Omg! Talk about a hidden post office.... Between the construction on west Atlantic and all the dust, we thought we'd gone too far west. Then we saw a small sign -- almost covered with green foliage of the trees -- saying post office. I'd say unless you lived in the area, you'd never know it was here. There was a pow-Mia flag under the U.S. flag out front. And less than a half dozen cars in the parking lot. Inside, it was open Monday - Friday 8:30 am until 5 pm. As there were hardly any folks on line and there were two pleasant and very helpful folks working, it didn't take long at all to have what we needed done. read more

I drive out of my way to go to this post office when I need special services because there is never a line. It is behind the new Wawa on 441 and Atlantic and you will miss it if you sneeze. It is an older post office and they do not have the automated machines. Last time I went in there was only 1 person at the front and so the line built quickly. I found out someone called in sick that was supposed to be up there with her. I went in here a little over a year ago and the man behind the counter was rude and mean to this little older lady who needed help. Instead of helping her he became agitated. I did not see him this week when I went in so perhaps he is no longer there or he might be who called out sick. They have a VERY LIMITED selection of stamps in house. My catalogs to mail were $1.90 and I had about 30 catalogs with me at the time. She only had $1.15 stamp and wanted me to put one of them then 2 "lifetime" stamps which are now 55 cents. Thats $2.25 per catalog - 35 cents over the cost. She then did say she could meter them for me for the actual cost. Yes please. I will order stamps online for the rest but due to special size envelope etc I have to go and have it weighed each year before mailing. read more

Not only the worst delivery service in Valencia Palms, but the worst letter carrier EVER. Today, as I approached him to give him a letter that needed to be mailed, he put his hand out and yelled at me to stay away. I asked why. He said they were not allowed to let anyone get near them or their vehicle. I thought maybe he had COVID? No, he was simply a rude and nasty jerk. I admit, I was confused because this wasn't making much sense. He finally took my letter and as I walked back toward my car, he started screaming at me, accusing me of saying he was crazy. What? He had my letter, that was the accomplishment and I was done with him, yet he couldn't help being an absolute ugly fool. Listen, I come from post office people. From sorters to letter carriers, truck drivers to Post Master. Aunts, uncles, friends, mother and my father was a Post Master in CT. Never EVER have I known ANY of them to treat a customer with such ugly infantile behavior. And, as someone else mentioned, mail delivery is sporadic at Valencia Palms. One can go days without seeing a piece of mail. This guy should be let go. He's not doing his job and when he finally decides to deliver mail he performs like a mean circus clown. read more

If it absolutely positively has to be there overnight DO NOT use the USPS especially this office. The level of competency is somewhere around zero! I mailed an overnight envelope from NY it was supposed to get to an address in Delray Beach FL. It made it to the Delray Beach Post Office and then guess what?!?! They delivered it somewhere in Deerfield. Then lied and said they didn't when I have the proof on their own website. I should have listened to my wife and sent it FedEx, I'll never use the USPS for anything where I have another choice. Just go into any Post Office look at the employees, the banjo player from the movie Deliverance has a higher I.Q. As an aside did you know the USPS is the ONLY Federal job you don't need a H.S. diploma for.... REALLY!!! One would believe proficiency in reading may be an important skill. read more

So someone who delivered my mail basically scanned my package and said it was delivered and then rescanned it and said it had the wrong address! Well guess what I can't get through to them so someone stole my package!!!!! I called the 1800 number because no one answers the phone there! Im so annoyed! Makes me wonder if I order anything will I get my stuff in the future or do I have to worry about someone stealing my mail from the post office!!!! read more

The absolute worst service possible. Not only have they mis-handled two packages for delivery to me within one month's time. I was told that a supervisor would call me and that the Caller ID would say "U.S. Government". They did call but the Caller I.D. said "Unavailable". As such the call was not answered. When I tried to call back, multiple times, they do not pick up their phone. I tried calling the main number for the USPS (1-800-ASK-USPS® (1-800-275-8777) but when I got through, I was told that the wait time is over one hour. AYFKM. read more

I had a very bad experience. Honestly, I can see how the job can be stressful but I watched a couple employees be rude to not only me but 2 other people in line. They were jus impatient, snappy and unwilling to help. I was speaking with the middle aged bald Haitian guy that works in the front and as soon as I try to tell him what my tracking notifications say starts cutting me off becoming very condescending, impatient and rude. None of the information he was telling me matched what the notifications I received on my phone said. So now, I most likely have to pay another shipping price to have it sent right back to the same address they've been delivering to for years......Even if they couldnt find the suite, the carrier could have still left it in the mailbox which is big enough for the sized package I have coming. I tried calling their main line 10 times and no answer not the 800 number their direct 561-637-7750 number. No point of even calling the 800 # since the wait time is always 40 mins- an hour. I'll be having my packages delivered through Amazon, Fed Ex or UPS next time. read more
