I have been using Delta World Tire on Guilbeau Road in Lafayette for my tires since the mid-90s. After my last experience, I will never go back. On April 22, 2025, I sent my son in with the car he drives on occasion because the front tires were worn on the outside. I knew they needed to be replaced and the front end aligned. The rear tires were fine, no real wear at all. Delta World Tire aligned the front end and I paid for 2 new tires. I noticed in January 2026, the front tires were worn again. I thought the alignment must have been bad from the beginning or something else had gone wrong for tires less than a year old to be so worn. An appointment was made on January 27. I was told the front end was fine, but the tires needed to be replaced. I told them just to put the good tires on the front and move the others to the back, but I was told that was illegal; the best tires HAVE to be on the front of the car. It was then I realized what they had done: when I purchased 2 new tires in April, they left the WORN tires on the front of the car and replaced the GOOD tires! I'm sure that's great for business, but they will no longer get any of mine. By the way, the treads on the front tires are only worn to the outside and the second tread passes the penny test. Not sure about "the best tires have to be on the back" (I have read opinions pro on con concerning that); if you follow that rule, you would never be able to rotate your tires because the front tires will always wear faster than the rear and therefore the rear will always be the best. read more

Trash. Gave one price quote over the phone for 4 tires, upon arrival the cost had suddenly and mysteriously increased. Went to leave and find another tire place, and then they were able to miraculously lower the price. Quoted an hour and a half wait, waited 2 1/2. They talked more than they worked. I never leave bad reviews on anything unless it's really serious. This is seriously messed up. I go in for a tire change. I also ask while I'm there how much an oil change is. The man at the front desk says $40. I'm like okay that's great. I'll have an oil change as well. So I leave and come back. When I get back the guy says everything is going to be $180 something. I'm like why is it so expensive? He says, tire change was $100 and the oil was $80. I'm like, I thought you said it was $40? He said, yes I did. But your car needs full synthetic. So basically he changed my oil without my permission. Threw away my old oil and I couldn't change it back. Not only did he over charge me, he played me for a fool without any remorse. I'm a poor full time student. I don't need this BS in my life. So please do yourself a favor and don't go here and get painfully ripped off like I did. I have been doing business with Delta World Tire for 20 years and have always been very pleased every time we have brought either of our vehicles to them for repairs. I trust them completely. Several times we have brought one of our vehicles in thinking something major is wrong and they find that it is something simple and inexpensive. We have never had the slightest problem and have always been very pleased with their service. Everyone there is always cheerful and pleasant to deal with. This morning we brought our vehicle in at 7:30 when they opened. We were leaving to go out of town with grandchildren and discovered that we had a nail in one of our tires. They immediately took care of the repair so we could leave on our trip. We always recommend Delta World Tire to anyone looking for service to their vehicle. To whom it may concern: I will like to warn you guys to please excuse any grammar errors or incomplete sentences because right now I'm currently in depression and suffering with severe anxiety. I live in Houston, Texas and I am a disable veteran who has been diagnose with PTSD. I have to see a psychiatrist every week due to the severance of my condition I been out of work since October 19, 2017 on medical leave and it's putting me in a bad financial crisis. In December, I went visit my family in Lafayette, Louisiana (my hometown) because I just got the psychiatric hospital on December 15, 2017 and I wanted to celebrate Christmas with my family. On my way to LA my heater core broke. I made it there by the grace of God, I had to pull over five times to put water in my car. I was stuck in LA for roughly 3 weeks before I became able to afford to get that part fixed. On January 04, 2018 I went to Delta World Tires on 203 Guilbeau Road. It took them one week to fix that part and they charged $1500. When I received my car, parts were cut of my vehicle and place on my back seat, my PA system wires was across my foot pedals and no longer connected. (I know for a fact I did not dropped off my vehicle in that condition). I went to Delta World Tires and asked them to remove my wires from in front of pedals. The guy just removed it out my foot space and did not put it back in it same position whenever I left my car in their possession. The same day I received my car I drove back home to Houston, TX. Two weeks later the same part broke, but I was getting a few different complications from the first time. Speaking with the manager at Delta he told me to get my heater core bypass and drive my car back to Louisiana that is 4 hours away. I told him I can not afford to pay someone to do a heater core bypass, my two back tires are bad (FYI: they are 35 inches), and my refrigerator went out and all my food went bad. He told me to take it to him whenever I can. I was calling around at different mechanics to get a free diagnostic because my car started smoking and transmission coolant that was leaking in my car again started smelling louder. On February 5,2018, I was able to get mechanics to look at my car and they stated both of my heater core hoses are busted, and the coolant is hitting the firewall causing smoke to come from my car hood giving off a burning smell. Furthermore, in my glove compartment the A/C Box Foam is missing and it has a large gap in it. I am NOT happy with Delta World Tires! A roundtrip to LA is $100 for me. Also, I been inhaling coolant for a month and a half now and it is causing me to have migraine. Furthermore, I have two dogs and I don't have anyone to take care of them while I am gone nor family in LA is not able to help me with them either. I cannot afford to put my dogs in a doggy hotel because I just laid off my job on February 9, 2018 while on medical leave. It is now February 22, 2018 and I still don't know how I can get my vehicle to Delta World Tires, so they fixed the problem correctly this time. read more

My experience with Delta World Tire has always been good. They are the place to go for all my car repairs. Bob and Dennis are easy to deal with, courteous, and professional at all times. The work done on my card are appropriate and done right the first time. They are also willing to let me know when I don't need something and have offered other options (self repair) on occasion. I will continue to use them and based on the clientele traffic I see there regularly, am not the only one who appreciates their service. read more
