I asked for a rough estimate for the replacement of the alternator, which was previously determined as to be replaced by AutoZone. The rough estimate was $395. The store location said they would the parts and have them there for the next morning. The store location also said that they would start the assessment and repair the next morning. The assessment and repair did not start until after 2 PM the next day and the rough estimate to over $800. The store gave false information and/or withheld information regarding scheduling and repair time. After driving away, I began to hear a whining noise coming from under the hood.

I went to Delta World Tire today for a tire repair. When I arrived, there were only two people…read moreahead of me. Despite that, I ended up waiting for over an hour with no updates. I finally went up to the counter to ask for a time frame, and the guy at the counter--Will--basically ignored me. Another worker nearby noticed and came over to assist. Thankfully, he was able to get my repair handled quickly. After the repair was completed, I waited another 10 minutes for someone to check me out. No one came over, so I went back to the counter. Will told me he would get someone to check me out, but it still took longer than it should have. I ended up being there for nearly two hours for a simple tire repair. They don't have vending machines for drinks or snacks--just coffee--so waiting was frustrating. Meanwhile, I could see employees on their phones, seemingly unconcerned with the long wait times. I won't be going back to Delta World Tire. The service was slow, the communication was lacking, and the overall experience was disappointing.

Last week I brought my Chevy Silverado to have my tire pressure monitors replaced/serviced. This was the second time in about 4 months to have this done. No problem, chalked it up to "it happens). I was told at that time my brake pads needed to be replaced as well. My monitoring system said I had about 25% left on pads. Couldn't do it then because of time. Under normal situations I would have my regular mechanic (automotive plus) do this work but since they identified the problem I said what the heck. I called yesterday set up the work and wanted to have it scheduled for this morning, was told it would take about an hour and a half and I would wait. i also decided to have an oil change done which would qualify me for a tire rotation (This was the second set of tires for the truck, both time purchases made at Delta). I arrived at 7:30am. The truck was put on the lift at 8:45. Bottom line: the administrator called me up to settle. She indicated the break pads didn't need to be replaced after saying they needed to be replaced. I asked her if the tires were rotated and she said yes. I went to the back to tip the technician as I always do. I asked him if he had rotated tires and he said no (I tipped him anyway, good Kid). Long story short: almost 2 hours for an oil change and this is all that was done. The bothersome thing for me was the Misinformation proved by the lady in the front. Disappointing.

I went to the local auto parts and ask for a local tire shop I could get some replacement tires. As I was walking back to our camper in the campground. I asked the guy how much his camper weighed and what tires he had. As we were talking, I told him our issue about needed some tires. He said I can help you with that. Come to find out he and his wife own L & L tire. They told us what tire we should have on our camper. She ordered tires that day and said they would be the next morning. We were at there shop the next moring and back on the road with new tires in a couple hours. If ever get back that way. I definately stop and get new tires there. Called all local places and this place had the cheapest brake changes by far! At least $150 saved per axle at this place. They are very knowledgeable with vehicles and will not lie to you about what you need. They may say you will need go get your rotors replaced, like they told me. I understood why because I knew my brakes were squeaking for a while and I knew they might have to replace the rotors too. Getting your rotors replaced as well as a full brake change is still less than all other places in the Lafayette area. Would not go anywhere else for a brake change. 100% best place to go

I brought my car in today because it has started shaking when I'm on the highway. The guy says it's $65 to rebalance the tires. I told him that didn't sound right, usually when you buy 4 new tires from a place they will do a rebalance at no charge, especially since it has only been 4 months. The guy tells me they don't do that. I tell him they must not have done it right then if its already needing a realignment. He has the nerve to tell me "our guys are smart enough to do it properly." OH boy was he wrong!! I leave and go to Delta World tires, as they DO offer a free realignment if you purchase the tires with them. They go to take off the tire...and guess what? Some "genius" at Firestone cross threaded my lug nut. Now it has to be replaced because of the incompetence of Firestone. Save yourself the headache, and go to Delta. This place is a racket, just looking to steal your money and put your life in danger. And it'll cost more to fix their mistakes with a reputable business.
