Rude and incompetent. I got 4 new tires at the end of April with these guys. Customer service was bad, but I gave them a pass. Big mistake. I brought my car in today because it has started shaking when I'm on the highway. The guy says it's $65 to rebalance the tires. I told him that didn't sound right, usually when you buy 4 new tires from a place they will do a rebalance at no charge, especially since it has only been 4 months. The guy tells me they don't do that. I tell him they must not have done it right then if its already needing a realignment. He has the nerve to tell me "our guys are smart enough to do it properly." OH boy was he wrong!! I leave and go to Delta World tires, as they DO offer a free realignment if you purchase the tires with them. They go to take off the tire...and guess what? Some "genius" at Firestone cross threaded my lug nut. Now it has to be replaced because of the incompetence of Firestone. Save yourself the headache, and go to Delta. This place is a racket, just looking to steal your money and put your life in danger. And it'll cost more to fix their mistakes with a reputable business. read more

Only speaking of the Johnston location. I have been doing business with Firestone for 17-19 years and it has been excellent. This location is always slow, short of technicians.... But the worst is being lied to, they say honesty is their keystone yet I was lied to. Tell me the truth, do not lie to my face. Never again!! read more

My husband ordered tires for my car and was told they would be in the following Monday or Tuesday. no problem. Monday after work I go on to check on the tires they were not there. still no problem. The clerk reiterated that he would call me when they arrived to avoid a blank trip. the next day at around 2:30 I got a call saying the tires were in. I'm a teacher who teaches 4 miles from this location. school lets out at 2:45. I leave immediately and go to Firestone. the clerk tells me, oh they are here but we can't put them on we are backed up. can you come back tomorrow. annoyed then but it happens. I am required to be at work at 6:45, my son drops me off and head straight to Firestone to be there for 7. tires are put on he went straight home. Lunch comes around and I call him to bring me food. He gets in my car drives and the tire is completely FLAT. I call Firestone and I was told maybe he ran over a nail.. he can bring it back and we can check. Sir 1st how?? My son is visiting from California. my husband is at work.(very very annoyed) we have no other vehicle. My son gets the tire off himself and get a ride back there only to find out that the techs did not put the valve back on the tire. Not only am I angry, but my son is as well. He witnessed workers standing around joking while he waited to get the tires on in the first place and again when he went back due to NEGLIGENCE. go someplace that value your time and money and follow proper procedures with fidelity. go someplace where workers are WORKING. and not negligent due to joking around. read more

Do not go to any other Firestone in Lafayette other than this one! I received phenomenal customer service by Kevin Ford there. He was very welcoming when I arrived and assisted me swiftly. I believed that my car was overheating but in reality, it was not..I was being paranoid. Kevin and his team took the time to work me into their schedule and test out my car for about an hour to ensure I was not in any danger by continuing to drive into Houston. I felt really silly when they told me nothing was wrong with the car, but Kevin reassured me that it was better to be safe than sorry and made me feel better. I booked an appointment online for an oil, change, tire rotation, and fluid check. I received a confirmation email regarding my appointment. But the day of my Saturday appointment, I was told that they are not going to honor the appointment because they already have a lot of vehicles. I was also told that I can do a walk in, but there would be no guarantee that they would still do it that day. Everyone knows how hard it is to get service on a Saturday, and that was my reason for booking the appointment. If they were not going to hono the appointment, I could have at least gotten a call from someone in the store to inform me. Instead, I had to find out not long before my appointment was scheduled for upon me calling about what the cost of my services would be. That is completely unprofessional. And, of course, I called around to other locations and businesses, but they all were booked for the day. read more

We have four Firestone tires and on an 18 hour road trip two of our tires went out. We called and they said they were "too slammed" to fix them but could air up our tires. When we got there we offered to buy new tires but they wouldn't put them on for us or even sell us the new tires for that matter and that they wouldn't be open the next day to fit us in either. We usually love Firestone but this one is was not helpful. read more

The service was incredible here. I had a handful of things I needed done. The man answered any questions I had. It was done in a reasonable amount of time given I could go back to work and wait. When I called to ask about the progress on the fixes, the mechanic stated something I did not ask for. I then asked why he was working on that. He explained to me that if I would have asked just for a particular item itself, it would have costed xyz. He then said that he chose to do something different because it included what I asked for while inspecting another item and it was half the price. This place has the best interest of the customer in mind. The best part is that they never tried to sell me anything else. The only additional comments that were given were about my tire(s) and when to expect to change it/them. The cashier/mechanic was very nice and polite. Don't go to this place. If you need tires they will take you in immediately and they will convince you to get lifetime alignment and free tire rotation. When you come back later they are always to busy to get your alignment or rotate your tires, I have been trying to do this for a year and they refuse to take me in, even at 7:30am with no customers or cars around. I'm kind of surprised by all the bad reviews I see here. I brought my 2012 RAM 1500 in a while back because a Firestone tire shop told me I needed a new rack and pinion because the seal was leaking. It sounded fishy and I just wanted an alignment. After checking it out after I told them what I was told they said it was perfectly fine and aligned it no problem. No leaks, no problems. That was over 4 months ago. Tires are wearing fine and still perfectly aligned. They could have swapped out my rack and pinion and charged me an arm and a leg, but they didn't. The tech explained that the "oil" they were trying to say was the leak at Firestone was nothing but some drips from the last oil change that had dripped down on the boot. So I thank you guys for being honest. read more

The costumer service here is beyond incredible. I left my truck here to have work done while I was going out if town in business. Very poor service. I won't be going back or recommending them to anyone else. Went in for AC check and they didn't put the freon back in so I had to drive around for two days before they could fix it. It was a one hour process just to do that so I don't know how that could have happened unintentionally. On top of that I got a second opinion and Firestone's diagnosis was wrong and wouldn't have fixed my problem anyway. All I received from Firestone was "I'm sorry" and "I understand," nothing that actually helped, when I discussed it with them. Their only attempt to fix it occurred after I posted a negative review. read more
