I love strong coffee. I come here for the bourbon coffee made into an Americano. It's so smooth and bold. My friend loves their Mexican mocha latte. I also liked the lemon poppy muffin. The croissants are good, flakey and crunchy. Nice cafe with a chill vibe. I like sitting outside but they also have plenty of seating indoors.

It was really busy at the coffee shop today. Thank you to Juan for insuring my beverage was made to my liking. The staff did a great job today. - I noticed that the clientele is very family oriented. I think it's great you have such a wonderful relationship with the community. - A note to those in the neighborhood. It is the season when illness can be easily spread. If you have a child that is unwell and constantly coughing, please offer them a mask to avoid getting other children ill. The coffee shop also serves the elderly and individuals with chronic illnesses and keeping sick children at home until they are well is the best practice for everyone involved.

Came to visit family with my bf and it was my first time in the area. This spot was close to our hotel and did not disappoint! I love coffee that actually tastes like coffee - not overly sweet or milk tasting (for the lattes). The coffee here is delicious and smooth. I got an iced vanilla latte. Also the staff is extremely friendly!

You walk in and the aroma of coffee permeates the building! The service is friendly and the place is busy. We had a latte and a coffee and both were delicious. The latte was also pretty. My husband ordered an orange cranberry scone and it was outrageously good, just the right texture and flavor! We will return for sure!

I prefer going to independent coffee shops. This was not good. Coffee had no flavor. And was luke warm. I wanted to like this place. Nope.

Pretty much came here everyday when we were staying in Atascadero. Mornings can be a bit busy depending on which wave you catch but lines generally move pretty quickly. The freshly brewed coffee is good and the specialty brews is not to be missed (London Fog was my favorite).

Great fresh roasted coffee! Variety of coffee drinks and super friendly people! Great seating inside and outside. Wonderful local cafe

"Have the Day You Want" I'd rate Joebella 4.5 out of 5 beans! I really admire their story and what they stand for. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us warmly. I ordered a café miel, a chai latte, and two iced horchata lattes. Each one was rich and flavorful with sweetness perfectly balanced so it never overpowered what mattered most: THE COFFEE. The pastries weren't my favorite, which is the only reason for the half bean deduction. We found seating outside, where my family and I enjoyed peaceful, cozy conversations and quality time together. While waiting for our drinks inside, I noticed people either working or savoring a slow morning. Everyone was incredibly friendly! I even got a compliment from a stranger on my outfit. The place truly radiates good vibes. @the.wise.bean

I drive to Morro Bay for a sprint triathlon every year and every year on the way home, I make a point to stop here for a latte. English toffee latte is the best, but the Carmel latte is a close second, in my opinion. Their staff is very upbeat and polite. They are quick and while the place is somewhat medium to small on the inside, the quiet atmosphere is very pleasant. I cannot believe how good their coffee is. Now I i have to go an entire year thinking about it again.....sigh

My friends and I love coming here during our breaks to grab some coffee! I've ordered the to-go jugs (not sure what they're called but the big gallons of coffee lol) several times on weekends and they're always quick to have my order ready. The staff is friendly and the burritos and pastries are tasty. I've even sent my family coffee from here and they love it too!

We literally picked this coffee place cause we needed coffee and it came up first in the maps, and I am so happy it did. Inside is so cute and clean. The workers felt inviting and the space feels the same. Me and my husband like to try what's popular or what's new to us so we ask a lot of questions. They were so patient and answered our questions and helped my hubby pick a complicated drink and never made us feel "dumb" I got an iced miel latte. Cinnamon and honey. It's very good, the honey is subtle and still has a strong coffee forward flavor. I really enjoyed it. My hubby got the almond joy, half sweet, with a quad. told ya complicated lol! He loved it and said it was like eating a coconut. I tried it and only tasted that espresso, too strong for me but that's how he likes it. Would love to visit again if our time here allows it.

Located on North El Camino, next to Colony Culture, in an industrial building, is Joebella. They have little parking, but every time I go, I score a spot. When walking in, you're greeted. Straight ahead you have to counter, menu, coffee, pastries, breakfast options, etc. To the right you have seating and self serve coffee additives and plates, etc. To the left, a large window to see all where all the roasting magic happens. I ordered a pound of Michael's Folly Espresso Beans, for my DeLonghi. Since I ordered a pound, he said I get a free 8oz drip! Score! The thing is, you want the beans to be roasted closer to the time you grind them and drink them. The more time that goes on, the more the oils dry out of the beans. To get the most out of your coffee: Get fresh roasted beans and grind every morning. My wife and I love the espresso beans here. They have that deep roasted coffee nose, bitter, woody, cocoa, silky, dry, deliciousness! Signed up for their rewards, can't wait to accumulate points! Awesome that it is directly across the freeway from us. *Wish the espresso was even richer*

As someone visiting from out of town, I was hoping for a warm, welcoming coffee shop experience. The café is definitely cute and has a great atmosphere, but the service felt a bit rushed. It also wasn't busy--there were only a few customers inside, and I was the only person ordering coffee at the time. Even so, I wasn't asked if my order was for here or to go, and I also wasn't asked if I'd like my coffee cake warmed. Everything was automatically served in a to-go cup with a cold slice of coffee cake. After sitting outside, I noticed other customers enjoying their drinks in ceramic mugs, which would have made the experience feel much more like the cozy coffee shop I was hoping for. It's a small detail, but those little touches can make a big difference, especially for first-time visitors. The quality of the coffee is worth stopping in for, but a little more attentiveness and hospitality would make the experience even better.

Luckily, this place absolutely nailed it. Their mocha is hands down one of the best I've had. In fact, I've been working in the area for the last four days, and I've stopped in for a mocha three of those four mornings. That's how good it is. The staff deserves just as much praise as the coffee. Every barista I've interacted with has been friendly, welcoming, and consistently on point. They genuinely make you feel appreciated and are a huge asset to this coffee shop. If you're anywhere nearby and love a great mocha, do yourself a favor and stop by H. Cheval Coffee. You won't be disappointed.
