While Dr. Putnam's care was ok, watch out on billing. She charges for every little thing in this office. I went in to have my throat checked, as I saw spots in my mouth and was coughing. She wanted to look in my ears first and cleaned a tiny amount of wax out of one ear - and added $150 to the bill. I could have had the wax removed at my primary care for free. Also the office bedside manner leaves much to be desired. No "my chart" everything is by hand, I could only get a first appointment and the doctor was 30 minutes late. I had surgery 2 weeks ago for the following 4 things: 1)  Balloon Dilation 2). Repair Deviated Septum 3). Septoplasty Turbinate Reduction 4). Concha Bullosa Resection Dr Aynehchi is an amazing surgeon, great follow-up after surgery, explained what to expect and what to do after surgery. He even called at the end of the day to check on how I was feeling after the surgery. Further, both the surgical center and Dr Aynehchi office called the next day to check on me again. I really felt that he cared about how I was feeling and getting me better and I am thrilled with how everything is going so far. I took my prescribed pain pills every 6 hours for the first 4 days, and then switched to Tylenol for another few days. I never felt any pain, the pain pills alleviated that. I also did everything he said to do. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. (no caffeine, still drinking about 70 ounces of water a day two weeks later as hydration helps in the healing). Laxative (or in my case a big glass of prune juice) every day only when on the heavy pain pills. Elevate. Sleep in a recliner or with 4 pillows. Cold mask off and on all day. Rest. When the bleeding subsided after about 4 days, I switched from using ice to using a heat pack on my sinuses 3 times a day followed by an immediate sinus rinse to flush out the loosened mucous from the heat pack. I was so afraid of being in horrible pain, but Dr Aynehchi did an amazing job, coupled with the above, and the whole experience far exceeded my expectations. I can finally breathe out of both nostrils. It's life changing and I am beyond grateful for finding Dr Aynehchi. While my office experience was good, my care from dr putman was not. Do not go here for jaw problems. I was looked at for maybe 7 minutes, was written a muscle relaxer prescription, and paid 400$. I was the one who had to bring up Botox as a remedy for pain. She never even mentioned other solutions besides taking pills. No stretches, medical guidance besides meds, nothing. I called recently to ask about a test she mentioned to see my jaws alignment, yet the note wasn't in my file and I am back to square one. read more

Absolutely no dedication to new patients. The provider was in a rush to leave and I was already in the building when I received a call from the front desk saying the doctor needed to leave. Because of their terrible parking situation i was running 5 minutes late to the appt after arriving 10 minutes early. They asked me if I filled out my paperwork they emailed me, which i needed to print out. How many people have access to printers especially when most modern practices allow you to fill it out electronically. This is Santa Monica! Not Podunk Central CA. If you're looking for a practice thats definitely outdated with providers who would rather leave 5 minutes early then this is the right place for you. It makes no sense that because of your antiquated process of having patients mainly fill out paperwork in office that delays the start of the appointment, you choose to reschedule them even if they are already on site. Update your checkin process to what most offices added 5 years ago. Im glad I didnt go through with the appointment because its a testament to the kind of bedside manor I would probably have received. read more

My Husband had 2 procedures done by Dr Ayenechi, Correction of his deviated septum and cosmetic nose surgery to improve the shape of his nose. 1. He used to be a mouth breather since his nose was blocked most of the time and that has changed since the operation. His deviated septum has improved significantly allowing him to breath through his nose helping him with sleeping and exercising ( a life changer) . 2. The tip of his nose was growing and he had a dent on the ridge of his nose, which made his nose center of attention in close up pictures. His biggest concern after seeing so many nose jobs was how obvious they look and that is not what he wanted. As a Cosmetic Dentist and a very picky one, my husband believes less is more when it comes cosmetic procedures. So the goal is to improve the way things look so people around can notice there was improvements but not for them to recognize exactly what was done. Love this place! I recently had A LOT of earwax buildup that was almost blocking my entire canal and Dr. Wang removed it so quickly, painlessly and gracefully. I had SO much anxiety beforehand but the way she removed it was perfect. After reading all the negative reviews online for this location , I was very reluctant in coming to this office . I tried to reschedule to the Culver City location where the reviews were better but was unsuccessful. The staff at the front does not make you feel welcome , however because of the research I did I was expecting that. It's almost impossible to get a live person when you call . Had to send 2 emails before I got a response back . When you do speak to somebody you feel rushed on the phone . I did not have to wait long to see the doctor. I must say , Dr. Pesce is probably one of the best doctors I have ever met . She was extremely knowledgeable and throughly explained everything to me. She answered all of my questions . She was very patient and did not rush me. She had the best bedside manner. She made me feel very comfortable, which is very rare with most doctors . I highly recommend this doctor for consultation. It's hard to find street parking because most of the streets require a permit . I found metered parking on Wilshire Blvd about 2 blocks away . I recommend arriving 30 minutes early because you will need to drive around for about 20 to find parking or you can pay to park in the building . I'm not sure if they validate and didn't want to ask . My only recommendation for this office is to train your front desk staff in customer service. They should be warm and friendly to everyone who walks in that door and some soft music in the background will be a plus considering most people are probably nervous coming here. She is taking care of my spouse for a deviated septum and snoring. We are in good hands and on our way to alleviating the problem. While on vacation, I had a few cocktails, fell going up the stairs and broke my nose. This was a week ago today. My nose was crooked and owen-wilson-esq. I read you only have a week-ish to get it straightened out, otherwise you have to undergo surgery after a number of months have past, once the bone has healed. Not knowing where to start, I called around and booked a consultation with a guy in Beverly Hills. He took a look at my nose, agreed that it was broken and wanted to schedule a surgery to straighten out my beak. I didn't want a nose job, just wanted to lose the nose knuckle. Not convinced that undergoing rhinoplasty was the only way to handle this, I asked around and someone recommended Westside Head and Neck after they had a devastating softball injury to their face. They got put back together and suggested I go there. Enter Dr. Aynehchi. He took a look at my nose, we discussed his findings and he very calmly said it would be simple to fix and stepped out of the room. Having come from the other Doctor's office, now seeking a 2nd opinion, I assumed he meant we would be scheduling an appointment this week to fix it surgically. Nah. He came in the room with what looked to be a surgical grade butter knife and a few numbing-agent-soaked nose tampons. I then realized we were fixing this thing today, right now. I was relieved because I didn't want to miss work and have to deal with all of the drama of surgery or the recovery (as well as walking around with a nose cast like a real housewives reject husband). Breaking my nose under the influence was going to cost me what I call, "the idiot tax." I knew this was going to suck. He assured me I'd be fine and we got to it. He asked if I wanted to play a song, I chose Megadeth. He put the surgical butter knife up my nose and with some elbow grease and the soothing guitar solo powers of Dave Mustane, popped my nose back into it's original shape. It hurt, but it was momentary and over with. Plus He probably saved me $10k in bills. Plus he let my girlfriend film it with my permission so I got a legit Insta story out of it. I really appreciated Dr. Aynehchi's honesty and approach. Had he said I needed surgery, I would have signed up. I truly cannot speak more highly of this practice and specifically Dr. Aynehchi. I went in to get botox for the first time and he rmade me feel at ease and I can attest to his dedication to not make me look like my face was frozen. I feel like I look VERY natural and can still make expressions yet they are very soft and "real". Additionally, he spent about 20-25 minutes with me talking about a rhinoplasty surgery I received a year ago. Even though I was in for a quick botox appointment, Dr. Aynehchi made sure I felt comfortable and answered ALL of my questions regarding the off subject rhinoplasty. I am contemplating getting a revision rhinoplasty because my nose did not set the way I would have liked it to. Dr. Aynehchi was honest with his opinion and what he would do to fix my nose. He isn't stuck up or frugal with his time. I had a procedure performed by Dr Ayanechi and Dr Wong, and both they, as well as their staff at both offices in Santa Monica and Culver City took the very best care of me for the surgery and follow ups. I could not hear out of my left ear after I went swimming. It persisted for a couple of weeks despite taking over the counter ear drops. I saw Dr. Michelle Putnam, MD, who was recommended to me, and she looked in my ear and said I cannot hear because I have a hardened piece of wax in there. She gracefully removed the wax with some specialized equipment, and like Magic, I could hear again completely normally! It was easy to get an appointment, and the appointment took only like 5 minutes to solve my issue. That was several months ago and I have had no issues since. I had a great experience with Dr. Amanda Salvado at the Santa Monica office! I came in after having a week of decreased hearing, some dizziness, and tinnitus. Dr. Salvado was super friendly and went through my health history and symptoms. I never felt rushed or intimidated. Dr. Putnam is hands down the best! After a few failed attempts at self treatment using Web MD and anecdotal recommendations, and one negative experiences with an urgent care physician that felt more like a cattle call, I thought I was going to have to live with sinus pain and discomfort. One visit with Dr. Putnam and I am convinced that modern medicine is the way to go. She was professional and really smart, without a hint of arrogance. She immediately identified my problem, went over the possible treatment options thoroughly (and in plain English) and was patient with all of my cynical questions. Before I start, I have to mention Dr. Aynehchi is probably one of the most ETHICAL surgeons I have ever met. He will never push you or try to convince you of something you are not comfortable with. Honestly, he puts the patient first, and will even deter you from getting a procedure done if he feels you are unsure about whether to proceed. Unfortunately this is very rare these days as surgeons make most of their money from..doing surgery. It's all in the details. I had an otoplasty (ear) procedure performed and Dr. Aynehchi was fantastic. I was a new patient (not referred by anyone) and even during the initial consultation Dr. Aynehchi was extremely through. He went through the entire process without making me feel rushed and answered all my questions and concerned. During the procedure I was awake and he talked to me the whole time explaining everything that was going on and taking his time. After the procedure he provided extensive post op instructions and the follow ups went great. I am beyond happy with the results and I trust his aesthetic opinion completely. Of course he has all the board certifications and academic accolades but his meticulous attention to details is exactly what I wanted. Dr. Aynehchi is a highly competent surgeon with excellent bedside manners - he's a real gentleman. I am very satisfied with my sinus opening surgery with him (I think it was called endoscopic surgery?). I've been breathing better. I've been sleeping better. I've even been thinking more clearly. And I've recovered well (which means he did a great job in the surgery room). I don't know if this is supposed to happen but my singing voice has improved - a nice side effect.
