This company will call you from the Philippines and promise you free round trip airline tickets, free $300 restaurant certificate, and a free 3 day 2 night stay in a hotel in exchange for 90 minutes of your time. What they don't tell you is the rest of what Love L says. They don't tell you that you actually have to pay money to get to use your heavily restricted prizes. Called me on my cell in spite of being on the federal do not call list. Fraudulently claimed to be from "Delta Airlines" and they wanted to have me attend a seminar at their office to give them feedback. For this, I would be given free airline tickets and three nights at a 5 star hotel, $200 in dining vouchers and all sorts of pie in the sky items. I also got a call of "Free Gifts" but I know better that nothing is FREE. When I got there I asked about the gifts since I had did my research before attending. Their marketing is a hired company who should tell u this: $300 Restaurant Certificate (pay $29.99 and receive $25.00 gift card a month for year) Airfare for 2 with hotel stay in the U.S. ($99.00 each person) Cruise for 2 for 3,4,5 or 7 night cruise to Mexico or Caribbean ($99.00 each person). The small print on gifts says the company providing them is solely responsible. So if it is a cruise from Sunrise than u need to deal with Sunrise for any issues of refund. I stayed for the 90min presentation. THERE WERE NO OBLIGATIONS TO PAY ANYTHING. Why pay for the gifts if u become a member? I learned the membership allows 4 members so I called my friends I go on trips with and divided the cost so we can go on more trips for less and all over the world unlike timeshare. All the bad reviews are about the "FREE GIFTS" not the actual Travel Club Membership. If you buy the membership and can't book a trip than it is a Scam. IT'S A SCAM. When you get there they will make you go through a presentation that offers membership to a vacation club for $10,000. They claim to give you a free vacation just for coming to the presentation, but that is also a scam. There are multiple companies setup to play various parts of the scam. You end up having the same person picking up the phone no matter which one you call. My wife and I recently got married. We went to this and obviously we could not afforded such a membership. So when we found out the price we understood that it was out of our league so we declined and walked away. They offered us a free package that included flight, hotel, and cruise. We spent $500 in fees and ended up getting the run around. At every stage they try to make it so difficult and virtually impossible to book a trip. They have these rules that are designed to through you off and with the first mistake on the multiple forms that you have to fill out, you get booted and loose your deposits. So not only could we not afford the vacation club, but at this point we are out $500 as well. Do not go to these meetings. You are wasting your time and money. read more

These guys called me out of the blue from an Alberta, Canada number. I used to go to timeshare presentations all the time to get free stuff, so I can smell a telemarketer a mile away. Anyway, they made it sound like they were from Delta Airlines, which got my attention. If you listen carefully, they say we are from Delta, airline tickets and vacations. Something like that. They say you are "selected" but they have no idea who you are. They asked for my personal info right off the bat, and when I told them to hold a sec while I googled them, they hung up. read more

SCAM- I did go to the presentation, signed up, and when I signed up they gave me 3 nights for free in Vegas. I tried to use the free nights and after going back and forth with the person that books your stay nothing was done. I had to book with someone else. I also got the offer of the cruise and the plane, I sent all of the requirements that they had and I still was not able to collect on that either. My one year renewal came up and I sent them an email telling them not to renew my membership, they still went ahead and charged my credit card. Now I have to go and try and clear that up. My husband got an email offering 2 gifts if we sat through their 90min presentation. It's only 40 min drive to get there, so he figured why not... I am a skeptic when it comes to someone trying to sell me stuff, whether it's carpet, a car or some kind of service, like a travel club. Essentially, they're offering "let us do all the work for you AND get you a lower price on every place you want to go and do" services. "Skeptic Me" did fell like the presenter was quite up front about things: he said they know that most of us came because of their gift offerings; they know that some of us will buy into their program and some won't; and important to me, he said "if you got a call from a heavy accented caller in the Phillipines and they promised you xyz, their promise is not true" especially if they told you that your "free cruise" was for an outside room with the a balcony or first class. In essence, he apologized for that type of "hey, it got you here" approach without saying he was sorry, but then went on to say we have to realize the 'gifts' are what they are and we have the OPTION to upgrade and pay THOSE fees and services charges. The "agent" assigned to us for before and after the presentation was nice enough, but I felt the "closer" was a little heavy handed for a "no high pressure sales"; I think she knew our answer was going to be no, and she was just going through her schpeal but did offer what I'd call a "bare bones" plan that was not mentioned during the presentation... Then they swapped "agents" on us because as the one said "you have move in here because the next batch of people are coming in now..." My wife and I attended a presentation at Delta Travel. I read the reviews on Yelp, and still came in to validate authenticity of any such scam. I was a skeptic at first. I was welcomed in the lobby, and was impressed at the professional staff. My wife attended with me, as we are traveler's. We sat with a gentleman named Jade, and was very professional. We were offered coffee, tea, cookies, water, just about anything. This place was professionally set up. So we watched a slide show presentation, and wham, the prices were dropped, and right away, my wife was like NO. But I told her to keep an open mind, so we could see other options, if there were any. Afterwords, we sat back with Jade, and we talked. We told him we traveled, but felt the prices were a bit out of our price range. Jade asked me where was the next vacation my wife and I had planned, so I told him we were going to Cabo San Lucas for 1 week in July. I already had my trip booked at what I calculated to be a killer deal. Jade walked me over to the travel agents that they have on site, and I gave her my travel plans, she asked for 5 minutes. At no point did she ask what I was going to pay. About 5 minutes later, she came back with a quote of almost $945.00 less than what I was going to pay. My wife and I travel 4 times a year, and if this was the savings on just 1 trip, this is the place to be. Long story short, my wife and I signed up, and became members. We are very happy members, and we have been successful in booking travel for our family members as well. The savings are great, and I have recommended several of my friends to Delta Travel. There is no scam. This location is fully operational. I believe that the other posts or comments on here are from people that truly can not afford to purchase these travel packages. I am curious if these people actually attended a presentation slide show like my wife and I did, because we did not sense anything with a scam, and I work for the government (internal affairs). One last comment, the gifts. We were able to trade our gifts back in, for a travel discount ($1,000). We all have to pay taxes, no way around that. There are taxes associated with any gift. You do not pay anything to Delta Travel. If you paid them for a gift, then it could be considered fraud, but you are not paying them for anything. This was the first question I asked Jade when we sat down. Jade assured us there was only taxes involved, but we were offered a trade in on the gift. For purchasing a package, we also received a free 3 day 2 night trip to Las Vegas. This was all expenses paid. Havent took advantage of it yet, but we will.
