Hook for towel on bathroom door - was on floor when I checked in. I left it on the counter. Housekeeping left it there
    Amanda F.

Got an email after checkout asking for feedback and so their team could be "celebrated". Here is my response: I will start with saying, yes I might stay again but next time I would raise these concerns while there. With work being busy, I was too tired and didn't want to deal with the possibility of changing rooms. Management should consider: Walking the property and do the left/right and up/down method to address all areas of concern. Rooms should be deep cleaned at least monthly. Mold in bathrooms - showers, sinks, toilets should be taken care of. Someone should go in the room as if they were a guest and see if all things work as expected, Positives: - Hotel is convenient to the airport - the onsite restaurant is convenient - towels were good quality - bed was comfortable - the water and the ice machine were nice to have - bottles of water in the room were also nice to have Negatives / sadly too many - the overall smell of the hotel is stale, some kind of infiltration of air fresher or air purifier would have been nice. Stale isn't doing it justice - the smell is stale, moldy, old. Not typical Marriott experience - button for lobby in one of the elevators is partially broken - elevators are slow Room 900 specific issues 1. The air does not consistently work as set (ex: setting as auto and 70 was extremely hot, the air would rarely kick on. Setting it to 67 cooled it down some, but still never holding a consistent temperature. Fan would blow for 60-75 seconds then go off for 5+ minutes). I normally keep it on 70-72 at home and the 67 which was the lowest it would let me go was ridiculously hot 2. There is mold EVERYWHERE in the bathroom. I am not sure when the room was last deep cleaned - bathroom and bedroom area. 3. Room floor clearly had not been vacuumed between guests, possibly longer. Food in corner by suitcase area. 4. While towels are good quality, only providing one washcloth, one hand towel, and 2 towels is crazy, especially when housekeeping sees towels on floor to soak up water from shower (or heck it may have been the toilet) leaking. 5. The hooks for towels/clothes are broken. The one in the bathroom behind the door was on the floor at check in. I left it on the counter. Housekeeping left it there. The left (1 of 3) hook on wall over suitcase area was also not secure. This is dangerous! Imagine if a kid found these screws 6. The shower curtain needs to be washed or replaced. The red bacteria is gross. 7. The shower head was HORRIBLE! Several issues - even with shower turned on, water is coming out at a heavy speed from tub faucet and also from metal arm of shower head. This means - the hotel is wasting a ton of water and it's hard to feel clean because there is minimal water coming out of the shower head. The shower head is also corroded. 8. It could be the shower head not working well that doesn't wash shampoo/conditioner out well, or it could be the hair products. Either way, argon oil products are typically only good for certain hair textures. A different variety would have been nice. Pictures for proof.... 1. Broken hook bathroom 2. Broken hook bedroom 3. Shower water being pathetic 4. Gross shower curtain 5. Mold in shower 6. Disgusting toilet / mold - clearly doesn't get cleaned with bleach and a brush I am not sure that there is much to be celebrated, now that I think about it, I will not be staying here again

Great stay at this Delta hotel. The location is great and close to lots of food, shopping and things to do. You can tell that the hotel has been recently renovated and when you walk in the interior is gorgeous. They also have a café and a restaurant and a full bar on site. The young black lady at the front desk check in... Serena, I believe her name is, was warm, friendly and amazing. She kindly checked mr in early and explained the property beautifully to me. The room is nice was appointed nicely. It was comfortably sized with a king size bed, sitting area and a desk nook. The only thing that wasn't great about the room was the bathroom. It wasn't in too bad of a shape, but nothing fancy. You could tell they were a little bit older. Excellent value, location, and service. I would recommend and will return again.

1-Star Review - Very Disappointing Experience…read more Lake Pavilion in West Palm Beach is a beautiful venue, but unfortunately, our experience with Christopher T. Burdick, Community Events Specialist, was extremely disappointing and stressful. Christopher was very disorganized and created a great deal of stress for us at the last minute. There was significant confusion and poor communication regarding documents that had already been submitted electronically to Tracy. We were repeatedly asked for paperwork that had already been provided, which made the entire process unnecessarily complicated. The parking situation on the day of the event was especially frustrating. If the venue is going to be so strict about paperwork and procedures, they should also have a clear and organized system for vendor parking. Parking spaces were not numbered, making it extremely difficult for nearly 20 vendors to know where they were supposed to park. The parking permits that were supposed to identify authorized vehicles were not properly provided or explained to us in advance. Instead, they were handed out on the day of the event without clear numbering or instructions, creating unnecessary chaos and stress. Even more disappointing, our contract stated that vendor setup would begin at 1:00 PM, yet the doors were not opened until approximately 2:00 PM. Nearly 20 vendors were left outside in the rain with all of their equipment and supplies for about an hour, unable to enter and begin setting up. This caused significant delays and affected our event schedule. It is very disappointing that such a beautiful venue can have such poor organization and communication. Instead of making the experience easier for their clients, the process felt unnecessarily stressful because of excessive paperwork requirements, lack of communication, and a lack of practical assistance when problems occurred. The venue itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the organization and customer service we experienced were not acceptable. I sincerely hope management reviews these procedures and improves communication, vendor access, parking organization, and staff coordination for future events.

Our group was welcomed with attentive, friendly service from start to finish. The standout dishes for me were the crispy Brussels sprouts and the colossal shrimp cocktail--the shrimp were enormous and so fresh! I also loved my salad. I sampled the pepperoni and spinach pizzas, but since I'm not a big pizza person, they just weren't my favorites. Thankfully, there were plenty of other delicious options. There were burgers and fries to try as well as shrimp potstickers- the potstickers ranked high for me! The atmosphere is what really makes this place special. Sitting outside overlooking the golf course is peaceful and beautiful, and there's plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Running into a friend there was the icing on the cake! They also had I e cream and a large cookie dessert which others liked. A glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc was the perfect way to end a wonderful evening. If you are not a member and found this venue advertised on The Knot, proceed with caution…read more When researching, it should have been a red flag that there are very few recent wedding reviews since 2023, many 5-star ratings without explanations, and one consistent negative comment stating the venue is beautiful but the event coordinator, Pat Saylor, is poor at communication. Unfortunately, that review proved accurate. Pat is the only event coordinator for the clubhouse. She frequently reassures you that she is on top of things, but emails and calls often go unanswered and responses are delayed until multiple follow-ups are made. Communication is inconsistent at best. If you speak with Gwyn, the COO, you may receive answers that differ from what Pat previously told you. When these discrepancies are pointed out, you are redirected back to Pat for clarification. Non-members should also be aware that placing a date "on hold" offers little security. Despite being told we had the right of refusal if another party was interested, our held date was ultimately given to a club member without alternative dates being offered. Overall, non-members do not appear to be a priority. This venue may be beautiful, but the lack of communication and organization can be a significant issue. I hope this review helps other non-members avoid wasting time and instead choose a venue that values their business.
