My husband called the dealership yesterday to inquire about the availability for a specific car. It was confirmed with the salesperson named Mark that the car was indeed available. My husband told Mark we would be traveling over an hour distance to buy that specific car. Mark guaranteed my husband that the car was available and suggested we take the drive down to the dealership this morning. In fact, after his conversation with Mark, he also received a text message from Mark confirming the car's availability in great detail. As we arrived to speak with Mark, we patiently waited while he was working with another couple. While working with that couple, Mark walked over to us to inform us that the couple he was currently working with had just bought the car we were there to buy. Can you imagine how upsetting this was for us? All that Mark said to us was that he was sorry and hurried back to continue working with the couple. Update in response to Brandon's comment. Thanks for getting back to me. I understood your situation perfectly clear, and it was handled in a rude and tactless manner by the sales rep. To recap, this was a domestic mid-sized sedan with an asking price of $30,000. The entire basis of your response seems to be that I came in looking to drive a Lamborghini Huracán, not a car with the same value as a new Honda Accord. To get a little more in-depth; I never asked him if I could test drive the car. I came in and said I made an appointment to look at the car. I specifically wanted to inspect the modifications made (found a 2.55" pulley, Corsa exhaust and Airaid intake.. not a deal-breaker but certainly makes me leery) and maintenance, whether recall repairs (specifically on the snout isolator) had been performed and if there were any hidden blemishes exterior or interior. Lou told me when I met him that I "need a down payment before you even get to look at the car." That was word-for-word, not a paraphrase. I'm not an entrepreneur who "knows" I want a Lamborghini. I'm a working man who was kicking around the idea of buying a CTS-V if I found one I liked. It took some convincing to even get him to get the keys. By the time I did finally get to inspect the car the sales rep showed no interest in talking about the car, finding any answers to my questions (number of previous owners, why no warranty was offered) and quickly took the keys back and sent me on my way. Brandon; you could have simply apologized for the poor treatment and asked if I was still in the market for a vehicle, and perhaps given me some examples of offerings you have that I may be interested in. For example, my girlfriend was interested in the Taurus SHO you recently had as she is currently in the market for a second vehicle. Perhaps offered me contact with a different sales rep who would treat me cordially, as the gentleman I spoke to on the phone did. Instead you attempted to justify this sales rep's poor attitude. As to whether his concerns were justified, please find the attached picture of the keys to my new 2012 Cadillac CTS-V purchased at BMW of Mt. Laurel. Auto Exotica lost this sale solely due to Lou's attitude. I do understand that, were I a business owner, I would not indulge every John Doe on the street with a Ferrari drag race. A CTS-V is a nice Cadillac, but it is no exotic by any stretch of the imagination. Perhaps I didn't make that abundantly clear. I recommend speaking with your employee and ensuring this doesn't happen again in the future. An apology wouldn't hurt either. Good business manners. read more

Apparently, negative reviews are not tolerated -- the owner of this establishment gets shills to complain to Yelp, and the comments are removed. They can't do this on Google Reviews though. Here's my second attempt to relay my experience with this seller. I was interested in one of their vehicles. I was told that there is a $279 Documentation Fee, and a $495 Prep Fee. These are ridiculous amounts -- realistically, these are $95 and $140 respectively. By calling them "fees", they are able to advertise a lower sale price, to lure you in. Went to Auto Exotica in Middletown and got wholly shafted last year. Helped my mom find a used car and we bought a beautiful, 2008 Buick Lucerne. Since it rolled off that lot we have found all manner of stuff that was not disclosed. The odometer had been rolled back, the radiator was filled with gunk which wound up being sealant to stop leaks. Absolutely choking with it. The gas gauge didn't work properly. Now it's in for a new water pump. Older, but wiser am I. I will not be seeking a car from Auto Exotica anytime soon. Fantastic experience! I was shopping for a replacement for my Audi and found an E350 MB listed at Auto Exotica online. My husband and I went to "just look" at it and a couple of hours later, I was home and said to him "did I just buy a car?" The process was so low key, easy-peasy that it was actually pleasant. And let me just say that this place is dangerous! So many beautiful vehicles and all seemed to be fairly priced. We almost went home with 2 cars because my husband fell in love with a Challenger as well. Financing was painless and I decided to buy a warranty - not because it was pressed on me, but because it was also fairly priced and made sense to me since if any repair is required in the next 3 years, it will more than pay for itself. I purchased a car from them a week ago. It was a 2019 barely any miles. A week later the car was acting really terrible. I brought it to a dealership since it was still under warranty. Found out it needs a whole new transmission. I called to tell them what was going on and while they were very nice and sorry, that's all I got from them. Pretty disappointing, considering I spent a lot of money on a car from them which they barely nudged on the price and a week later it's in a shop and who knows when I will get it back. I can see why some question the prep and documentation fees but after all is said and done it's made up for by the incredible deal and exceptional service. My wife was in search of a "new" car and discovered a terrific price for an E350 Mercedes Benz online from AutoExotica. This place must pay people to write their reviews because it's truly just a building full of con artists and crooks. This place should not even still be in business if people knew what truly went on. I bought a Jeep Patriot 2011 in June 2018 for my first car because I was just about to get my liscenes. My mom asked multiple times if this car had any previous problems we should be aware of and anything to be concerned about. It did have a high mileage so we did want any information about previous issues. We were told this car has a new engine, great tires, drives smoothly, and basically any other detail that could intrigue a buyer. They did not let us have a mechanic look At it before we bought it because it apparently already was looked at and ready for perfection. The second my mom drove the car off the lot the windows stopped working and although this doesn't seem too bad the problems only grew after that. Next we had the car looked at and the underneath of my car was completely rotted and rusted and preventing the car from running properly. We also found out the fuel pump (HUGE ISSUE) was not working anymore and would need to be replaced. This is a $600-$800 job which we were not paying when I bought the car a less than a month ago. We sent it right back to the dealership and they allegedly fixed it with most likely tape and bubble gum to hold in this "brand new" fuel pump. After about 5 days of them "fixing" the car it worked fine after, but now only barely a year later.... guess what problem is back ... THE FUEL PUMP. My car literally would not even start and if it did it would not move when I shifted the gears. Now that we brought it to a REAL mechanic who actually knows things about cars tells me that the fuel pump is faulty. But wait ? Didn't I get a brand new one replaced by auto exotica? Nope, guess not! Now I have to spend almost $800 to get this properly fixed. Buying this car was the biggest mistake of my life and I would never recommend this joke of a place. How could a business tell my mother multiple times this car is the perfect and most safe car for your brand new driver. Everyone in this dealership just tells you what you want to here. Most of the cars on the lot should not even be sold because there's so many problems. read more

WORST service ever. First time we went there, we were happy and were told we could come back, pick up the car, and pick up 2 sets of keys. When we returned, not only did they say they didn't have 2 sets of keys, but literally YELLED at us and told us they don't need this deal, it doesn't matter to them if they sell us the car, and to leave. We were called liars and screamed at my the salesman. Then, we get a call saying they had a second key made, and it would be ready to go, when in actually they lost the key and found it and gave it to us. I've never had someone yell at me like that, and I can't believe they're still in business. I want to stress that I was never asked to write this review by anyone at Auto Exotica and this is one of 5 reviews I have taken the time to write. First, I called in and spoke to my sales rep Michael. Knowing what type of car I wanted in advance I specifically asked him about the car they had for sale. My first impression of Michael was that he was not the typical car salesmen that will tell you anything and play with numbers to get you in the door. He was intelligent, knowledgeable, and treated me from the beginning as if he truly respected my business and was not pushy at all. He asked me when it was convenient for me to come in and see the car so I we booked a time and I went in to their beautiful showroom. The car I was looking for happen to be showcased in their showroom, and it was not an easy task to just get it out of the showroom with other cars they were showing. Without hesitation they made it happen. When I walked into the showroom, I was greeted by employees in a very professional manner. My experience at other car dealers new and used is that a pack of hungry wolves will surround you. Quite the opposite at Auto Exotica. I was greeted not just by Michael but by the sales manager the finance manager, and Frank the owner. Every employee that I spoke to seemed generally happy to be working there. They all had great things to say about Frank and his approach to business and only bringing in "best in class" cars. Not one but three employees told me how anal he is about his cars being clean, and that if there is a speck of dust on them it is not good enough for him. I was offered a test drive of the vehicle by myself and told to come back when I was done. After driving the car and loving it I walked back in the showroom expecting the worst. Generally in my experience this is one car dealers increase their fees with hidden "dealership fees", or tell you the advertised price is really just a down payment and there are additional costs associated with buying the car. NONE of that happened. In fact, they reduced the price of the vehicle for me and offered me a very equitable trade-in price on my car. I had shopped out both my trade-in and this vehicle for a while, so I was educated on fair pricing for both. After coming to a deal, I put a refundable security deposit down and told them I wanted to shop up out financing on my own. Again, this is generally a time where a car dealer will increase the price of the vehicle because they are not writing the financing. Again they did not change the price. In fairness to them, their financing rates were good. I ended up just writing a check for the transaction and did not opt for financing. When I met with Matthew, their finance manager he explained to me what a bumper-to-bumper warranty on a used car would get me. He did not try to sell the warranty, only explain to me what the benefits were. At no time did I feel like a warranty was being pushed down my throat. I opted to shop out the warranty on my own and give it a little more thought. When the transaction was done, Michael my sales rep was busy with a customer so Frank took his time and walked me through the vehicle because he owns the same model. I felt that their staff was generally very happy for me on my new purchase. Usually it's the exact opposite, and it shows when someone is just happy they made a sale. Here I felt like they were happy not because of the sale, but because they EARNED a new long-term customer. Also, Frank and Michael both said the two most important words in the English language "Thank You", and meant it. They have a complete "Customer First" approach which I truly appreciate as I handle my business affairs the same way. I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had at Auto Exotica.
