I recently had to move to Omaha, Nebrask from Santa Clarita, California and I needed a large vehicle to move several boxes for my relocation efforts. I thought the Chrysler Pacifica would be reliable enough for the over 1500 mile trip. It wasn't. After my son had flown in from Nebraska to help me pack the first vehicle, as I had rented the car Wednesday,April 22 to meet his expectation and HIS work schedule. I thought I was on my way. I was scheduled to leave the early morning of April 27th but had car starting issues the night of April 25th, which was a Saturday night. What Enterprise doesn't know is that I used my own AAA to start the car and perform a diagnostic. We knew, for a fact the battery was bad and the FOB needed a new battery. Even the AAA Tech said, 'Why did they give you this car? It's a 2023!" It also had that smell of sulphur/rotten eggs that is associated with a vehicle being grounded; therefore not serviced for road readiness. Mind you, everything is packed and assumed ready to go and room for a few more boxes and the cats would have a place to be comfortable. Sunday, the 26the came, and the car wouldn't start. So I called Enterprise!. You know they always grin and say, "If you have any problems just call us!". They sent their AAA tech this time, he got it started, and he told me to be sure everything is closed up because the battery will drain....well duh! What he didn't know is that I already made sure of that as well as the car having an indicator of any doors left open when trying to engage the alarm. Also, I should have been able to hold the FOB to the ignition and pressed the brake, the car should have started if the battery cells were healthy for the configuration. So I got the car back to Enterprise, the manager advised of the recalls and did mention the car had been sitting, I asked him, 'How often do you all change the FOB batteries?" He said, "Every 3 or 4 months". Which made no sense for a car that has been grounded. I think he lied. I think he spoke too much that day. The packages for moving. Okay, so they seem to have wanted to provide an image of helpfulness by tossing my items from one van to the next in a hap-hazard manner. When I got home, with the other raggedy van, but at least it started. I had to get all the boxes out again, get help with restacking as I had the initial van, so that I could see behind me and complete the few boxes I had left to load and mimick the work my son had done in the first place!. This took several hours because I had to find someone to help me. My son was already gone! I was delayed by a day. The little girl calls me, with her sing songy voice and expresses to me that I would be charged for the Roadside, that I didn't have the right amount of gas in the death trap of a vehicle, which I did and she ask was there anything else? I informed her that the AES light kept coming on, that's in relation to the braking system and the 'Service Required' warning light kept coming on. Never ever will I trust Enterprise, Valencia for anything!...I have used them several times over the years, even in work and travel using other sites. Honestly, I don't think I should have been charged for that extra day due to car mal-function delay. It's not sitting well at all. read more

The experience started out good. Two weeks ago Brian from the Valencia office located a midsize SUV at this location. I met with Jack and the service began to decline. He informed me the vehicle only had 1/4 tank of fuel and that he could add some but the card would not allow him to top it off as I was requesting. When the vehicle was presented to me, it was dirt inside & out. I asked if it had been washed. Jack replied that they gave it a rinse off. That is not the their company pledge on the wall states. (See attached photo) I requested that the dirt be cleaned from the passenger seat & dashboard as well as the exterior washed. When Devante appeared to take the vehicle for a wash, he said he'd also top off the fuel for me, which was much appreciated. A while later Devante presented the vehicle clean on the inside and dripping wet covered with water on the exterior. After being there for over an hour, I finally left with the vehicle. Today when I arrived to return the vehicle the location was closed & a note read, be back in 10-15 minutes. Out picking up cars. The office was locked up tight. I waited approximately 20 minutes until the sole employee, Jack, arrived to check the vehicle in. On a positive note, everyone was polite and professional. I believe the issue is employee staffing. I used Enterprise because the insurance company deals with them directly. read more

I arranged for a rental car for three days. I was provided with the car that I selected. The pick up process was good, and the return process was very easy. The only issue I had was that the car was not clean when I picked it up. The outside was okay, but the interior was not clean! read more

Ordered a car 2 weeks in advance. The day before pick up I called to make sure they would have the type of cars I reserved. Nope, didn't and wouldn't have. I could drive to a busy airport to get the kind of car I reserved. Yeah, NO! Never never never will use them. read more

So I'm writing this basically as an alternative to the review I wrote about the Enterprise on Magic Mountain Pkwy. I was not happy there, so I came here, which is what I was supposed to do based on the location of my body shop. I tried the other shop because I was told they had a bigger selection. Not true. Anyway, when I got here, I was greeted by Brian. He had a quiet, calm demeanor. He wasn't trying to upsell me on anything even though I inquire about upgrading what my insurance covered. I appreciate that, because it seems these days, every salesperson is trying to get you to spend more money than you need to. In the end, I did upgrade a little and I was happy with my decision. I got a Hyundai Santa Fe versus a basic sedan because, hey, I have kids. The car was clean, but I did notice the very first day that the middle console latch was broken and didn't close all the way unless you pushed on it pretty hard. I called Brian that afternoon and made him aware. He apologized. No worries, I moved on. Then about 3 days into the rental, it started to rain. It actually rained for several days that week (who said it never rains in Soutern California?). And I noticed that the windshield wipers were horrible. It was harder to see through the windshield when I used them versus when I didn't. Ok, this was a bit of an inconvenience. I commute about 35 miles each way to and from work so I had to be creative just to see in front of me. I had the car for about 8 days, I believe, and upon returning it, I mentioned these things to the female representative behind the counter. I'm sorry, I didn't catch her name. But she immediately offered to discount a fairly substantial amount off the price I was paying out of pocket for my upgrade. That made me happy. I didn't have to ask for a discount, she just offered. It really makes a difference to me because had she not offered the discount, this review would definitely be much different. I'd definitely come back to this Enterprise in the future. read more

When you pick up a car here please check the car for inside smell. The car I picked up smelled like a chain smoker drove it before me (I did not notice right away but my wife knew it as soon as she rode in it the first, and last, time). Also, check the air in the tires as well. First time I went to drive it after taking it home, I had to pump up air. The second time it happens to the same tire, I figured it must have a slow leak and had to keep an air pump in car at all times. I tried to call to switch it out several times, but, the extension to reach the desk there would Never get picked up ( they won't spend the money on an answering machine). So, when you pick your car up check it out thoroughly because that's the car you are stuck with. read more

I understand the busy Saturday morning, it's Saturday. But what is the point of making a reservation if the car you're reserving isnt available? First problem: Beong quoted 1 policy and then being baited and switched at check in. I called and was given a given a completely differnt under 25 driving policy. But what I most don't appreciate is the attitude of our representative. There was such a bad attitude from her. Her entire attitude was very "well what are you going to do about it". Offering me the privilege of paying more for what i didn't ask for is not customer service. read more

Robert is amazing ! I was involved in a fender bender and had to leave my car at the shop, not only did they pick me up from the shop but they also honored my request of having a rental with great gas mileage. Robert helped me with my pick up and drop off and it was pretty simple and straight forward, and he always has a great attitude. 11/10 for me read more

The associates at this branch were outstanding! Wendi the Branch manager, Brian the assistant manager, and Al provided exceptional customer service! I had to take my vehicle into a body shop after being rear ended and the folks at Enterprise made it easy! I got picked up after dropping my car off at the body shop by Al. I was processed and in my rental in less than 15 minutes. The best part of my experience was coming back to return the rental. I was on a conference call that I couldn't hang up on so I stood outside of the office to finish up. Brian noticed this, recognized me, came outside to grab the keys from me so I could continue working and got me checked out while I was on my call. The branch manager at the Valencia/Magic Mountain Parkway was so mean!! She had the audacity to hang up on a paying customer simply for asking too many questions about the charges.They charged me about $1000 dollars for two weeks. For simply making a modification for an extra week it was still $800. Because of the extra cost, I asked if it was a deposit that she was also taking out. Simply for being inquisitive about my hard-earned money, she sighed and spoke to me in a condescending manner. I had such a horrible day at work, the last thing I needed was a branch manager being rude, especially when I was still trying to rent out the car for more days than were allotted. I am so disappointed in the customer service lately. Needless to say, I will not be renting from here again read more

I've had to deal with enterprise Rent-A-Car before at different locations but this location was by far the best experience ever. Kirsten was the first person that helped me set up the process for a rental car and I was picked up at the body shop by James. Both of them were very friendly and provided exceptional customer service. The process from the time I walked in the door was literally 5 minutes, and dropping off the car maybe 10 at the most.. The first car I rented I wasn't that happy with but it was also a holiday weekend so there wasn't much to choose from, but called them and within a few days I was switched into a car of my choice within my price limit and I was literally in and out within 5 minutes. They both are super sweet and professional and definitely know how to provide excellent customer service. I would definitely use this location if you had a choice. It's the best! When I called on Friday asking for a specific make and model she didn't have one but offered to call when one came in. We got a call a few hours later. She took care of all the details with the insurance company and got us in a rental with absolutely no hassle. If you are thinking of renting a car from Enterprise DON'T! I rented a car from them drove it to Palm Springs, parked overnight and brought it to the Palm Springs Enterprise location to turn it in. The 2 men behind the counter said they were going to look over the car before they took the vehicle. The one man went straight to the driver's door opened it and on the inside of the door was a paint chip the size of a grain of rice. He said, "Oh there's damage we're going to have to report this or you can give us $200 now" I said, WHAT?! , NO! this is a scam. There is no damage at all. I took a photo and later sent it to Enterprise. They were silent on the matter for 2 months. Suddenly I got a bill for $500 in the mail stating that I'd returned the car damaged! I disputed it and they black balled me from renting any of their cars ever. Well, GOOD! They are scam artists and blackmailers! Even if you take photos of the car they will find a spot you didn't photograph and create damage so they can blackmail you right there in their shop or since they own so many rental car agencies they'll blackmail you with never being able to rent a car anywhere else. Luckily there are still other rental agencies out there that I use. read more
