Needed a water heater same day and I left a few voicemails. It went against my better judgement to use the company contracted by Home Depot, but I was desperate. The guy showed up in the time frame provided and it took a couple hours. Everything seemed fine until I went out to the garage the next morning and smelled gas. We checked the connections with soapy water and it was leaking from where the hose connects to the new tank. So sloppy. I called and told them what happened and they sent the guy back out. He showed up early, right in the middle of a birthday party, so I let him in and asked him to come get me in the yard when he was done. Instead of telling me the work was complete, he waved at one of my guests and said "all done!" and took off. So we have hot water and the garage doesn't currently smell like gas, but not a great experience. Would not recommend. read more

He Did a good job of taking the old water heater out and putting the new water heater in, but he left water all over the garage. And barely cleaned up the water. I had to run around with a towel and a broom to clean up after he left. If I am going to pay all that money for and installation I want them to clean up better before they leave. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the water heater install by Delta Mechanical. When I book the installation I was assured two people would do the install since it's in my house upstairs. Day of install, one person arrives and I ask where is the other person. He makes a call and then says he can do by himself. I offer to help and give him a towel because my floors and stairs are almost new vinyl flooring. He says he can't let me help and he's got it. After install I notice every single bullnose on my stairs has a divet out from the dolly used to carry water heater. I've contracted the company numerous times and have heard nothing back from them!! read more

I have to say delta mechanicals customer service and communications with customers are extremely poor! Customer service and Warranty work should be a very basic service you succeed and excel At yet I've been without hot water for 3 days. The 3 hour appointment window was missed by 30 minutes only to be told I had to go to Home Depot and pay extra to get the installation of a water heater completed. Seriously? There's always strings attached to warranties I guess. I hope the techs earn some of that money Delta Mechanical makes on that process but we all know that's not how corporate works right. Fernando Quiroz was congenial and easy to work with while installing my new toilet; however, today I noticed the upper toilet tank which leans forward was not flush with the wall. This needs to be adjusted. Also, Fernando did not have adequate cleaning supplies to clean up the mess that was left on the floor after he removed the old toilet. Installation fees, delivery, and haul away old toilet, totalled over $200 so I expected a perfect job given the price. Thus, a three star rating. read more

I upgraded my kitchen countertop and Delta Mechanical took care of the plumbing. The day plumbing was disconnected, I told the plumber that garbage disposal will not be connected again; that I was getting rid of it. He said ok but did not say anything else. The day that plumbing was reconnected, the plumber told me he can't connect the air gap because there is no garbage disposal. Instead, he attached the dishwasher hose directly to the sink drain pipe. My new countertop has a hole for the air gap so he just put the air gap but it's not connected to anything. A couple of days later, I found out that air gap is required in CA. I called Delta for clarification and to connect mine. I was told that it is only required if it is a combination of the dishwasher and garbage disposal. Since I don't have garbage disposal, it is ok to not have the air gap. I honestly do not know anything about plumbing or the state code so I took their word for it. I gave it a four star only because of the the air gap issue, but all in all, I am happy with their service. read more

Not sure why this company have low reviews but anyway, here's mine..... Our old water pipes keeps on bursting which caused us to remove our tub and shower unit, the wall behind it, and the ceiling above it, we then finally had to do something about it since it's already open like that and shop around for a whole house repiping using the new pipes named PEX. Two plumbing company still recommends copper piping even though i told them that the house will be up for rent by the end of this year and we're worried that tenants might steal them (you can never fully trust people as much nowadays) and we heard that PEX is popular now, they still tried to convince me to get copper. This made me think either they don't know how to install PEX or they just want a bigger sale. However, they never emailed me the quote they promised. Another company recommended PEX and their quote was good (lesser than my budget) but it does not include patching up the holes after the job. I googled online and found Delta Mechanical and then they have an online quote generator and it gave me a price lesser than the other one for PEX installation (only a couple of hundred bucks but it can still go a long way for renovation) and their package includes patching up afterwards. Now i think it was a better deal. The company called me since i have other questions and David was very accommodating with my requests and other questions, he really took the time and he's great with follow up emails like the new price, warranty info., scope of work, and contract. He even sent out one of their district managers per my request just to double check the pipes and take pictures for their information also. They scheduled for the job and followed up to confirm the day and hours. I paid the 10% deposit over the phone and they processed it fast. Two technicians (George and Alex) came in and i think they were great, they removed their shoes to check the place and pipes and then they start prepping the floors and carpets and then obviously since everything is pretty covered they wore their shoes again, i just like the fact that they respect other people's floor/carpet (especially since i just had our carpet shampooed). They informed me on what needs to be removed from the cabinets, etc. and they were on it. They aim to finish the job in 2 days. I feel confident and happy that finally we had our dreaded old pipes replaced. My experience with this company is different from the rest of the reviewers here in Yelp who booked their services through Home Depot. read more

They were selected to remove/reinstall our toilets for floor installation. Initial appointment scheduled 12/26-no show. Appointment time changed to 12/28 without asking me. On December 28th the plumber arrived but didn't inform he was there, or when he would be back. He saw floor installers and told them "someone would be back Friday", but no one sent me a text or call. When I contacted Delta, they had no knowledge of why worker hadn't shown up. First available appointment was on Saturday. No one showed up and company not responding to my calls.
