a beer drinker more detailed Muchelob ultra. Well to my surprise ULTRA is no longer on happy hour apparently due to its popularity n other beers arent getting pushed as much. Very disappointing. I refuse to pay $6.50 for a pint of ultra when elsewhere or before was less. Now, its making me NOT wana go n just find elsewhere. Please change this policy and bring back ultra on happy hour. These bartenders are the inconsistent and subjective customer service people I have ever dealt with. I have been coming here since this place open and I typically sit at the bar so that I can a rapport with bartender so that may get some symbolism of consistency for customer service, That unfortunately has has happened these folks seem to care more their friends or randoms than someone who's consistent and traditionally tips well. I don't know what the hiring practices are but, something needs to be looked at. I have to say there are two bartenders that seem to have an understanding of customer service they tend to work on Sunday evenings. Absolutely no information on ingredients, calories, serving sizes, etc. They cannot tell you what is in the food they're cooking. I showed up around 3 pm and there seemed to be about 15 people there so there wasn't a lot going on and nothing really impressionable happened. The whole staff was quick and friendly, and they all moved with pep in their step. Lots of TVs and enough decorations to not be bland, but also not be overwhelming and cluttered. They have a good sized menu with a variety of items and sides. I ended up getting a burger and fries and it came out in a reasonable time and it was good food! I would return again. read more

Friday night, we didn't want to cook. Headed down to CB &CB and checked in. They said it'd take about 20-25 minutes but we were probably seated under 15 mins. Waitress Mattie was super sweet and attentive. Ordered the prime dip and turkey club, side of two ranches and two beers. Really good food, except for the ranch is not great - tasted like Hidden Valley IMO, disappointed they don't make their own for .50/pop. Lastly, the AC.....It was very hot inside. We walked in and were excited that there was no wait time, expecting quick service. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We waited about 5-7 minutes before even being acknowledged (they later explained it was due to server sections being misplaced). Once we were finally greeted, our server, Jenelle, took great care of us. We ordered a pretzel appetizer, a classic burger, an "Open Pit" burger, a 22 oz beer, a "Home Run" margarita, and two waters. Our appetizer came out in about 10 minutes, brought by the manager. At that point, we mentioned that it had been over 15 minutes, and we still didn't have our waters. He apologized and quickly brought them out, followed shortly by our margaritas. Thankfully, that was the last hiccup of the night. The food was absolutely delicious. The jumbo salted pretzel was hot, super soft, and paired perfectly with the delicious cheese sauce--we even kept it to dip our fries in. Both of our burgers were cooked exactly as requested (medium well and well done) and tasted amazing. The "Home Run" margarita was also really good--one drink was enough to get me feeling buzzed! Despite the rocky start, we truly appreciated Jenelle's excellent customer service. When she realized our drinks had taken too long, she went out of her way to get them taken off our bill and made an effort to turn our experience into a positive one. Where do I start- First off it shouldn't take 15 minutes before you have to leave a restaurant and not be acknowledged/greeted one time by your server. And no, they were not busy at all! In fact, we are pretty sure she blatantly ignored us. She talked to every table including a couple that came in after us and purposefully didn't look our way, kept her back to us etc. My family and I were trying to have a nice Sunday dinner and were forced to drive an extra 30 minutes to go to the chandler blvd CBCB. I have young children and it is absolutely ridiculous. We are respectful, clean up after our kids, and honestly tip very well. The previous time we went which was about 3 days prior my mom got maybe 7 fries.... 8/10 times service and or food is bad. At CBCB in PHX 9/10 is always great! The Server was only worried about flirting with and sitting at the single guys table trying to get a bigger tip.... I've been to this location about half a dozen times and had friendly service and fairly consistantly decent food each time. As advertised, the cheeseburgers are cooked to your preference well, and there is a large selection of beers. If you need a cheaper meal, going from 3 PM - 6 PM for their Happy Hour is a total win on price. The only thing that was offensive was their macaroni and cheese dishes, which ended up having mushy noodles that seemed mismatched and broken in a weakly flavored cheese sauce. On the plus side, it came with a nice crispy topping, which was the best part of it. But the rest of the food I've tried from them has been good, though not necessarily spectacular.
