Experience with DM overall was not great. Not terrible but not great. From confusion on customer service end to scheduling to tech that came out. Installed a RO water system & the the product itself is cheap & flimsy & has hardly any pressure. It takes 60 sec to fill up a Medium size dog bowl. Contacted Rheem and was told we would have to bring in the old one (to the Home Depot) in order to receive the refund and swap out for a new one. We had a water heater replaced by Home Depot a waterless tank and we were referred to Delta mechanical to do the install. They came out. They installed it the first thing that was wrong was he didn't have the recirculation thing that we paid extra for so he had to go back and get the part bring it back and install it a few days later our thing is leaking so they come out and he glues down part of the piping second time it's leaking again so he says I'm just gonna replace the whole pipe, the whole Tubing so he does that glue down everything but one section and of course the one section he didn't glue down is where it's leaking a third time we waited all day yesterday for them to come and check it out. We had an appointment with a certain window of time never showed up never called my husband called the next day rescheduled for today. He's been sitting there all morning waiting again another no-show no call. read more

We bought a new garbage disposal from Home Depot. It was installed by Delta Mechanical, Home Depot's contractor for installation. Delta called shortly after the purchase and set up an appointment for Luis Cisneros to come out and install the disposal. Luis was able to come earlier than scheduled and removed the old disposal and installed the new one in about half an hour. Reconsider using this plumbing company. They were unreliable and unprofessional. We had our kitchen renovation done by the Home Depot and they contracted this company to do the disconnect and reconnection of our kitchen plumbing. We had our appointment scheduled way in advance to ensure there was no delay in our renovation as it took a long 5 weeks. On the morning of our appointment, they called and stated they had to cancel and won't be able to come out until after 3 days later. The guy AJ lacked customer service skills and had no disposition. I asked to speak to the manager but he hung up on me. DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL COSTS! There are other plumbing companies there who are punctual and professional. I was able to book another 3 hours after they cancelled and it was a good thing that Home Depot took care of those additional charges. read more

You will get email and text message to confirm your appointment. On the day of the installation, you can even track how far away your installation guy is and ETA. Andrei C. Christian was our Delta Plumber who came out and replaced our Water Heater . He was very professional . He explained everything he was doing . They have a great transparent process of all you having done . He even said it was less as the stand was not required as ours was in good shape and the straps could be re used . The service scheduler Tom was most professional and helpful. He scheduled the install of the Rheem hot water heater purchased through Home Depot for the same day. Originally it was to occur mid afternoon, but the installer Genadi called later in the same morning and said he could be over shortly. Genadi did a very good job removing the existing heater and then installing the new heater. 4 instead of 5 stars, was because of two things: (1) Genadi did not fully bleed the air out of the system until I pointed out, using the recirculating pump valve, that there was a ton of air which would have prevented the system from operating correctly. He then fully bled the system using the drain cock on the heater. (2) he left all of the hot water heater shipping carton materials along with miscellaneous pipes and fittings he had removed from the old heater. When I asked him about it, he said I could put it in my own garbage pails and left. It ended up filling one and half large recycle containers along with a trash bin (for the non recycle stuff). read more

The work performed by the Craftmen was Very Good. The poor ranking is due to their lack of follow-through with projected scheduling. After installation, we smelled gas. We called SDGE and they were able to fix the leak which was called by faulty installation.

I made this purchase based largely on the professionalism of the gent that came to make the estimate. I had a LOT of questions about the equipment, and the install choices, and he was very patient, and very knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions. I was concerned that the price was a bit high, but, on further checking, I found that it was not. The team that came to make the install was like watching a macho ballet. Fernando was great, but he couldn't solve the problem. I was told it was a faulty faucet. I had it installed by Delta in November 2021, so out of warranty repair, but a lifetime on the unit. It is still leaking and I'm unable to go under the sink and diagnose the problem. I believe it can be repaired with a little effort, but Fernando told me they do not have the parts to fix the faucet. So I will call and see if I can get a new one. I was quoted a price for the attempted repair that is higher than the initial install. It's still leaking and I don 't know what I will be charged for this visit. After I contact Glacier Bay On Monday I will make my decision. If unit is not replaced, I will probably buy something other than Home Depot and have it it installed by another company. read more

Had brand new water heater installed 8/7/2020 at that visit the lead tech left tools, water heater tripped breaker a month later and lead tech said it was defective and replaced entire thing, didn't bring flash light asked me for one, 2 weeks later the "new" heater tripped the breaker again, called and lead tech said he didn't know what to tell us other than call electrician and get the breaker changed, mind you we had a prior water heater for 15 years that never had issues, so we called electrician and had the breaker box changed out, so then a week after that no hot water but the breaker never tripped so we called and delta was coming between 2-6 no call no Show, called the next day the tech said he didn't have phone service so he would come between 2-6 never came so we attempted to reset breaker and try water for hot water and the heater star the d smoking really bad. All in all nearly 1500 was spent for water heater installation etc at Home Depot and this is the company they send and it's been nothing but issue after issue and it's still unsolved read more

They arrived at designated time. Installed a water heater (water heater $1680 installation $1764.00) ran the water line... not where it previously ran, out of the way, but very close to the washing machine....which would have been hit whenever doing laundry. When I inquired about the placement the tech said "I only have to please the inspector" . They insisted on installing a pressure regulator valve (hasn't had one for 40 years that I've had the property and water company says nowhere in the entire city of IB is the water pressure above 87 lbs...that was $380 additional. The shark bite fittings they installed leaked immediately and water ran down the street (in a drought) for a week..they said they couldn't get the water shut off at the street...the water company replaced the shutoff and they came and tried to fix the leak, unsuccessfully... until the Senior Tech arrived and saved the day....he rerouted the offensive supply line to the water heater and assisted the original tech in fixing the leak. Only the Sr. Tech made this while painful process acceptable. The water company estimates bill to be 3.5x normal. read more

Fernando was knowledgeable and friendly . He was meticulous and detailed in his work. After the job was completed, I asked him if he could vacuum the standing water from the drip pan under the water heater. He advised he did not have a water vacuum the water would eventually evaporate. He advised me to call Delta and arrange for someone to return to the job site with a vacuum. I would think that is in his realm. That much of standing water eventually gets mucky and moldy. I would appreciate a call back. read more

I shopped water heaters, found the best for me, and called the Home Depot installation line to check out installation prices. Brian from Delta called back within the hour, reviewed what would be needed, advised me on local codes, and gave me a price over the phone. No pressure to sign up so I checked with another local guy who was higher priced and sounded whiny, so I called Brian back and we set the install date. I later had to change the date and had no problem doing so. On install day the Delta installer Luis called in advance, showed up in a Delta truck with the right product and made quick work of my replacement. These clowns hired by Home Depot to install my toilet. They came without notice after I requested a call, then gave me a story about how they won't guarantee there work because it was a used toilet my tile installers removed when doing my floor. You could tell he didn't want to deal with it. After bolting it down it leaked at the tank. The joke of a plumber said "well I did my job" and left without offering any remedy or even looking at exactly what was wrong. After calling the manager to file a complaint three times, I was told "I'll have a manager call you back" of course that never happened. They left me with a leaking toilet. STAY AWAY! read more
