Blair replaced 5 skylights with a more reasonable 3 of a slightly smaller size that better suited the space. They also re-paneled the inside ceiling and carefully matched the stain so everything looks really great. No further issues with roof leaks. Frankly, I would trust the folks at Blair to make everything right - plus they are good people. Thinking of using them again for another big project, because they are professionals in the truest sense of the word. This was a job for replacement of old siding on an old house. I got a recommendation from another contractor and gave them a try for a competitive bid. Their bid was in line with others, and Tyler, their representative was very helpful, quick to respond, and just a polite and gracious person. This was the first time I had had to carry out a siding project and I had a lot of questions (and changed my mind a bit too... he did not get annoyed, thank you Tyler!). The contract and approval were online, which I appreciate. The work was scheduled and done in four days, and the work is excellent. Tyler checked in with me twice a day to see how things were going. He made suggestions and incorporated my ideas as the job was going on. One reviewer here complained about the person answering the phone and I have to agree, she is not the best (in 2023), but I never had to deal with her after the first call. This is a great contractor.

Apparently they have gone through a complete turnover in staff. It is very difficult to get them on the phone and they don't always return phone calls. They told me that I needed to have the flashing resealed and the chimney wrapped (which was causing the leak). I paid $750. A few months later the exact same leak re-occured. They came out and looked and it and told me they didn't see any leaks but that i needed a whole new roof on the addition for $2500! I called another company to come out and give me an estimate and they said my roof is fine and has at least another 5 years on it. The issue was the gutter was bent towards my house and when we had torrential rains in overflowed and went through a gap in the siding. I paid them $200 to fix the issue and the leak was never a problem again.

The guy I originally met with and got the quote from was not the same man who was at my house to do…read morethe work. I was supposed to get a subfloor replacement, but instead got a flooring demo with the assurance that the flooring installers "can install on top of the existing flooring. No problem". When I brought up the issue of having to pay 3800 for only 2 out of 5 lines of the contract were met, I was only able to talk down to 2800 total (after I paid a $1900 cash deposit). Guess what? The flooring company couldn't install. So I paid the flooring company to do what they were supposed to. This is what I get for getting flooring thru Home Depot... Maybe I should have let BetterVisiond fix their mistake. But I had absolutely no confidence in their ability to fix what they did. Either way. Get your contract with each line itemized so you don't pay $2800 for a 500 sq foot flooring demo. Half of which was tile that they left a nice layer of adhesive on. I have the pictures.
