Outside the Delly Deck

While vacationing in the Virgin Islands, we found this delightful place to eat breakfast. This place was awesome. Located at the West Indian dock where the cruise ships come in. We ordered vegetarian omelettes and I had a side order of potatoes with rye bread. The food was delicious! Then to top it off as any islander would, we had two cups of "bush tea" literally lemon grass! So yummy! It's so much stronger than the one we have at home. The soil it's grown in makes all the difference. When visiting St. Thomas stop by the Delly Deck and sweet "Mary J" will greet you with her beautiful smile and bright personality. Enjoyed this eating at this place and I recommend it to the community.

My family and I ate here nearly every day while we were in St. Thomas. They are also one of the few brunch spots open on Sundays. The saltfish and Johnny cake breakfast on the weekends is absolutely delicious. My kids especially loved the pancakes. They were scrumptious!

We stopped in for lunch during our time off the boat. Mary is our waitress, she's very nice. To drink I got the Caribbean Romance and he got the Pain Killer. We both god BLTs and fries for lunch. He got his BLT about 30 minutes before I did, he had been done for a while when mine got served. Very slow service.

We stopped here on our way back to the airport for breakfast and I ordered the French toast, bacon, eggs and toast. They gave me a lot of bacon. More than I could eat. My cheese eggs were VERY cheesy and my French toast was good. I also ordered a caramel macchiato but it tasted like it was made out of a machine. I didn't enjoy it. The local was perfect, right by all the shops and the service was very nice. It was good for a good, quick, American breakfast.

We have been to St. Thomas several times - and on this day, a group of three of us went to this place since we wanted to try something new. Paid roughly $40 for three people. Had the best BLT and side salad and that is the reason I will be returning just to have it again on our next cruise.

Back in the day Delly Deck was "a must " when visiting St. Thomas. It saddens me to say this will be my last dining experience here as the quality of food is below standards, the wait is too long and the service... let's just say it left me shaking my head. I will say this tho... the staff appear to be doing their best. Thank you for that

Friendly service and I enjoyed my breakfast! The french toast was very tasty! I'd eat here again.

We visited the spot, as all of the restaurants were closed on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised with the good service and delicious food. We had Two eggs, toas,t pancakes, and hashbrowns. It was all very delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the pancake was buttery and soft.

Our favorite breakfast stop in St. Thomas. We got the Eggs Benedict and some French toast and it was so yummy. Their prices are also cheap, I think $8-$10 for a plate. The service was also quick. Everything was delicious, right down to their orange juice.

Well the food was ok... it's a nice little place to go if you're getting off a cruise ship for the day. But do not be short on time. As with any island no one is in a hurry and you will wait to get everything. I just stuck with safe food.... a pancake and home fries. They do have coke products which was great because I'm sick of Pepsi! Not a fan, lol. People are friendly and like I said it's a good spot for a meal before shopping or an excursion. So don't be in a rush and order simple foods. Give it a try.

Very very slow service. Omelette came out 15-20 minutes before my girlfriend's salad. Food was ok. Mediocre place. 2.5-3 stars.

Beware of the Automatic Gratuity…read more We stopped at Hook'd USVI during our visit to St. Thomas. The location is great, the marina views are nice, and the food was okay. We ordered the Fish Tacos, Jerk Smashed Burger, and a Frozen Rum Runner. What future customers need to know is that Hook'd automatically added a 20% gratuity to our bill, even though we were not a large party. Then, at the bottom of the receipt, they included another tip guide suggesting 18%, 20%, and 22% tips. In my opinion, this is misleading. Many people are used to adding a tip when they receive the receipt and may not notice that a 20% gratuity has already been added. It's easy to accidentally tip twice. I have absolutely no issue rewarding good service, but restaurants should be upfront and transparent when gratuity is automatically included. Customers shouldn't have to carefully inspect the bill to avoid paying an extra 20% on top of an already-added 20%. The food was decent, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the billing practice left a bad impression. Before you sign your check, review it carefully and make sure you know exactly what has already been added. Bottom line: Decent food, nice location, but check your receipt closely. The automatic 20% gratuity and additional tip suggestions can easily lead to double tipping if you're not paying attention. I've attached a photo of the receipt so customers can see exactly what I'm referring to.

We were able to sit right next to the water and get some fresh air. The place isn't too loud, but very inviting. They have a bottomless mimosa option and this place feels like it would be a great brunch vibe Service: 4 stars. Staff was super nice and waitress was helpful in regards of what to order. There was an issue with steak being overcooked and they were able to replace it, but it did take taking to 3 different people, which I thought was weird Drinks: 3.5 stars. The Rum away with me was absolutely wonderful, but the White Russian was not good at all Food : 4.5 stars Steak and eggs was fantastic. We had to get the steak recooked, but when it was made well, it was a top shelf steak. Crab cakes: also would recommend! No notes here Breakfast burger:,really loved the fact that the patty was smashed. I was worried that there was too much going on but everything combined quite nicely. I got the breakfast potatoes and they weren't really anything special. Overall this place was a 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up to 5 because the vibe and views were immaculate

It's an open air restaurant so all the seats have views but we were ocean front. Our server Michele was friendly and pleasant. Service was very good from start to finish. The restaurant is not inexpensive but we managed to get out for less than the $200 I predicted when we sat down. I started with a very pleasant local IPA which was just perfect after a day of travel. The wife had prosecco and the kid had sparkling water. For an appetizer we had fish bites which tasted a lot like chicken. There was a spicy sauce that was a very nice accompaniment. For entrees, the wife had a papaya salad and the kid had Caesar salad. Both were excellent. I had the ceviche which was fresh with no fish smell or taste. The fish was "cooked" perfectly so it was tender. The homemade plantain chips were perfect. Overall, a very pleasant meal with killer views and great service. I couldn't find the Patio as a Google Maps option, so here you go. For the record, this was a find, and we are so glad we chose to eat on the patio. The Patio is outside, so be aware. However, the prices are half of the restaurant and are more of a simple meal than the restaurant. Lexie was our server and, honestly, one of the best and more memorable servers I can remember having in a long time. She was professional and yet down to earth and conversational. We threw her questions, and she was honest about her recommendations. PLUS, she was right in her opinion! So, we ordered three items off the menu with the Ahi Nachos, Grilled Mahi Sandwich, and Mudpie being the items suggested. All three were great, and the nachos were a highlight until the HUGE Mudpie stole the show. Cold coffee ice cream with Oreo crust and chocolate drizzle hit the spot watching the sunset. At the end of the day, The Patio is spacious with a full bar and sits right on the beach. It can get warm, and when the sun went down, the bugs came out; however, it didn't take away from our meal and our incredible service from Lexie.
