I have nothing bad to say about Felix Dental. I'm not a fan of getting dental work, but who is right. They make you feel important. If there's an issue they are quick to fix it. This guy is horrible! He did a root canal and other procedures on my wife. He failed to give her pain meds and antibiotics. It put her in the hospital. As I write this, she has been there for over a week. She is still in tremendous pain, and the infection went from her tooth to the side of her face, to her temple, to the back of her eye, to the sinuses and head. They had to put her on tons of IV antibiotics and steroids and are talking about sinus surgery. I'm furious! Get another dentist. read more

First let me be clear, I have hated dentists! I have grabbed three dentists and one dental hygienists in my lifetime. I guess I am allergic to pain. A friend recommended Dr. Felix, so I sent my wife to check him out (she is the brave one). She came back and gave him high marks. So I made an appointment. I did not spend much time in the beautiful waiting room with the friendly receptionist. I filled out the paperwork and was immediately taken to the back by the dental hygienist. She was also friendly. Dr. Felix came in and explained his technique and how he uses his own garden for fresh veggies. Everyone helped get me into a calm state of mind. Dr. Felix is a soft spoken man and proved me the most complete examination I have ever had. The one that I wasn't familiar with was the measuring of my gum lines. I have never had that procedure before. The doctor would always ask if I was ok. He also explained he likes to keep the measurements for future reference. He is very methodical and thorough. Based on my measurements, I was required to get a deep cleaning. This is a two appointment procedure. The first one is the left side and the second is for the right. I have had this procedure 25 years before and never went back for the second appointment (too painful, I am a sissy). I hoped Dr. Felix would be different and he was. And he was. I was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep during both appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Felix and his staff. read more

Today was my first time at Felix Care Dental! I was very pleased from my walking into this environment and walking out. The administrative, Kristen was just excellent. From demeanor , to understanding my situation and helping me through the process. Her warm welcome was much appreciated on this early morning. Not just only was Kristen amazing, but the whole staff ! A plus even all the staff was very kind and made conversation with me! My new dentist and dental assistant were very comforting and informational from the process of explaining what's going on with my teeth and answering any questions. Loved this experience from the beginning. Kristen at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating from booking my appointment to moving things along quickly when I got there. Abel was super nice and made me feel very comfortable and cared for. Can't say enough about how great Dr. Felix was. He was very thorough about my exam and was clear about his suggestions and observations. My cleaning was comprehensive and quick, and I left feeling sparkly clean. The bottle of sparkling cider at the end for becoming a new patient was truly a cherry on top of an A+ experience. As soon as I got home, I made sure my husband made an appointment. They're such amazing people! Right when you walk in your greeted with high energy. I got my right top and bottom wisdom teeth pulled by Dr.Felix in one day. Naturally it's the worst experience ever but they make you feel comfortable and ask you if you're ok and comfortable through out the whole process. Everything healed correctly and pretty quickly too. Fast forward a month later, got my left top and bottom wisdom pulled also and it went way easier than the first time and everything healed faster too. Highly recommend! read more

Dr Felix & his staff are top notch!! Service is amazing. Very personable & welcoming, as a new patient, I felt very at ease. They utilize technology to enhance convenience for appointment reminders! I get a text message confirming my appointment AND there's an option to add the appointment to your own calendar app (Outlook, iCalendar, Google) All staff, including Doctor let you know exactly what is being done and why, and show you exactly through pictures so you are aware throughout process, they also regularly ask if you are "okay" as well. Communication is a priority. Dr will present issues that he recommends to be corrected, allowing you to make an educated decision on how to proceed. Appointments can be scheduled easily, usually within a week. Very nice & clean office. There is a very large wall saltwater aquarium in the waiting/reception area. As a fellow business owner, I can appreciate all the little things, this office does, and they do so in a concerted effort. Its all for the benefit of the patient. I have gone to Nelson Dental for years. Being a original patient of George Nelson, I was pleasantly surprised that his son, Khari Nelson, offered the same warm and professional service. Pros: Unlike many dental offices, you get a 3 point check that your are clear about prices and what services will be rendered. Clean, prompt services with excellent staff. Cons: In the Summer time, my car is hot(wanted to be fair and not include a pointless con...lol) Went yesterday for a pain free root canal and will go back for a cleaning in a few weeks. read more

I have been going to Nelson Dental for a very long time since I moved to Sacramento. It was close to my first apartment in the area, but even after I moved away, I keep going back for my dental work. The whole office is nice and clean, but the staff are really top notch. Dr. Nelson does a great job, and all his staff seem to be in a perpetual good mood. Going to the dentist is never anyone's favorite activity, but Nelson manages to make the experience as good as it gets when someone is scraping your teeth with metal picks and drilling away those pesky cavities. They take most insurance policies and have flexible hours to accommodate most schedules. Plus, they have a cool fish tank and nice tropical palm tree images on the lights. The best Dentist apt ever. It feels great when you can talk to your dentist about your children and their children and everybody in the office is so nice. I strongly recommend if your job provides insurance this is the place. Even if you don't have insurance their rates are affordable. It's better to get care for your teeth and mouth you'll appreciate it in the long run. I guess that's kind of what was ingrained in me by my parents. Now I passed that lesson on to my 3 children Nelson Dental rocks!! Last I checked they had evening appointments and I can confirm that they are on call 24/7. read more

I lost a crown on my molar tooth over the weekend and I googled Dentists and called on a Saturday and the lady I spoke to was very polite and professional and they were able to see me on Monday and i was a new patient. Yet that wasn't an issue. The whole staff was very welcoming and treated me with dignity. I was able to get a new crown same day everything done right at their office. Going to the dentist gives me anxiety , but I felt very taken care of and Felix Care Dental will be my new primary care dentist for myself and husband.
