    Chocolate Croissant w/Cappuccino
    Justin S.

I kept seeing this coffee shop all over social media as one of the best coffee spots in SLO County, so I knew I had to check it out for myself. When I walked in, I was impressed by how open and spacious the café felt. There was plenty of seating, making it a great place to relax or get some work done. What immediately caught my attention, though, was the pastry case since I'm a huge fan of pastries. I ended up ordering a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant. The cappuccino was okay, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The espresso tasted fairly light, and I personally prefer a stronger, more complex espresso flavor. Overall, the drink leaned a bit too milky for my taste. The chocolate croissant was also just average. I was a little disappointed when I overheard that pastries could be warmed up upon request. I imagine it would have tasted much better warm. It would be helpful if staff mentioned this option when customers order in-store, especially for first-time visitors. Otherwise, how would new customers know? Overall, the service was friendly, and the coffee shop has a beautiful modern atmosphere. While the ambiance stands out, I found the coffee and pastries to be just okay. If you visit, I'd definitely recommend asking to have your pastry warmed up, it may make a big difference in the experience.

absolute beauty of a coffee shop plus we had to charge our tesla there. Bathrooms clean, plenty of places to sit and enjoy. Now for coffee our lattes were way too milky for our taste and the lady did not ask if we wanted it hot or iced. She automatically assumed hot and because it was busy we were unable to get it switched. We didn't like our drinks and will walk to another shop next time we have to charge

I really loved the vibe of this coffeehouse! It's bright, welcoming, and incredibly cute--perfect for meeting up with friends, studying, reading a book and relaxing, or even doing a little shopping. The whole place has a great energy, and I was feeling it! The vanilla bean latte was delicious, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet. A great spot to hang out and enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Another location that used to be a bank and turned into a coffee shop. This shop is huge and modern. They have plenty of seating inside and out. Also a cute little table with chairs for kids. My boys really enjoyed it. They have lots of options for drinks, food, and pastries. I choose an iced chai. The drink did take awhile but was worth the wait. The chai had a spiciness to it. I'm not sure what it was but I liked it. A cool coffee shop to relax at if you're in the area.

Coffee is pretty darn delicious. Service was great careful and sweet. Ambiance of a wide open space with a bank vault as an office. Full view of roasting room with comfortable seating throughout. Only reason they didn't get five stars because a Scout ball cap is $32 bucks!!

What to Get: You can't go wrong with any of their coffees/teas. I always go for anything seasonal. Their pastries are a delight as well Customer Service: Exceptional service, expectations exceeded. Unfortunately, my wife accidentally spilled my coffee all over the table, ground and me; I thought, "there goes me having some coffee," as I wasn't planning to pay for another coffee, but when we asked for help to clean the area, Caitlyn who was one of the barista there, cleaned up the situation we had along with making a new coffee like the one that spilled free of charge without us expecting her to offer the free coffee. I was so thankful that I still got to drink my coffee after all Price: Approximately $17.30, not including tip for 2 people Ambience: Indoor/Outdoor Seating. Large coffee shop to study, read and/or work at Overall: Best Experience

Came in here for a quick latte before hitting the road, and it's a super cute spot. Went with the butterscotch latte, since that was one of the holiday specials, and the barista was real nice. Not the sweetest of syrups, which is appreciated.

Shout out to Kaitlin for taking my complicated order and making it easy for me. Thank you for the personal cup discount and speedy service. - I was excited to get the Ginger Molasses Cookie but realized it was a different recipe from last time. This cookie was thicker, less moist and had a rock sugar topping. It is still vegan and gluten free but I preferred the other recipe better. - The Matcha was made with more milk than expected. As always, parking was tight but free and the decor was festive and on brand.

Love this place! I'm so happy they opened up the Morro Bay location. It's beautiful and sooo spacious. We went in the morning between 9 and 11 for two days in a row and found street parking very easily. We also had no issues finding tables. Coffee was delightful. Perfect for your early beach town walks.

Tried both locations-SLO & Morro Bay. both locations were very clean and staff was polite. The morning bun was amazing. Crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. I had a vanilla latte and the Gibraltar. Both were excellent. My husband ordered the golden milk, which is something you don't find too often at a coffee shop and it was good. Can't wait to go back!

Walking in, you can tell this is a classic neighborhood café. There's nothing overly fancy about it--just a few tables, a small pastry case, and, of course, coffee. One thing that surprised me was the music choice. They were playing what sounded like punk rock, which felt a little out of place for the atmosphere of the café, especially since many of the customers appeared to be older adults. For my order, I went with a blueberry muffin and a cappuccino. The muffin was fresh and flavorful, and the cappuccino was well made. Overall, I was happy with both items. The reason I'm taking off a star is because the employee working during my visit used a lot of profanity while speaking. I understand that casual conversation happens, but I don't think that kind of language is appropriate in a café setting where customers are trying to relax and enjoy their coffee. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a quick grab-and-go coffee or pastry. The food and drinks were good, but the atmosphere wasn't ideal for sitting down to study, work, or have a conversation with someone.

But still was able to get everyone's stuff out in a timely manner. Without sacrificing customer service. We ordered their chai latte and a black medium roast coffee. As well as a breakfast burrito and a rock harburrito. We forgot to tell her it was to go as we were trying to get back home before the LA traffic started. Imagine to my surprise when she came out with the food and it was to go!! The chai latte was really good. I loved it. And my wife really enjoyed it. Black coffee was good too. No frills. No fluff. But it kept me awake for the 4.5 hour drive home. So that works. The breakfast burrito was really good. My wife enjoyed hers. And mines was good too. Packaged really well. Ate it while driving so that really facilitated us getting home before the traffic. It was a very hearty burrito the rock harburrito. Gave us some green sauce to go with it. And it was just amazing. The inside is somewhat cramped with many tables and chairs. She also sells baked goods. And some random things. Like coffee mugs and other things.
