I am beyond amazed by the level of care and professionalism from this entire team. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional--especially as this was my first time seeing an ENT specialist. A huge thank you to Charlotte, my PA at the Marina del Rey office. She took the time to thoroughly explain my CT scan, listened attentively to my concerns, and provided clear, thoughtful solutions for the sinus pressure and multiple sinus infections I've dealt with over the past year. Her knowledge and compassion immediately put me at ease. She recommended a septoplasty along with additional procedures, all completed in a single procedure that took less than an hour. Also a big thanks to Trisha who walked me through the process and provided me my insurance coverage information. I had my procedure done at the Long Beach location and was just as impressed. Lauryn and Megan were incredibly kind, calming, and welcoming--they truly made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. Dr. Sigari did an outstanding job; the procedure was far less painful than I expected with local anesthesia, and everything was handled with precision and care. Overall, my experience at both the Marina Del Rey and Long Beach offices was beyond incredible. The entire team created an environment that was professional, reassuring, and genuinely compassionate. I saw PA Allison for an ear ache. She masterfully and painlessly removed a lot of dried blood and luckily found no damage to my ear drum. I apparently had scratched my inner ear canal, and this caused bleeding. And the staff is wonderful, even presenting me with a birthday card signed by everyone! read more

Came in for an ear issue. PA was not experienced enough to deal with my issue and had to refer me to a separate ENT. She also did an unrelated nasal scope (billed $800 to insurance and $200 to me) to try to get me sold on another procedure. Whole visit was an advertisement for an unrelated surgery. I will never come back here. (And also the parking is abysmal.) PA was super nice, and the place was clean... but I don't care if the snake oil tastes good. read more

My 1st review got deleted somehow Before getting services at this place Ask the staff a itemized bill and cost of services I checked in for earwax blockage and I was recommended a CT scan which I took (CT scan is optional and not mandatory), I had my earwax suctioned for the most part on my 1st visit, 2nd visit, my remaining earwax was gone because of the earwax drops I used since my 1st visit. The cost of services was almost $2600 before factoring in my insurance. CT scan is very expensive (Do not get this if you just want to check the inside of your ear) Do not get the surgery or procedure that someone will propose to you during your visit. If you do need it, do it at another clinic, dont do it here. read more

Cons: Don't go here if you're a vocalist Pros: convenient communication and scheduling The provider I saw kind of rushed through my appointment and dismissed my concerns about vocal nodules--even though I emphasized that I am a singer. They hardly numbed me and the nose scope was uncomfortable. I have had small vocal nodules in the past and I hen I pointed them out in the video, she said "that's not nodes, that's mucus". I have since seen a new provider and they agreed I do still have the same small vocal nodules, which is why mucus was gathering there. There was no further support or advice offered about how to take care of my throat and voice. I had 2-3 procedures planned with them but I realize I wasn't even aware I was agreeing to several different procedures, not just the septoplasty. They did send me home with info packets though so that was helpful. On the positive, they did thorough imaging and explained what kind of issues I was having with my sinuses. The reminders for my upcoming appointments and procedures were via text and very helpful. I was able to reschedule (but ultimately cancel) over text which was super convenient. I am so thankful for the amazing service provided to me at Del Rey MD. I came in due to issues I was having with a clogged ear problem, a problem that standard irrigation performed at an urgent care failed to address. Kim scheduled me an appointment for that same day - she was very kind and made the process as smooth and welcoming as possible. Charlotte was the wonderful PA who helped me fix my problem. I was clearly anxious about my issue but she calmly explained to me how suction worked and why it was going to give me the relief I was asking for, which it did! I was ecstatic and relieved. Charlotte even explained to me how Del Rey MD could help me with my nasal issues and took the time to answer every single of my questions. To add on to my last review. I went to a second ENT who found two stents left in my nose 3.5 months after my procedure. Del Rey told me there was no way anything was left in my nose. The second ENT also told me that based on looking at my CT scan that was taken before my procedure that only one of seven things done was needed. I am now dealing with endless side effects as a result of the procedures Dr Sigari performed and the steroid stents negligently left in sinuses months after. Just back from seeing Dr Charlotte Jones at Delray MD in the Marina. 90292 From the very start when I first called up their office I spoke to the front office agent Kim she was ever so sweet and helpful and made the process of me getting in at short notice very easy. I filled out the documents ahead of time so when I got to the office. I didn't have to fill out the documents. I met Kim at the reception. She was so sweet, nice and caring and considerate. It was a great start to a visit at a new doctors which I'm always anxious and nervous about, but in stepped Charlotte Jones, who was so considerate of my small problem I had in her office and accommodated that and was very helpful with the way she explained and showed me things that were going on with my ears and my sinuses, she made me feel very comfortable and reassured me. I had a little issue with a test I was supposed to do, but I will be going back for that sometime soon, but in the meantime, it was an amazing experience at the ENT office and I will be returning again soon. In fairness to the review im about to leave, Id like to say the front desk staff, and the original PA I saw, Alison Ochoa were nice people. That said, I needed treatment for an issue in my right ear that lasted for weeks, with several $85 dollar copays due to an initial wrong diagnosis and subsequent treatment. It is also important to know anyone who would want a second opinion from a Doctor on staff, needs to know as the front desk told me, there are NO Doctors on staff regularly at this location ( its a chain) But from time to time, they will visit. So the PA's are in charge which is fine...to a point. I have in my past worked with other PA's at my other doctors offices and all was good. But when you need the expertise of a Doctor, this place is not for you, if you live in Marina or near by. You can go to Long Beach though.... I was super grateful they took me right away at first, it was local, and my old ENT had retired. I was surprised that when they suctioned out my ear, they never decided to send a sample to get tested and determine what it was exactly ( bacterial or fungal) Even Alison was unsure and sought the opinion of her college, the very unlikeable Charlotte Jones PA who has zero bedside manner and took everything I said or did, or wanted to do as personal attack on her....ironic given this was about me, the patient. Needless today, my initial prescription was for a bacterial infection and it made my ( what was later diagnosed as fungal infection) worse.. I had to go back as my ear would clog up every few days and cause so my pressure and loss of hearing...paying my high co pay every time. With Alison canceling on another round of ear suctioning due to being sick and out of office, which is understandable, I decided to stop the medication which was making me worse and got better for a little bit. Then it came back and the urgent care doctor prescribed anti biotic, also wrong, but he's not a specialist. So while I waited for a new specialist, the AMAZING Dr. Danereshad in Santa Monica, I decided to go back to my local Del Rey Ear and see whomever was available before the weekend to get my ear at least cleaned. Well, Charlotte Jones, PA was argumentative, petty , emotional and reprimanding. She was mad I wanted to see a Doctor. She kept saying that she was insulted that I claimed her colleagues diagnosis was wrong and was upset I had insisted that to be so. she kept arguing with me and talking to me like I was 2 years old and in a very snippy tone...then denying she was mad. I did a scan/imaging for her and when she returned she AGAIN had to dig at me that she was so wonderful and correct and her was her collegue. Blah blah...It was like dealing with an emotional teenager rather than a physicians assistant with a degree! Needless to say, I won't be going back there. And as nice as Alison Ochoa and the front desk was its a shame they have such a high strung defensive unprofessional associate. As for my current diagnosis, from a Doctor in Santa Monica with 40 years understanding his belt: Fungal. Which is why the first script I was given by the nice gal made it worse and the second script which The mean lady gave me was correct but not great given the severity. He told me I could have used athletes foot cream instead of pain the 75 dollars for the meds my PPO wouldn't cover. All is good now with a compounding pharmacy making me a medication and the amazing professional DR. DANESHAD! read more

This place is a scam. I made an appointment to see Dr. Farhad to deal with ringing in my ear that I've been experiencing for a few weeks. When I got there I was instead seen by a first assistant who told me that I needed to take a scan so they could see what was going on in my ear. After taking the scan an assistant named Alison Ochoa came into my room leading with how bad my scan was. She addressed my ear for 60 seconds and immediately went into a 20 minutes sales pitch trying to convince me to get nasal work done although I didn't have any nasal complains. She tried to spice it up by telling me it would come with a nice Percocet / Vicodin "cocktail". She admitted that it likely would not cure the ringing in my ear. I never saw an actual doctor. I left feeling uneasy so I called back to ask what the intent of the scan was. To address my ear or my nose and the front desk person Whitney was as rude as could be and only responded with her textbook answer. I would avoid this place and go to a facility where you can see an actual doctor instead of dealing with sales professions trying to run up insurance bills. read more

After a stint in the ER due dizziness and balance issues (among other symptoms), my MIL was discharged with a clean bill of health but the ER doc referred her to see ENT because there might be some residual vestibular issues related to acute illness. I tried helping her find an ENT in the Torrance area, who accepts UnitedHealthCare Medicare Advantage PPO. I called at least 8-10 ENT offices and none of them had an appointment until late October. As this was an acute issue and my MIL's vestibular issues were affecting her ADLs, I expanded my search to farther offices. I came upon DelRey MD, which is located in Long Beach near Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. It wasn't too far from my MIL, so I gave it a shot and called them on 9/11/24. I spoke with Jo and she was swift to answer the phone, friendly, verified that my MIL's heatlh insurance was acceptable, and scheduled an appointment for Monday, 9/16/24 at 10:15am. I was elated to hear they were able to schedule her in a timely manner. I spoke with Joe over the phone, and gave her all the insurance information. She sent a web link for my MIL to fill out new patient paperwork. MIL filled out the paperwork and we were good to go. On 9/16/24, we arrived 15 minutes early. The parking lot was a bit tight, but we found a parking spot without issue. From the outside, the doctor's office is unassuming. Inside, it was very modern and clean. It is actually a shared doctor's office, with 2 separate offices at reception, split down the middle. April, the surgery coordinator, greeted us and took my MIL's CDL and insurance card, then we were immediately called back. Before we had a chance to sit in the exam room, my MIL was having a CT scan of her ears, nose, and throat. I was super impressed by that! I imagined today's visit would have been just a consult and to discuss ongoing issues, then a plan to have multiple tests done which would take weeks. However, the CT scan was done and she was back in the exam room within 5 minutes. Nadeen (I believe she is the tech) took down history of present illness. She was very efficient, which I appreciated. Shortly after, the nurse practitioner Lauren came in and looked over my MIL's health history. She then proceeded to go over the CT results (from not 10 minutes before!), and explained that she may an idea of what is causing the dizziness/balance issues. Lauren NP also went over each "slice" of the scan, explaining each prominence and what the black, white, and grey matter represented. I really appreciated the way she explained each slide, because to me the scans look like an abstract painting. Lauren answered questions we had, and made us feel heard on concerns we shared. She answered my questions regarding the scans and my MIL's symptoms, in great detail in a way that the average person would understand without using medical terminology. I was very impressed by her. She was also quick and efficient, and explained the plan of care including a follow up appointment next week to see if there is improvement. I appreciated her attention to detail and the willingness to ensure my MIL's concerns were being addressed with a plan for follow up care already on the docket. Overall, I am very happy we chose DelRey MD for my MIL. She was extremely happy with the care provided at this clinic. Before heading out, they had a basket full of dog toys which they told us to grab if we had any dogs. My MIL was ecstatic and said she had 5 dogs. The ladies all responded, "Take them all! We are getting a new batch delivered today!" Of course, my MIL happily obliged and raided the basket. What a cute, unique, endearing giveaway! Next to the basket of dog toys, they actually had a bin of healthy snacks to grab and go if you'd like. The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel like a valued patient. From the moment I spoke with Jo on the phone to schedule the appointment, to check in with April, to pre-exam with Nadeen, to exam with Lauren NP, to check out with the receptionist (she was super friendly but I forgot her name and I apologize!) up front... My granddaughter just received truly life-changing sinus surgery at Del Rey MD. Dr. Sigari was gentle, caring, kind and attentive. He patiently explained and answered any and all questions before, during and after the surgery. A testament to Dr. Sigari's talent was evident as my granddaughter had no bruising or swelling notwithstanding she had 3 procedures-- a balloon sinuplasty, a turbinate reduction and pollyp removal. While away on business, I came down with a recurring ear ache that even-though treated continued to recur. It then moved into my sinuses and throat and lungs. Tested Covid-19 negative. Went to DelRey's website that forced appointments through ZocDoc. Because of the severity I booked the next appointment, even through the home office was two hours from my home. Upon receiving a confirmation reading, "Confirmed: Your Zocdoc Appointment on Tuesday, May 3 at 11:30AM" I booked a flight home from Paris, France, booked a non-refundable hotel stay which all cost me around $4000. While on the flight to LAX from Paris I received an email that said the doctor wasn't seeing anyone except sinus patients. However, they offered their PA Phil. I accepted due to the severity and the expenses that were already incurred. Only then did they inform me that Phil's next available appointment is 9 days away! I had a confirmed appointment cancelled after expending $4000 in non-refundable money. Their response when I explained this to them was simply, "Your appointment has been cancelled." Complete bait and switch. Extraordinarily disappointing. Find a doctor and practice that actually honor their words and who you can place trust in. read more

The staff at Del Rey ENT are very welcoming and do the best they can under the circumstances. I found Dr. Sigari very difficult to reach in advance of scheduling the balloon synoplasty. In fact, he never did see me before the procedure. I had to settle for a phone conversation while he was in his car. In my 80+ years, I have NEVER undergone a medical procedure that was not followed by a post-procedure visit with the doctor or at least a phone call inquiring as to any issues I may be having as a result of the procedure. Evidently, follow-up is not cost effective so he does not bother himself with that pesky annoyance. As it turns out, the procedure did not do what it was advertised to do. You would be wise to steer clear of this doctor if you want one that cares about his/her patients. read more

I have not breathed properly since I was 17. Almost 40 years I have been snoring have had major allergies and post nasal drip, not to mention sleep apnea. Yesterday I visited Doctor S for the first time he took a CT of my nose and said that I have no sinus infections but I have a major septum issues from a broken nose I had almost forty years ago. During these 40 years no doctor was willing to touch my nose. Doctor S said I can fix your issue easily. I took a chance and I said let's do it now. And we did. I was then taken to another room and saw another person and was sent away with steroids and no real answers . I was referred to DelRey MD by my PCP for an issue with my right ear. I was attended and treated by both PA Lavi and Dr. Sigari. I found both of them to be extremely knowledgeable, kind, professional and empathetic. They ran every diagnostic test they could in the office, but needed more and ordered an MRI. The MRI led to an accurate diagnosis and a referral to specialist. I believe the care I received at DelRey MD was outstanding and recommend them without reservation. read more

I went in for my first appointment yesterday. It seems like a nice enough very tiny office. However, the front desk asked for my ID to scan for my file. I don't allow my DL to be scanned for any files. I have had several people steal my ID from medical files and other files and it's usually an inside job (yes, they were reputable offices too). The World Privacy Foundation ( a report where most doctors got the idea to start doing this) doesn't recommend it. It's too risky for patients data. I'm not using insurance so why do you need my ID scanned to a file that has ALL my identification there? A bank doesn't scan your ID to a file?!? I asked the other lady receptionist if I could provide another photo ID. She said yes, but the guys communication both verbal and nonverbal were disrespectful. It's a bit too much. It wasn't so much the asking, it was the receptionists attitude when he said "it's our policy" like give it or go away. Humm, it took a minute for me to look in my purse for an alternative ID that I found but as I sat I decided to go somewhere else. I don't spend my hard earned money where it's not respected. I can't speak on the doctor. But from the reviews he seems okay. I just think the office needs to evaluate their policy of recording and storing peoples data when it's not necessary and just an office practice. read more

I've gone to over 7 ENTs in my life and this is the only place that solved my issues. I had countless CAT scans and nobody else could tell I had a double opening into my sinus cavities causing sinus infections. Basically the nose can't efficiently push out mucous in this case because it gets confused. I had balloon surgery, the double hole joined, and the new cryno surgery that is supposed to help with allergies. I'll see how the second procedure goes. My quality of life has vastly improve. Nico was absolutely amazing. First and foremost when I first came in, they were all super nice, offered snacks and made everything very smooth. They accepted my insurance, and when my insurance had problems they worked with me and even jumped on a call with my insurance to ensure that I was taken care of. In regards to the actual visit, they went over my results and explained my options for my deviated septum. The doctor seems nice enough when you visit him, but they have horrible customer service. I was going to get a procedure there and I tried to speak to the doctor because I had some questions before it and they said he does not talk to patients on the phone, but I could speak to his medical assistant. I called his assistant and it's been days and still no response, and I'm supposed to have the procedure in a couple days. Whenever you call the office the chances of somebody actually picking up are slim to none. Another thing that turns me off about this doctor is they figure out what the patient's responsibility is going to be before hand, (which is fine) but they will not do anything until you pay it in full BEFORE the procedure. So the $1400 for the 10 minute procedure he is getting from my insurance is not enough, he needs to make sure he squeezes the 20% coinsurance from me immediately. This is the first time I've ever had a doctor do this. Every other time they just sent a bill and I paid off in full or I make payments on it. This guy just seems a little bit greedy. That combined with the horrendous customer service I'd rather go to a doctor that is highly rated in the area and is a more decent person. To his reply below. That's 100% a lie. the office in long beach was very good with explaining problem and procedure but-----------------------the medical center in the marina performed my procedure while i was a wake and they new it was a bad problem as per the scan. because i have 2 friends that had a sinus procedure and they had suffered no pain because they were asleep if i had known the meds that they had me to take would not do any thing for the awful pain i would suffer it would not have happened. so be sure how you would be taken care of at the this med center i bet if one of them were in for the procedure they would have been given better treatment than i received. so be ware of ths awful place. pas.* read more

This was absolutely the worst place for any ENT related issues. Had my surgery done with them in 2019 and my nasal issues are worse than ever; I cannot breathe at night through my nostrils and my airways are almost completely collapsed, which I have recently come to find out after doing another CT Scan with a separate doctor. I visited Del Rey MD 3 separate times post op and the doctor refused to see me for a proper diagnosis. Dr. Sigari had no interest in properly diagnosing, and treating, or even seeing me, Post-op. Instead, he sent his inexperienced assistants to try to diagnose a professional and serious medical issue. I had septoplasty and turbinate reduction.... Spent 7k out of pocket... with insurance.. and this was the treatment I received. I've been waiting to post this review for quite sometime and I hope someone takes this seriously. read more

I came to Dr Sigari with messed up nose. I have done two surgeries to correct the structure problem I have and they were not successful. They cut me out last time to a point that there is nothing else to cut inside my sinuses. Dr Sigari noticed that and gave me a solution the helped me a lot with my post nasal drip. This is my first review and I'm saddened to have to write it. Dr. Sigari as he seems very caring--but quite honestly burn-out and/or exhausted. I came in as a high-risk patient who has a compromised immune system due immunosuppression/organ transplant. I was referred to him after having a gnarly cold/flu that lasted over a month...pretty much incapacitating me. He saw me quickly, did some assessments, and then prescribed me medicine for 4 days. From an office CT scan, he "found" a fungal mass in my sinus and suggested that I get it removed in his office pending insurance approval asap. Five days pass and I heard nothing from his office if the procedure was cleared. I called the office to see if the procedure was cleared by insurance and I was told "we submitted the request." I then called insurance and they said they didn't have a record of the submission. I then called back to the office and told them this info., and requested that they follow up. Still no word. My medicine ran out over the weekend and I was miserable (medicine was supposed to hold me over until procedure). I called his office 4 times over two days and despite being in both days he failed to respond to my calls and the emails the front office said they had sent him about my case. I just wanted to know what to do next! It is unprofessional for a doctor to fail to call a patient after 2 days when they have finished their course of meds and are still experiencing sinus pain, inability to sleep, ear pain, scorching throat pain, and green cough. For some reason, doctors today forget that we are paying them for a service and that they are NOT doing you a favor (by calling you back). Luckily the ENT department at Cedars Sinai in MDR had an opening today and took care of me (and said they are available to return my calls should I need anything regarding my symptoms, meds, etc). I now have to pay for this new appointment, the assessments and tests again, and the second round of meds. For someone who is unemployed that is a lot! I'm truly bummed out and don't recommend this office unless you have time, money, and good health to spare. read more

Wow they sure know how to target market and sell. Great lesson learned. They advertised that they can help cure allergies by creating oral immune therapy. I was excited to learn that was an option and made an appointment. The following week I drove 2 hours to my appointment and when I arrived they said my appointment was moved and they emailed me regarding that. When we looked into their email was actually never sent it bounced on their end because they misspelled. I eventually got in and met with the Dr. the first thing the Dr asked me is if I have any sinus infections and or headaches. I said no I don't. Then the Dr said we should scan your brain just to make sure. I then said I don't want that expense; he said don't worry you have nothing to lose your insurance will cover the cost. We got the results immediate and I was clear. The Dr ran a skin test and had the lab formulate a formula for my allergies. About 10 days later I received the formulated drops and on day one I had a severe reaction. I immediately called the office and did not get a response. I then called every day for a week and never got a returned call. About a month went by and I received a bill for $1,000.10 for my brain scan. I called the office again for about a week and would not get a callback. I then put a team together of my staff members and I told everyone to call every day until we get a returned call. Eventually, I got through to them. The office manager said she will handle this and get back to me. We never heard back. It's not the money that bothers me, I got really ill and needed a steroid shot and the Dr did not care. I was just another number. This will not go unnoticed. read more

This place sucks. I changed my insurance around and got THE BEST insurance money can buy so I can get surgery from these guys. Because they came with with the highest recommendation from a trusted source. I've called them 4 times asking them to call my insurance to varify coverage and nothing. After 4 months, they haven't called my insurance and there has been absolutely no progress. read more

Dr. Sigari is the best doctor I have ever had in LA since moving here a year and a half ago. He really listened to all I had to say about my vertigo and BPPV issues. He offered to assist me with testing my sinuses and also helped me find the right places to go get other testing done. Instead of dismissing my discomforts and complaints about my dizziness, he assisted me in coming up with a plan of elimination to fully diagnose the internal issue I had that is causing my vertigo. Life changing. I don't say this lightly. I had been sick and having trouble breathing for almost 2 years visited several doctors and specialist taken different antibiotics and medications and nothing helped. That all changed within 15 mins of my visit with Dr. Farhad Sigari. From the physical exam he pin pointed my problem then confirmed I had a severe sinus infection with a CT scan. After trying medication again I made the decision to move forward with in office surgery- Sean and the whole team couldn't have been more helpful! Scheduled a hearing test appointment and specifically asked to see Dr. Sigari. A couple days letter received an automated appointment confirmation stating my appointment was scheduled with a physician assistant. After trying to reach the office for 5 days, I cancelled my appointment. They then called me and explained that Dr. Sigari only comes in to the office to meet with patients when it's concerning sinus related issues. Their schedulers need to be upfront about this when patients make appointments. Oh, and answering the phone during regular business hours would be helpful too. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! Appalling customer service and beyond rude. I called to make an enquiry as to whether our insurance would cover one of their treatments, the very rude receptionist flat out told me that she couldn't tell me, she couldn't help me without an appointment. What is the point of an appointment if it's not covered? She didn't want to help me is basically the bottom line. For a company that should be in the business of helping people who are sick, being blatantly refused help by the first point of contact with the business is pretty shocking. In my opinion they need to spend some time teaching their staff about how to help people who call seeking their help. read more

Dr. Farhad Sigari and his team is great! I've had couple procedures at his Long Beach office for my nose and sinuses, and now I able to breath much better and sleep great as well. They are informative, professional, and understanding. I would highly recommend to anyone who is struggling with nose breathing to book a consultation with his office.
