Unfortunately, this is the post office that I'm zoned for. It really is a complete clown show. The employees are rude, miserable human beings who legit act like you are bothering them. I mean, this is your job, right? You don't have to kill me with kindness or be my best friend but have some decency and some respect for the public. IN PARTICULAR, I would like to call out the manager/supervsor Jason, who is incredibly rude, with ZERO customer service skills. How he is in the position he is in, is BEYOND me. I didn't ask for the manager, after being passed around from employee to employee, I was told the supervisor Jason would 'help' me. He was worse then his employees. Callous, cold, rude - didn't care at all that I had been there for over an hour due to their error and even though the system said the package was in their facility, he decided it wasn't without even looking. He took zero accountability for not being able to locate my package and looked at me like I was bothering him. I was kind, respectful and nice the entire time. I'm a firm believer in "you get more bees with honey" - so even though I was upset at the situation and HIS ATTITUDE towards me, I stayed super friendly the whole time, hoping it would help the situation and being intelligent enough to know that giving him attitude back would not help me at all. Essentially, he threw his hands up without even trying and without any remorse for my "lost" package. And jotted down a 1-800 number so I could contact customer service. LOL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Even though that package was for sure in his facility the whole time, he was just too lazy to put any effort into finding it. Went back the next day and dealt with someone else who was JUST as rude (don't remember their name) but at least they found it. Its sad, so many hand working Americans would love the opportunity to have a position at OUR United States Post Office, with great benefits and pay - and here we have Jason, just over here bullying people. Normally this post office is mediocre. Today it was horrible! I asked to see where my priority mail package was that was already 4 days late. Someone came out claiming to be a supervisor and refused to give me his name. He had a piece a paper that showed my tracking number, and that it never left the state from which it was mailed. I asked if I could copy the information or at least look at it again, and he REFUSED! Said it was against the rules to tell me where my package was--folded the paper and hid it from me! This is B.S. I tried to find out his name and none of the 4 other employees would give it to me. I'm going to do a major on-line complaint. read more

I've been coming here for years because I HAVE to. I usually don't complain & always have a positive attitude. This post office RUINS MY DAYS RELIGIOUSLY. Certified mail is always "lost," packages are never on time. The lines are always super long. Employees, manager included, are unhelpful, unhappy, rude, careless & plain-old slow as f*çk. I can't beleive that mail carriers can randomly decide who gets their amil and who doesn't. This location has always been awful, but they don't care. When we moved to a new location, the told us we have a wrong address and refused to give us our mail. When we asked the mail guy about it he claimed we threatened him. The following is absolutely amazing, and with the way business is conducted here this should be taken private, no wonder they are bleeding our money. Example, I took an envelope that I wanted to send to zip code 33444. I took it to the Delray main Post office where the mail gets sent to the 33444 zip code. I wanted this sent certified with a return. I went there first thing Tuesday morning and figured my envelope would be delivered either Wednesday or Thursday. Guess what? The envelope got sent up to West Palm beach and was being returned to the Delray Beach Post Office Thursday evening for delivery Friday. This is crazy, whoever is in charge should be fired. And naturally there is no way to talk to anyone over the phone. You get directed to an 800 number and what a waste that is. From now on it's UPS or FedEx no matter what the cost. read more

I have had both good and bad experiences at the post office on Military Trail. There have been many times I have gone in and they are doing their best to move people along. Unfortunately, you can't just go in and buy stamps like you used to do and have to wait in line. On the other hand, I have found that getting an issue resolved is highly dependant on who is the acting supervisor. I recently had two packages disappear. One was from Amazon and the tracking notice said it was on the truck for delivery. When I finally went to the PO with the tracking number to find out why it wasn't delivered, I was told that I waited too long and that I was going to have to go online. Then I had to go 2 days later for another lost package that was reportedly being held per my request. Luckily there was a different supervisor. He looked up both the packages, went in back and came out a few minutes later with the missing packages and some mail that also had not been delivered. He determined that the HOLD I had on my my mail for 2 weeks last month was the problem. Long story short - he not only solved the mystery, he did in short time!. What hiring process do you go through for your mail carriers? Do you randomly go up to people and say "hey you want to deliver mail? There's no background check, orientation, or training! Here are your keys good luck". They barely deliver my mail and when they do it's missing items. My package was marked delivered on 8/7/19 @6:21 pm when the mail came about an hr before that. How is that even possible? Did they realize when they got back to the post office that "oops I forgot this, to avoid getting in trouble let me mark it as delivered and let it fall into the black hole at usps to save my own ass"... or are they stealing mail now? And incase you were wondering, this isn't the first time this has happened. read more

They don't even rate one star. I waited in line for a refund on two Priority Mail Express shipments, neither if which were delivered on time. I was told I needed to speak to a supervisor. After 30 minutes of waiting and multiple requests from me, no supervisor appeared. I was told they were all in a meeting. Seriously? I never ran my private business in such a fashion. Staff were rude and disinterested from the beginning. It was a third world experience. Don't waste your time. I will be using UPS from now on. Do I have to give any stars....I have repeatedly called by phone this office and the West Delray office. Noone answers. I should not have to go there to get my mail and have my previous renters mail taken off my mailbox and my mail to begin arriving. Yes they have forwarded their mail, that does not mean my mail should go off into lala land. I have a new renter moving in on Saturday and she would like to receive her mail there. Do not keep closing off my mailbox from receiving or putting up a note at my door to stop ripping down the tape in my mailbox. I want mail delivered to that address. I would also like someone to answer a phone, either here or at west delray or the 800 number which I also repeatedly tried. I was in a good mood more than 45 minutes ago, but now I'm not. This post office is so run down. It's embarrassing. No signage anywhere to direct you into the post office. As I am pulling in the trees are overgrown to the point even the rundown post office sign is unreadable.It looks from the outside rundown and closed up. Unacceptable for the US post office. The carrier just delivered a package which required signature confirmation and was insured. The carrier left the package without getting a signature and in the front porch. What's the point of paying for services if the lazy carrier is going to ignore them. Useless USPS! read more

I'm not sure what all these bad reviews are about. I come here probably 5-6 times a month and have never had anything but great experiences. Everyone is super friendly and if you go in the morning there are zero lines. In and out. I choose this post office over the 2 that are closer to me because I'm in and out and everyone is super nice. read more

I have noticed several people having the same issue I am, so I wanted to share my experience. We are new to the area and over the past 2 months, 3 of my packages have disappeared in the exact same way. They are fully tracked from where they departed through several other offices on their journey to my house, they are out for delivery, then for whatever reason are brought back to the post office at 33484 and say they are ready for pick up. I go into the post office and they have mysteriously vanished. Tracking says they are there, postal workers say they can't find them. On this last package I asked to speak with a manager and was told to come back in an hour. When I came back, the manager Ryan refused to come out from the back but relayed the message that he personally spoke with the driver and it was going back out for delivery. Low and behold, the package never arrived. I went back again another day, asked to speak to the manager regarding something else to see if he'd come out, and out he comes. I am 100% positive Ryan is stealing packages. He is working with someone from the warehouse. When Ryan went back "to check", the warehouse employee came out to look to see who the owner of the package they stole was. He had no other reason to come out and just stand there staring at me. There's no snow, sleet, or ice in my Delray Beach neighborhood, but mail is not delivered on a regular basis. Our previous mailman took a voluntary transfer, and now it seems that there's no other person in this post office can deliver our mail on a regular basis. How about this one......the mailperson came one day only to take outgoing mail out of the mailboxes. For the past two months we don't get mail everyday.....it's hit or miss. I've been calling their customer service about a lost mail for 2 weeks and all they said was that they are going to return my call but didn't. Spoke to Sharon, the case manager from Consumer Affairs and Alisha who works from this branch but instead of being helpful, they gave me an attitude, raised their voice at me and trying to cut me off while I expressed my frustrations. Hello, is this what you call customer service?! You are the ones who screwed up by loosing a very important mail and you bitching about it?! People complain that the postal employs are not warm and cuddly...I don't give a hoot about their attitude. I'm not there to break into a chorus of kumbaya...my problem is with the system. Try to do some research on your computer about mailing stuff out of the country and the internet is useless. I want to mail a package to American Samoa and there is nothing on the net about packaging or flat rate boxes or how to ship to that or other locations.
