CAUTION - Mechanics destroyed my brand new Porsche. Either that, or their engines last four years Bought here, brand new, in 2021 Last month I took it in to Porsche Monmouth for an oil change. Next day I had engine troubles. Porsche told me to tow it in. Sounded serious. They inspected, called to say "I am going to transfer you to sales to purchase a new one" Then explained either that or I can pay 40k for a new engine (6 figures for a car 4 years ago and it needs a new engine) Left me with no loaner and no car for two weeks. After complaints and letting them know that every mechanic I spoke with told me the mechanics here destroyed your car, and multiple calls to Porsche NA (who informed me they will do nothing to fix the problem) I got a loaner, then "we can take 5k off the price" HAHAHAHAHAH. Weeks later I finally had it and gave a more aggressive call and then they come back with $15k off a $40k engine replacement. They then suggest to try insurance. So my insurance totals my car, says the repair cost is more than the cars value, and now 4 years, tens of thousands in yearly maintenance and 100k later I have no car. Cherry on top - they are charging me a fee for looking at the engine they destroyed and charging me for towing my car in (after telling me the tow would be free) Really? Kick you while you're down after totaling and junking your car. zero accountability. read more

I had all the information I needed without pressure when I was making my decisions. Astonishingly, the most unprofessional and disappointing purchase experience I have ever had. I purchased a CPO 911 from out of state and received contact from a Certified Brand Ambassador, Scott Patterson. Despite making a crystal-clear offer, the sales associate and his Sales Manager, Jason DiLeo, attempted to confuse the offer by not understanding MSRP, then rounding up the number further and "not noticing that had happened," and attempted charge me 110% of processing and dealer fees for a used car purchase. The dealership refused to cover shipping of the vehicle and when I pushed back, they offered a $1,000 credit towards a shipping quote they provided of $2,400 when I independently was able to secure shipping for $1,600. I refused their $200 courtesy. After the purchase was completed, Monmouth Porsche kept my car on their website, changing the price of the vehicle to "Call for Price" and actively solicited a vehicle they had no rights to for four additional days. When this was brought to Mr. Patterson attention as a clear bait and switch technique, he replied, "Sold vehicles do take a few days to no longer appear on our site." to which I replied, "Apparently longer than it takes to update the price." Mr. Patterson was unable or unwilling to actively inform me my car had been picked up nor made any active follow up to see if I recieved it in good order. Upon receipt, I learned that Mr. Patterson had taken no steps to establish a Porsche ID or enroll me in Connect Services requiring me to request the assistance of my local Porsche dealership. I found it shocking that a brand of exceptional quality like Porsche would allow itself to be represented by a dealership and associates of such poor conduct. read more

These people are slime. I have a signed order for a speedster at MSRP. When they received the allocation they told me that if I wanted my car I would have to pay $150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand dollars) over msrp. They stopped returning my calls. Their contract states that you can't sue them, but must go through arbitration. Will keep you posted. Would you want to buy a car from these greedy people? They are trying to pay off their new building by screwing the public. read more

I purchased CPO Panamera in 2016 and at the time of purchase I was told that the car has one owner and clean report. Not once during the transaction I was made aware of the fact that there was reported damage on carfax. I signed tall stack of documents at the time of purchase, but it's not until 3 years later that I found out about previous damage on the car. While the sales team did a great job selling the car to us the customer service after the purchase SUCKS!!!! The Service Dept plays games when you have an issue with your car and all of a sudden they want to charge you just to diagnose the problem and then claim that whatever is wrong with your car is NOT under warranty. It takes a week for PORSCHE corporate to get back to you with any clarification or assistance. I definitely recommend that when you are in the market for a luxury vehicle you look elsewhere and find out the track record of the Service Dept. because how you get treated after the sale is so much more important then just the sale. Horrendous service department. Recently bought a certified preowned 911 porsche. The brakes are screeching at a high pitched sound when applying pressure. I brought it in to Porsche Monmouth for service. They cleaned the brakes and said it was fixed. Regretfully, it is still happening.When I called them back to discuss more they told me "this is normal for the high performing brakes. There is not much we can do" Really? How much money did I just pay for this car? I spoke to a service rep and the service manager. Poor customer service all around. No solution just condescending verbiage. Stay away! Had a really great experience on a used Boxster with Bill. Found it online and contacted him. Negotiations and process were easy. There was an issue with the PCM system and they sent a driver out with a loaner (gorgeous Cayenne) and swapped it in my driveway. Will definitely continue giving them my business. By contrast I worked with a local dealer much closer to me who let me test drive and discuss pricing options and when I made an offer they told me the price was a mistake and they INCREASED it several thousand and offered me $100 off as a consolation. I was vacationing at the Jersey Shore when my Macan started to experience some significant acceleration issues. I live in North Jersey, and did not want to drive the car to my normal dealership/service provider. I called Porsche Monmouth on Friday, July 2nd in the afternoon, before a holiday weekend, and they fit me in on July 5th. The car did have a significant issue, they repaired it in one day, offered me rides, checked to be sure my warranty covered it, washed the car and were overall polite and professional. My husband and I kept saying how easy and flawless the drop off/pick up was. My 06 Cayman was dropped off at Schneider Nelson in late February of this year for what I though was some sort of pulley or tensioner issue. Approximately 3 hours later I was called and advised that my engine had failed & I required a new engine being quoted a replacement price of $22,000. Feeling this diagnosis was not correct, I contacted my dealer in PA & had my car towed to their facility. After receiving my Cayman, my PA dealer diagnosed the issue as an air oil separator costing $550. My dealer in PA replaced the air oil separator, I picked up the car & had no further issues. There can only be two reasons for this type of incorrect diagnosis, incompetent technicians or an attempt to collect for unneeded repairs. I was also charged by Schneider Nelson for diagnosis charges & they have not returned these fees nor did I ever get a call explaining their misdiagnosis. read more
