Im not the biggest fan of jelly filled pastries, but this one was actually really good. It paired well with the crispy exterior and not too sweet. I really enjoyed it! The goat cheese and roasted leak definitely had complimenting flavors, but it wasn't his favorite scone he has. He wished there was more goat cheese versus it just being on top. We stopped in to find some interesting coffee beans, and we received very personalized service. We picked up a bag of decaf (which is getting harder to find in whole bean), and a bag of regular. There is a huge variety of beans to choose from and of course, they know their stuff! They provide coffee to many restaurants in the area and have a big operation. We will definitely be checking out more varieties, we tasted the ones we bought in comparison with a bunch of other roasters on the Central Coast and they are the winner for variety as well as quality. They definitely take pride in their selection and quality!

According to the new owner, they're not associated with the last one in any way. Chapter 25 has its own theme that I love which is "kindness". You'll see stickers, art works, and signs both inside the store and outside that promoting kindness. I am obsessed with matcha drinks and matcha anything! If the place offers matcha drinks or desserts, I'd have to try it. From all the pictures on Yelp, their strawberry matcha seems like the most popular item, so of course I had to try it my first time here. The matcha is ceremonial quality, whisked and made as ordered, then pair with fresh strawberry puree pieces and milk. I have tried matcha drinks/latte from pretty much every coffee shops around that offer them, Chapter 25 is hands down the best one! Glad Chapter 25 is here.
