When our flight was delayed by more than…read morethree hours due to severe weather, we decided to take advantage of Breeze's full refund policy and book a Delta flight out of Cleveland instead. As the day went on, we realized the weather was impacting multiple airlines, and Delta ended up delaying their flights as well. That made us appreciate even more how Breeze handled the situation. Throughout the day, they kept passengers informed with timely updates and even provided a complimentary food credit--something Delta did not offer, despite being considered a more premium airline. What impressed us most was that, even after allowing passengers to cancel and receive full refunds, Breeze still operated the flight that same night. Many airlines might have canceled altogether, especially if the aircraft was much less full, but Breeze honored its commitment to the passengers who chose to travel. That level of reliability really stood out to us. We understand that the weather was beyond Breeze's control, so we don't fault them for the delay. Instead, we were impressed by how they communicated, treated their customers, and followed through despite challenging circumstances. Because of that experience, we'll absolutely give Breeze another chance in the future. Their customer service, kindness, and reliability left a lasting positive impression on us.

So we spent 5 hours driving in holiday traffic that night to get it. #2 CLE to LAX - I was not charged for my 8-year-old daughter's little carry-on suitcase so I thought it was small enough to be considered a personal item. #3 LAX to CLE - Gate wanted to charge me $100 for my daughter's suitcase. I complained about the lost luggage from CLE to LAX...and how miserable we were the first 2 days of our trip... their response was aggressively grabbing my 2 boarding passes and removed us from the flight. At the gate, the 3 young male punks were laughing when my daughter cried herself to sleep on the chair. #4 LAX to CLE - Spirit sold our 2 seats to someone else and didn't credit us $650 for the one way back home. Spirit said we were NO SHOW from LAX to CLE even though they checked us in and sent our check-in luggage to Cleveland. So we had to go without clothes again! New bag fees of $75 /$125/$200 for your checked bags being over weight by 1 lb and thats just to start . $25 to check in with a person also now at the counter , plus there self check in bag machines take at least 20 minutes per person to check in with and thats if they don't reset on you or your bag doesn't weight right at 40 lbs or under . I Saw several people that happened to and there was only one person helping out on eight machines , and they had to reset them several times to get them to work . You think your gonna save a little money but it ends up being around the same as a real airline in the long run . Think next time ill just use delta or American air lines so i don't have to be treated like just another cash cow to them .
