I got a call from a sales rep named Mario, he was very cool and gave me awesome pricing on a GLB. We went in to test drive the car and met Mario in person. He was cool and easy going. The dealership was clean and packed with different models. This is our first MB, my wife specifically wanted a GLB (smaller SUV). We test drove the car, we were pleasantly impressed. We returned to the dealer and met w Mario again. We reviewed the numbers and agreed to come back in two days after we return our current lease and get insurance etc. we returned two days later, our car was not only cleaned but it was parked in the showroom w a dozen long stem roses inside "compliments of Contemporary Motors". We met w Mario, he finalized his paperwork. Then he brought us in to the finance person where we finalized the remaining paperwork. After the paperwork we were given a tutorial of the car workings. Then Mario introduced us to the owner of the dealership. What a nice guy, he complimented us on the color scheme we chose and chatted w us a bit and then we left. Again I'm so impressed with the personalities and the dealership as a whole.

I immediately returned the car and was told it was fixed, but they only cleared the light. It came back on after the drive cycle. This happened again after they sent it to another shop. They eventually had my car for over SIX WEEKS, yet the original issue was never fixed. The vehicle has since been to another shop twice, and the same error code continues to appear. Most disappointing of all, Belford Motor Company is refusing to honor the warranty, despite the problem starting just two days after purchase. I gave them multiple opportunities to make this right, but after months of dealing with this, I am extremely disappointed with their lack of accountability and customer service. Think twice and have any vehicle thoroughly inspected before purchasing.

Really nice for that elderly couple to see another customer paying with a card right after they had a bad accident and just wanted us to take care of it for them. Nope Johnny U's wouldn't allow that for literally no reason at all. Their outdated equipment also caused more damage to the customers Audi when towing it, causing it to be a total loss.

Like any other buyer I had questions and was looking for a good deal, which I shared from the start. Maria told me "Im wasting her time" after I said Im shopping around for the best deal. And then after finding out I went with another sales person because of a better deal, Maria told me that "going with another dealer is a slap on her face" and the cherry on top was these exact words from her "knowing this you did waste my time. I had all intentions to re-lease with vw in SI because I enjoy the cars and the dealership is on the island. I also thought " maybe the car i had was just a lemon". So when I started dealing with the Male sales manager for my re-lease of my buy back .I was surprised how he was so disgustingly aggressive, condescending, unprofessional and extremely disrespectful! He demanded I use all the money I receive for the new lease and he was counting every cent. Which I have the convo on recording. He was extremely difficult to deal with and I decided it just was not worth it. he didn't deserve my business. The day I was suppose to get my check and give back my loaner I ended up waking up to a flat tire. So I had to call road side. The gentleman came to switch the tire and he was puzzled how the tire deflated because there was nothing wrong with it. No screws, or holes or bend in the rim. I went to the dealership met with the service manager and he seemed angry and tense. He was upset I wasn't re-leasing with the dealership and also I got a flat. he told me I would have to pay For the tire then in the same sentence he told me I shouldn't worry about anything. I found this so grossly unprofessional and wanted out of this uncomfortable situation as quickly as possible. I left and went car shopping elsewhere. I'm so devastated how I was treated here. This is not a family run business. It's a corporation and emotions are not suppose to be involved in a professional business. I called today 5 months later bc I did end up with another vw and needed service. Thought maybe I would be able to stop by. Not only was I hung up twice. The manager in service picked up when my friend called and when we gave a different name. When I said it was me he told me I was at fault for a large gash in the loaner tire and I owe him 250 dollars. I have documentation stating otherwise that there was nothing wrong with the tire. he also told me he basically has a grudge and I wasn't welcome at his vw dealership in Staten Island ! If you are looking to buy a car I would really think twice on this dealership.
